Question GPS Issues after software update on GW4 - Samsung Galaxy Watch 4

I updated my software to R870XXU1GVK4/R8700XM1GVK4/ and since then the GPS doesn't work. The green location icon keeps blinking on samsung health, and strava also doesn't get the GPS. The compass app and google maps does show location but only when connected to phone (using connected gps here ig), when disconnected, that fails too.
Note: connected gps doesn't work with samsung health or strava, only works with google fit from what i see
I have tried rebooting and even resetted the watch but the problem persists. No more updates yet. Do let me know if anyone else is facing a similar issue/if there is any fix.
Also attached a screenshot of the wearos gps fix app

No problem with GPS on my watch (R880) after update to the same FW.
Did you check permissions are set to use location by the apps on the watch?

[Q] Is my geolocalization broken?

Hello everyone.
I've been checking something and it looks lik my geolocalization via 3G networks is broken.
I'm running stock unrooted.
I have H / 3G full bars.
I have geolocalization turned on, battery saving settings as the GPS would not locate me in the building and also because I do not want a 10 feet pinpoint nor turn by turn navigation, so battery saving is exacly what I need.
I also have location publishing turned on.
Yet Maps or Tasker are completely unable to locate me....:crying:

Without touching anything it's working again....bah....
Not working once again....sigh....
Actually it's even worse today, when i press the locate me icon it doesn't say unable to locate me, it thinks that Im at work, but I'm not since 3 hours and 50 kilometers...
After a reboot it finds me...how can I check what was messed up? Kinda worrying considering that I've all stock unrooted...
Am I the only one with localization issues over 3g?...

[Q] Unable to switch on Location settings on Kitkat

Dear forumers, I'm having a problem turning on my location settings of my Motorola Atrix 2. Before this everything was fine, till I transfer all of my old SD contents to the new one I bought. After switching on the phone on my new SD, the GPS and WIFI location service are inaccessible. I remembered it pops up a box asking "Google will take the location information for something something" and I pressed disagree. Now when I tried to swipe the OFF button towards ON, it will force itself to the OFF position no matter what I tried. Clearing the 'Settings' data in Apps failed too.
So now I could not access it anymore. I even tried turning the GPS on using widgets and apps(that require me to turn on location) but to no avail. My phone is the Atrix 2, with customROM slimkat 4.4. Kindly help, thank you.

Watch4 request notification permission despite having permission already

I've got my Watch4 a while ago, after some struggles I managed to set it up just fine. Now, every day or so, I get a notification saying the watch needs permission to notifications to show them on the watch. However, I already have given it this permission. It can be solved by turned off and on the permission, but I'd rather not do this every day..
Anyone know what could be causing this?

This is a common problem with MIUI.
This happens with my Mi Band 5 as well.
The solution to this is to Lock the app in memory. To do so, bring up recents menu, press and hold your fitness app and click the small lock. This will prevent it from being cleared and also prevent the security app from clearing it during boosting.
Also make sure you never clear the app from recents manually.
All the best.

Question Watch 4 EU doesn't work with IQOO 9 Pro

Hi, I tried everything, every right I gave and nothing. I can download the Samsung Health App and Wearing App, also the Watch 4 Plugin. Everything is fine, but when I connect the watch to the Phone, it links it with bluetooth, I approve the linking number and than it says, you neead Watch 4 Plugin to move further. It is already installed, but ok, I click on further and it movies me to the Play Store on an empty page, where it shows, nothing here. WHY, any idea?

Question GPS problem!

I couldn't use my rog 5 for nevigation since half year ago. I have turned on high accuracy mode on google map but my phone could only recognise my position if i stop moving for a period of time. I took my phone to local phone store for checking and they said there is no hardware problem. (I am not sure about that) Is there anyone facing the same problem with me?
I have checked my gps function via the app gps test. Attached please find the results. Is it very rare that i can only view certain types of satellite and the signals are extremely weak?
I tried to update my phone to most current firmware (Version WW-31.0810.1226.91) but that didn't help.
I also follow the guide posted by johhny and repair my phone via edl firmware ( my phone is changed form CN to WW before i bought it). The problem is still there.
Is there any method that i can safe my gps on my phone??? Hope that someone can help me! Thanks!!!
