different lock screen and home screen wallpapers

I want to be able to have different lock screen and home screen wallpapers again.

Lock screen to home screen transition

Something minor but very annoying. When I unlock my phone and go to the home screen, it takes a second for the home screen wallpaper to load. I am using the same Xperia image for both the Lock and home screen so it's annoying when it takes a second to load the home screen wallpaper when it's the same one. Anyone know a fix? Thank you.

I use Nova Launcher which lets you cache stuff, although you do lose some stock widgets if you use it.

That same behaviour shows on the Z3 Compact as well. However, as found there, it does not happen with all wallpapers. Some load slower, some come up instantly. I, for one, like the old "Metal Wallpaper" that was available on the Z1 and the Z1C best (no longer there on the Z3 series) and luckily that one loads in no-time. I've attached it (the Z1 full HD version) and you might want to give it a try and check.

is there a way to toggle between two home screens launchers on a galaxy note 9 I use Action Launcher during the day and the Stock 1UI at night to take advantage of the Home screen in portrait mode? Can I setup a
shortcut button?

Can't create widget on the home screen

Normally when you touch and hold the home screen there will some option for you to change wall paper and create widget on the home screen. However, when I tough and hold the home screen on the Mate 30, there is no response at all. I tried with different launcher on the Mate 30 and I have the option to create a widget when I tough and hold the home screen. What could be the problem with the Mate 30 launcher? Thanks for your reply.

You have to pull together with two fingers then you come to the launcher settings, widgets and background images

where home screen setting?

S9 has the home screen setting but I can't seem to find it in the note 20.

long tap in an empty area on your home screen, you will get options like widgets, settings etc.
