Hi everyone,
I'm planning to replace the battery on my Oneplus6.
I can't find any original battery form Oneplus.
I saw a few of them on aliexpress but they are not original
Does anyone know which generic brand with good quality would be suitable for a replacement ?
Thank you
Buying the original one would even be better but I can't find a seller in Europe who sell it.
They are all knockoffs, oneplus never sold parts to people only to shops and now that the phone is old i'm not sure there are any more originals.
You can try to find a OP phone to take the battery from or get a chinese clone and hope for the best.
Last time i searched in the clone department, someone said Nohon batteries are good for a clone compared to others, you could try those.

By buying a second OP phone, there is a very little chance to have the battery new, that's my concern.
I noticed most of the official shops are located in Indian and China which makes difficult to get it if you live in Europe.
Thank you for the link,I will have a look on it.
Any recommendations for getting the OP6 battery in India? Aliexpress doesn't ship here.
I ordered from Here and battery health and capacity is 100% according to accubattery.

Hey Guys,
I know this has been asked a lot of times already, but all those links point to international sites. There are a number of batteries available on ebay.in but I'm really skeptical about them.
So I was wondering if any one of you have bought one of those or from any other source and satisfied with the battery, would you please share the links?
I might buy a new phone eventually, but I want to keep this one alive It's not easy to give up on this guy!

Well if you are going for quality, buy an original one. Just google htc store. If you want something propably better go for mugen. These are expensive choices. If you want something cheap there's no big difference really, or no tests availble, so just buy the one that has the color you like.
I got my replacement battery and it has 4hours + of screen on time, which is sufficient till the next charge and enough to last me a day with heavy usage, Epower. But i think i got a bad bargain, seems a bit pricy, but more than a few months now, and the battery seems durable and it didnt explode
Someone please provide a link to any trusted product. And it should be available in India.
I bought one from eBay which supposed to be original but the new battery got quickly discharged after a few cycles and now it is also inflated. In need of a good battery.
Thanks for the help in advance.
Go to ebay and search "Replacement 2450mAh Battery for HTC Incredible S G11 Desire S G12 A7272 DesireZ" I have this one from hi-etech. No problems at all.

It isn't available in eBay India. And wherever it is available, the shipping costs are more than the product's cost.
Thank though! ☺
I bought a 2450 mAh GOLD BATTERY from eBay back in September 2013, it's still going strong. The battery was made in Japan but I bought it from a UK seller (as I live in the UK). I believe it says it's for the Desire Z on it, but both phones use the same batteries so it's fine.
So, were anyone of you able to get a replacement battery in India? Links will be really helpful!
Anybody have any links to the best quality replacement battery for the photon Q? I believe its the same as the droid 4. Currently looking at one on amazon made by "onite" as the "OEM" motorola ones that are listed online seem to get terrible reviews (could be fakes Im guessing?):

Golden oldie. Any new battery will be better than the old one ?
The problem with the OEM motorola batteries on ebay is that they're often old. I bought one for my Droid 4 in late 2014 and the battery was manufactured in late 2012, it was a "fresh" battery but almost as old as the one that came in the device, and only a marginal improvement. It might be better to have a newer chinese battery than an old motorola that's sat on a shelf for 3 years.
Hello, does anyone tryed some of this one? Lenmar Replacement Battery for Motorola EB41 (Model Number CLZ623M, Capacity (mAh) 1925). They promice a little bit better capacity, but I can't find any reviews on it. Thanks.
Hi, I was wondering if someone on here bought replacement batteries on AliExpress and could provide some feedback is it worth or they are selling low quality products that will lose it's capacity or explode, leak by 1 month of using?
I'm very much at a new battery stage and would mind some first hand experience, or ANYWHERE I can buy quality batteries that haven't sat around for years or half ruined...

I would be interested to hear as well. From what I see on Ebay/Amazon, many batteries are pulls from old phones, even when they are advertised as new (there is glue on the back, etc). Which means unless your battery is totally dead it won't offer much improvement. Particularly if they are abused by sitting on shelves for a year discharged.
I do know the OEM battery has a manufacturing date on the bottom, however I really doubt they are still being made.
I have looked for batteries made by reputable 3rd party makers like Anker but they seem to cater to the removable battery phone, not internal.
I don't care about it being original, but it sure needs to be good. Seems we have no options so far.
My Nexus 4 battery died and I had to change it.
The first battery I got was from https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00SMMFWZQ
It worked well but after 3 months, I was back to 50% capacity. It seemed like a reconditioned battery. It had a date on it which was January 2015. However the label had been tampered with, some sections were blacked out with a marker.
So I bought https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00X1USMBA
This seems to be a new battery made out of new cells.
After one month this battery still holds 100% charge.
I bought the one mentioned in the battery thread in this forum back in January of 2016 and have not had any issues.

Aliexpress still sells original OEM LG batteries marked with Jan 2016 Date. I thought LG stopped making these batteries some time ago.

Could you share a link?
Hey
i bought this www.ebay.com/itm/301596384001
i replaced it two days ago and its great performance
you can buy the original battery (and almost every part of the nexus 4 ,5, 5x) at (official spare parts distributer providing worldwide delivery): http://www.spareslg.com/gb/bateria-....html?search_query=nexus+4+battery&results=16
where you buy the battery from ?
I bought a battery on AliExpress last week, it took 10 days from order to delivery to Belgium (impressive).
I haven't installed it in my Nexus 4 yet (still waiting for the tools to come... shipping not as fast as wth the battery lol)
at least it looks very new. will report back once I install it and test it for a few days.

That looks pretty authentic -- anything make it seem like that's a KIRF version? Also, link please.

The product webpage says "CUUSEY" as the brand so it's most likely a 3rd party copy (or a reconditioned battery)
you can find it here http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Orig...s-For-LG-Google-Nexus-4-E960/32659188109.html
Still haven't installed it in my phone so still can't comment on the quality of it.

Can you share your impression about the battery performance? That'll really help users who are looking to get a replacement battery. I replaced from LG service center but saw no improvements compared to the 3 year old battery

I finally installed my battery over the weekend. So far so good. Battery life doubled (I'm running the fake nexus marshmallow rom). I can finally go out for drinks without taking my power pack (had barely 4 hours of usage (not SOT) before!)
Sadly, a few days before I swapped the battery, the digitizer on my N4 finally gave up (like on so many others) and I have a vertical dead zone on my screen. I don't really feel like investing time and money to replace it so this is the end of the road for my good ol' Nexus 4. Hopefully a Pixel XL will replace it next month.

So you could send me your battery, as you seems to be one among the few finding a GOOD one
I've received the battery from AliExpress. It looks like it is a fake battery. Installed it just now.
Will post about how it performs in this week :fingers-crossed:
Edit 1: After using it for 12 hours, I'm very much disappointed to see that I'm getting less backup than my 4 year old battery (I understand this is just initial period but I was not expecting this ). See attached screenshot of battery drain.
Edit 2: On very second day of this new battery, the phone switched off when battery was 18%... Opened a dispute on AliExpress straightaway. This is 100% fake battery

Do not trust these sellers. I also bought the battery from a good seller; but the battery that I got was fake (see my post above yours).
They are not even responding to the dispute.

As the title say I'm probably buying the non pro version due to the huge price difference (140€), what do you guys think? Ah I'm coming from a OnePlus 6, yesterday unfortunately I've discovered that the type c is kind loose and now the cable slips away if I slightly move the device...
Thanks in advance for the help!
7t should be out in 2 months time. Might be worthwhile waiting for it.

Problem is that I don't know when the type c port will break definitely, that's my main concern...

Probably an inexpensive fix. Won't you need to get it fixed if you plan on selling the phone at some stage?
I'd get it repaired and wait for the 7t.
Might find the 7pro gets heavily discounted soon too.
I've got the 7pro and it is fantastic! The 90hz screen is unlike anything I've ever used on a smartphone. Not sure the 7/7t will have a 90hz display.

It depends on Amazon answer on that, sometimes they refund it if it's not available. Anyway I'll do as you advised, I'll wait for the T version hoping to not break the port :fingers-crossed:

NO!
Oneplus 7 is worth buying in China, because you spend 200€ less money (about 400€ for a new 8/256GB) and you keep Oneplus official warranty for 1 year.
Ok you lose just 1 year, but the price is the same as a Mi 9T Pro
Or if you are lucky enough (just as me), you could find in Amazon Warehouse Deals, an OP7 used in perfect condition, paying the same as a new one in China market, but with a perfect phone and Amazon warranty (and you can give it back if it is not good enough for you).
I found a French OP7: same as the others OP, but in France it is mandatory to include earphones into the package (usb-c earphones worth 20€ in Oneplus shopping page)
I ordered the OP7 with 256Gb/8GB Ram for 390€ at Gearbest during flashsale. Pretty good deal in my opinion ? I hope the delivery doesn't take too long...

I ordered my OnePlus 7 8/256 from Aliexpress for $440 so no, Amazon's current price of 600 euros is not a good deal.
For that kind of money you would get the 7 Pro on Aliexpress.
No, this device not worth such money!
I have it for 3 month already and no single custom rom, I would wait little bit for release of 7t pro and buy the 7 pro version.
Have you tried maybe the usb plugs from ali like quick connect..

I personally advise to purchase the OP7. It's my best best phone so far (dual speakers, same ufs3, same main camera...).
But... I've paid 381€ for the 8/256 chinese version in a much nicer red colour. There's no important difference between global and chinese versions (charger plug, instructions language...). You've even got 1 year official warranty!
Joan Tur (OP7)
Do you guys recommend buying the OnePlus 7 now? I can get a pre-owned 6GB with 10 months warranty with insurance remaining. Around 75% of that price I can get a 6T with a few months warranty remaining. Also I can't afford a 7T. Which phone do you guys recommend?
Tbh I wouldnt get either phone
Theres a lot more phones coming out this year with better specs
I have my wife's OG Pixel (international version) that I set-up for my son. The battery life is horrible. AccuBattery shows 75%. Thinking of replacing the battery but I don't want to spend the time and money unless I can get a decent one. Many on eBay and amazon are Chinese knock-offs that are probably worse than what is in the phone now.
Anyone have any luck with certain brands or sellers? What should i look for.
Thanks in advance.
