did you try to flash the newest rom ?
By the way .... which G6 do you have ? (L11, u10 etc..)
In the title it says U10, thought that would be enough info
I never flashed/rooted a phone before so I didnt try anything so far...
edit: I tried the suggestion from this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59545669&postcount=4
1. redownload the rom file from official location. ( http://consumer.huawei.com/kh/suppor...h.htm?id=38361 )
It is the official for g6-l11 (-> dl a version for G^-u10 instead)
2. put the update.app into dload folder on your sd card (unpack from the zip)
3. shut down your phone
4. hold volume+ volume- and power button. When it start to boot release the power button, and hold both the volumes until the instalation starts
5. you will see that firmware flashing begin, wait for the end

It seems to work, I see the green android dude and text "updating from external storage" but the problem is the phone keeps restarting itself so it doesnt continue with the update... I suspect sometings wrong with the battery, short circuit maybe?
edit 2:
After giving up last night i tried the above procedure one more time this morning...and for some reason the installation continued. Phone has been up and running again since 8:30 this morning...
where can i get stock rom that can be flashed via sp flash tool? my huawei ascend g6-u10 is bricked after flashing b330. any solution for this?
my phone is dead but my pc can still recognize it
I (stupidly) decided to repartition my Moto G3 using this guide. Now, when trying to turn my phone on, the screen stays blank and there's no indication that it's working but it reboots once every two to five seconds or so (telling you how I can tell it's rebooting would be a long story and I'm sure it's irrelevant to the issue).
Am I just hooped or is there hope?
Can you boot in to bootloader?
If yes just flash stock firmware (should include partition layout)

Nope, all attempts to get into the bootloader fail. The screen just stays blank with no indication that it's doing anything at all (although behind the scenes it's actually rebooting once every few seconds). My (uneducated) guess is it can't even access any of the partitions.

Hey, since according to what you say your device is currently stuck in a boot-loop, I suggest you first take out the battery out for a few seconds and then put it back then enter recovery mode using the device buttons right after. only then connect your device to PC and use adb...

Or, since the battery is not officially removable, wait till the battery dies and then try to boot into bootloader.
Volume down broken
Hi! My mom's phone started to heavily slow down with its stock firmware so I tried to install a custom firmware since I installed one on mine and we both have Moto G3s.
Thing is, it bricked and the volume down button is dead since a few month so I don't have access to the bootloader, otherwise I would just flash the stock firmware. Only buttons working are volume up and on/off buttons.
Is there any way to access the bootloader with this button or am I screwed on this one ?

Can you boot the ROM?
If so, you should be able to turn on usb debugging and run 'adb reboot recovery' and reflash from there

what about fastboot devices (with admin/root privileges) ?
Hi, a friend of me has a Samsumg Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F), which runs continuously in a bootloop while installing a system update. It goes to 29% and then restarts himself to start installing the system update again and returns to exactly 29% again, followowd by a restart again, and again, and again ........ Attempts to start-up in recovery mode (Power, Volume +, Home) or download mode (Power, Volume -, Home) do not work. Also my PC does not recognize the phone. :crying::crying:
Does anyone have got an idea to got my phone working, or any other idea to get my phone in recovery- or download-mode?
Anyone?
The Phone boot ?

No, unfortunately not. It keeps restarting when system update is at 29% and after the restart keeps comming back in "installing a system update" ......

For that I have to boot to download-mode, right? Problem is that the phone isn't booting to download-mode, recovery or sytem at all. At least not by the "normal" procedure. It constantly booting to "installing systemupdate" ......:crying:
When you connect To odin. The Phone is recognized?
You are not holding volume down+power+home long enough. Keep holding it until you get to the download mode prompt screen.

No, the phone is not recognized by ODIN. Drivers on PC are oke, because my S7 edge and my girlfriends S5 are recognized by ODIN ......

Were the volume down, home and power button functioning fine before hand?
Looks like one of the buttons don't work.

As far as I know, buttons worked fine before. I guess phone is brikked and not much I can do about it anymore ....... :crying::crying:
I'm guessing you already tried running it flat? There is still a chance download mode is bootable once you get the phone to go off due to flat battery.
This phone is a pretty bad brick, I've fixed up to DRK corrupted but this one seems unrecoverable.

Yes, I already let the phone running empty battery. But as soon as I plug in the powercord, the same process starts over and over again .......
And with adb ?
same trouble
Hi everybody, i had the same trouble on my G-920F (S6), and the only strange way i've find, is to keep button volume up AND down and power, once it's turn off for rebooting, i've add the home button pressed.
finally by that way it show me the recovery menu. Another time it show me the download menu !!??
Well but now my trouble is that i cannot succeed to flash correctly the last official samsung firmware using Odin .
i've tryed to erase nand (i know i should not), but without succeed.
so i'm looking for pit file, and i will try an older firmware.
so try with the volume up and down and power, in case of it works like for me
After rooting my smartphone, I turned it off and on again, and it booted up infinitely. I was embarrassed and touched this and that, then went to wipe->advanced wipe menu and accidentally changed the system file. After that, my smartphone doesn't work at all. I'm posting this because I wanted to know how to turn on this smartphone, so I hope someone who knows about this part will reply.
(OEM seems to have turned off as the OS disappeared when I judged it.)
So can you boot into anything? Try all button combinations possible.
Or it is just black screen without a single text no matter how ?

Now all of a sudden, a lightning bolt icon appears on the black screen, which appears to be charging.
Do not unplug your phone. Press and hold the Power key and the Volume down key simultaneously for more than 7 seconds. As soon as the screen goes black hold down Volume Down + Volume Up for a few moments.

The power button and the volume bottom button were pressed at the same time and pressed for 7 seconds or more. The smartphone was turned off. Since I used TWRP in this state, I have been routed using the powerward button and the power button to move the powerward button and the power button for a long time to move the BACKUP entry, and the system image is displayed, but the system is displayed as 0 MB. And if you try to reboot, the NO OS Installed error will be opened and you want to install the TWRP app, and Failed to Mount / System (No Such Devices) Error appears. Now this is the symptoms of my smartphone.

First, I asked you to go to download mode. How do I have since that? (OEM seems to be forcibly turned off when the OS itself is gone. I turned on the routing before.)
You are in twrp now, but shows system as 0mb?
Can you press mount> system or wipe> factory reset?

No. With OEM locked, even if your phone is locked as tight as bill gates's wallet, you can still boot into download mode. However You can only flash stock ROM in that case. This is the definition of OEM lock: you can flash, but cannot flash anything except stock rom.
You must not be meaning OEM lock.

Although I am looking for information on the Internet, it seems that a program called Odin is necessary for Samsung phones. The internet says that you can upload the genuine firmware, but is there any other way to upload this genuine firmware other than using Odin? And what should I do if my smartphone is not recognized?

When I enter reboot from twrp, four items are displayed on my smartphone: system, power off, recovery, and download. If you go to system, the Galaxy A8 logo is displayed and it stops, and if you go to download, it goes into download mode.
The bootloader entry is not visible.

When I went to the path where I had touched the system setting incorrectly and changed the system setting to ext2, what was displayed as 0MB was displayed as 7MB. After I just selected ext2 it was still showing 0MB, but now it shows 7MB.
But the no os installed error is still displayed.
However, the Failed to Mount / System (No Such Devices) error no longer appeared.

1. Then request phone's Stock ROM directly from Samsung.
2. As you were already told flashing a phone's Stock ROM doesn't require phone's bootloader is unlocked.
You reported you have flashed TWRP successfully: this means your phone's bootloader got successfully unlocked.
Take note that TWRP is used to flash Custom ROMs.
Stock rom: www.samfw.com
For odin and usb drivers just search
Flash in download mode

I'm still a beginner, so I don't know how to flash custom roms or anything like that. Is there a way to flash a custom rom or original firmware using TWRP? Now, it enters the download mode and waits for it to be recognized by Odin, but it is still not recognized by Odin.
Does it usually take a long time for the smartphone to be recognized by Odin?
Do you have other phone? Is the cable good and transfering files?
Hello There,
Recently, I had brought an OnePlus Nord 2T, Indian Variant specifically. I was trying to root the device by installing TWRP but the TWRP wasn't having any access to the storage because I had wiped the Internal Storage in TWRP before I could do that, which didn't give me any access to the storage of the device. Even if I connected my PC.... Or Disabling/Re-Enabling MTP.
Long story short, I eventually gave up and decided to try again sometime later and proceeded to lock the bootloader. But after relocking the BL the phone would boot and show the error
"The current image(boot/recovery) have been destroyed". I have tried everything to get it to boot into Fastboot but it just won't boot into it.
Pressing Volume Down + Volume Up + Power Button will only display the same error with a small "Recovery Mode" at the bottom left of the screen! I could have tried booting from Recovery but it just doesn't works cause I think that there is no stock recovery because the phone hadn't booted to the OOS yet. Any help as to how can i get it to boot into fastboot mode???? Please!!!!!!!!
Please anybody respond!

This will not work if you have a bad boot partition. There was a way to flash boot.img via brom mode but it is patched now. So only now is to give it to Oneplus service center.

How long does the service center take to fix the device? Hours? Days? Months?
It usually takes 1-2 days. If you are lucky you get it fixed on the spot.
I had the same issue. Got a new device from my provider in exchange.
Maybe brom mode could work in your case.
Your build has to be A.14 or lower as A.15 received the patch.
