Donations
I usually don't like to shove donations in peoples faces but this was a MASSIVE undertaking for all of us involved with all of us either having school, work, or both. Many weekends and late nights have been spent getting the new Kernel and Android 12 ready. The Kernel was by far the biggest challenge as upstreaming from 3.18 to 4.4 is a huge project. It's taken over a year to get to his point. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated. I've linked mine and xxseva's (LG v20 dev) donation pages below.

Sorry to hear that. I couldn't find a way to unlock the bootloader. I am using H850.
cool working ^^ i try it out, and i seems to be really smoth. really good job!
just a simple question: there are any suggestions to get the cellular connectivity? maybe without it is a nice proof of concept.
This is amazing it feels so fluid and smooth. Looking forward to having RIL fixed!
Would it be possible to get an a11 build with the new 4.4 kernel? Would really being this phone back to life! Thanks for all your work

I'm glad you like it and theres much more where that came from, as for 11 I barley have the time to keep 12 up so 11 would take away a lot of dev time for 12

Welcome mate,,if u find any bugs let me know
While I am happy with stock+Xposed (for now) it's great to see the expanding selection of custom ROMs for Perry - largely due to your contributions. Nicely done, mate.
BTW - Not forgetting those mentioned in the credits. But in the end someone has to assemble all the bits and bobs into a functional package, field user inquires and requests, etc.

Seems like LTE on sprint doesn't work, but that was kinda expected anyways.

most phones released in 2018 still do not have pie and we have the first release for a phone that was launched more than 6 years ago cheers Comico..great job!!
Waiting for you to come up with the stable release. Since note 2 is my primary and only phone, I can't afford to install this yet since some bugs are showstoppers.
Is GPS working this time (unlike oreo ROM)?

Hey Kevios, you've posted like 10 different ROMs. How are you managing to build these all so quickly? Which one's are you developing and focusing on the most?

I own multiple servers and they are actually all mine. I focus on several, don't worry, updates are guaranteed for now. PS: I'm glad that there are finally some for the device ...

haha. Yup, I've been with the A40 for a while just wishing there would be some development on it and suddenly like 10 ROMs come from one developer all around the same time! Good to have you working on ROMs. What variant would you recommend from the ones you manage (which one you most happy with)?

Just my 2 cents but i ve found this rom unstable (it locks up ramdom at reboot). Sakura is much better imo.

i've used this rom for about 4 Weeks, fast, smooth, stable, no random reboots or whatever, sorry idk what u are installed on this. Or which Kernel u use.
Kernel from the rom, and my usual sets of apps (which are working well with all the other roms from you i might add since you're so prolific). I also noted that fennec was crashing (i use migrate to reinstall the apps + data). It might be that but migrate plays well usually. no biggie i'm happy to have some choice thanks to your hard work. The only nagging thing : i cant have a rom that support waking up the screen when a sms is received. (some advertised the feature but it never work). i rely on an app to do that.
does adaptive brightness work?

What's working :
Everything
Known issues:
slider (no server to build fix)
Downloads :
Gapps only : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1WiozpbigmZS-zL99ZkKww1ItSzfdGpx1?usp=sharing
Notes:
If it won't boot / bootloop, flash latest china firmware before flashing rom (always wipe cache, dalvik, system, vendor flash rom and format data)
F2FS not support for this build (due to tree rebase)
if this build won't boot, take boot.img and dtbo.img from other rom (but it should boot, already tested couple times)
if launcher crash, ping me ASAP

So far, it is actually pretty usable on its current state. I've used the NikGapps Basic for it.
Thank you for developing it.
Super looking forward to this development! Once more of the bugs are ironed out, I'll be looking at switching!
loipuru - you make some amazing ports!
I'm using this for 2 days, very stable ROM.
Thanks for your hard work!!!

Same
alright,
new update up
and count it as initial release (because a lot of things got fixed)
Thanks man , you are the most handsome
Giving this a try on mine. Looks really good so far! Just kinda don't understand why they limited the color selection so much if you don't have it sample from your wallpaper (I have live wallpaper so that won't work). Everything seems to work great, though, I even have it passing SafetyNet.
Is this good for a primary device or at the moment it's better to stay with android 11? (I mean even on pixel devices android 12 is a mess, from what I read - no direct experience)

depending on your usage, but battery life is bit worse than a11 for sure
also a11 overall menu is looking better than 12, but 12 you'll get like dynamic colors (wait for dotos, there're working to bring a11 qs into a12)
soc is up around 2 - 3hrs when full gaming, it's fine by me
Thank you, guys, I tried many roms, finally decide to using this, it's best
source update is up, but update will be slower than i expected (source sync error 3 times). gonna wait until it buildable on ci
