Hi everyone,
Has anyone else noticed the P7P doesnt always wake when a notification comes in? I have the setting turned on to wake when a new notification arrives.
Sometimes it works, other times, no. I tinkered with the notification settings and all looks good. Tried factory reset and on latest Nov image.
Any thoughts here?

Hey everyone,
I was using my Xoom earlier today when I noticed that my notifications were no longer being shown on the bar even though I had notifications. At first, I thought it may be an app I downloaded recently that caused a problem but after uninstalling all my recent apps my notifications would still not appear. The only recent thing I have done to my Xoom is put the recovery onto it but that shouldn't have changed anything. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The notifications still show up when I click on the clock but what I don't get are the icons on the bottom bar indicating I have a notification. But to answer your question, yes I do have notifications turned on.

Hi XDA,
I updated to Pie this morning and noticed that now when my phone turns to night mode this pesky little bar appears on my lock screen to tell me that night mode is on. As if I didn't already know. I've tried searching for other posts of this problem but couldn't find any.
When I go into app notifications, under 'Settings' the option to turn off 'night mode' notifications is grayed out. Previously in Oreo the notification was never an issue, I think because there wasn't a big bar across the screen.
It'd be great to disable just the night mode notification and not any other notification like WhatsApp or Facebook for example.

PS tried uploading images using the app, didn't work. Tried uploading the photos to my Dropbox then linking it here but XDA won't let me because I haven't reached 10 posts yet
Well from my understanding... We are unable to remove this notification permanently... Jusy a few hours at a time. It bugs me so much
Hey everyone. First I want to say I hope everyone is hanging in there during this very tough time. I'm having a problem with my Note 10. It's on Tmobile and I bought it from Tmobile. It's 100% stock and I've done usual updates from Tmobile OTA. I have recently seen that my missed calls do not show in my notification panel. If I pull the notification panel down into extended view, missed call icon is not showing there either. If I go to the Phone app and tap on recents I CAN there see missed calls. This is causing a major issue for me. Can anyone help? I also have gone to settings -> notifications -> phone and show notifications is grayed out.. but it's grayed out in the ON position. Also missed calls, voicemails are also grayed out in the same phone panel.. but in the on position. I'm really confused what is going on. I just want the missed phone icon to show in my notification panel because I often have my sound off. Any help would be great thanks!
Even though I got this feature turned of, the screen does wake up when I receive notifications. I've got the idea that it does with every app.

I have been occuring a problem for a half year now or so. After a major update to new version of one UI (4.5) my on screen notifications are not working anymore. I can see only small red dot and need to swipe to see the noticifations.
I did follow bunch of instructions how to enable it back... paired and unpaired phone, got a new phone, try enable/disable all... Yet still same result: all I can get is only red dot (screen indicator) and then I need to wake up the display and swipe to read notifications.
My setting in galaxy wear app for notifications:
show notificitations even when using phone
notificitaion indicator ON
read notifications aloud OFF
show details ON
turn on display ON
allow for new apps ON
Is there any way to enable again something like "wake up display upon receiving new notification and show it on screen"? Or any idea why is it not working anymore? Could it be watch face problem?

I just found out recently that after switch to ring mode from vibration mode it started displaying messages again. Please check and confirm if its the same or i tinkered something else....
