New MIUI Update Available but it's a older version? - General Topics

I have miui 13.0.12.0 which i got a update notification on it last month.
But today a new update notification showed but it's from MIUI 13.0.4.0
Why is Xiaomi giving me a rollback update?

mi4i update delayed

I have a unrooted mi4i device. It is running on miui 7.1.1. I haven't received update for global version 7.2.3 while other users have updated their device. If anyone knows why this has happened please reply.

MIUI 7.2 is released for China Rom and I am pretty sure I think u have global ROM.
That's why u didn't recieve update.
By the way, Mi4i update is being delayed.(even dev rom) So, be patient.
I have 2 Mi4i phones, both same versions, one received the update today and the other not, they both are unrooted and have global ROM, strange

Any new updates on our Global Devices?

It's been almost a month since i hav'nt had any new updates on MIUI
Xiaomi typically doesn't do monthly updates, every 2-3 months instead. Last 4 updates have been monthly but before that they weren't.
It's normal, last stable Miui 10 is stop since June. Tommorow it's rolling out Miui 11
Should be rolling out on the following week. The official global ROM download page was down since 36h ago.
Does it update only the stable or developer too?
There is an update to MIUI11 on Xiaomi.EU

If you are using the EEA (EU version) then you still have to wait for an OTA update. The 13.0.1 is no longer offered via OTA and the 13.0.2 as well as the 13.0.3 have been pulled by Poco (Xiaomi).
However, you could download the required recovery update and update it manually to at least 13.0.1. You can find the required update file in the following link.
Xiaomi Firmware Updater
The ultimate script that provides firmware packages for Xiaomi devices.

POCO X3 Pro EEA Stable Recovery V13.0.1.0.SJUEUXM 12.0
This would be the correct file if you currently have 12.5.5 EEA installed.
Just Google how to manually flash a recovery update.
The exact version is 12.5.5.0 (RJUEUXM)
Is that the EU version?
The last security update is from Jan.
Is it normal to receive almost no security patches, and no new MIUI version?
Thanks!

Yes, that's the EU (EEA) version. The security updates are delivered around 4-5 times per year and MIUI updates always take a while outside China. In the case of Android 12 (MIUI 13), we were unlucky because those updates were pulled due to some bugs that I personally never noticed. For me, the 13.0.3 runs super stable, as did the 13.0.1 and 13.0.2 before.
Thanks for clarifying.
The Poco isn't my main phone, it's been sitting in drawer for a year. Meanwhile my midrange Samsung from +2years ago receives constant updates,, hence my surprise.
