Anyone else ran into this issue? What was the last firmware version that worked with GPay?
No Velvet 5g owner uses GPay?

Hi all, sometime last week Google Pay stopped working for me with a "Can't pay in shops on this phone" error. I updated Google Pay to the latest version 2.85.239456103, Magisk to 18.1 and Magisk Manager to version 7.1.1. Running Magisk Manager and tapping on "SafetyNet Check" passes the test, however Google Pay still doesn't work. Is there a fix for this? I've got a SM-G955F with Android 8.0.0, but can't remember if it's the original ROM or a modified one, but it's pretty old, about a year old now.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Hi there, I have recently managed to get Google services installed on my ELS-NX9 (C432) and during my eagerness of updating to the most updated and compatible firmware (according to Firmware Finder) I updated the phone to the 10.1.0.182 (C432E8R4P1) version. I have to say the phone still works fine and have no issues whatsoever (apart from a few freezes when if using Google chrome which all I need to do is to go back to the home page and return to the app to unfreeze it. Annoying when it happens but not the end of the world).
With that being said, I have run safetynet and it shows a fail under cts profile match which leads me to think the firmware I've used is not 100% intended for my device (please correct me if I'm wrong).
Do you know which firmware is the most updated and 100% compatible firmware I should use for my device?

used ictfix solution 1 to install GMS
after a i downgraded and waited a few minutes i got an OTA update to 10.1.0.176 and after that i got a OTA for 11.0.0.151 (C432E3R4P3)
so far everything seems ok. hope this helps u

I have the Verizon LG Velvet. It works fine but here is the issue.
Android 10 software version-G900VM10e-Google Pay works fine. SafetyNet check gives the phone a good pass on all:
SafetyNet Request-PASS
Response Signature-PASS
Validation-PASS
Basic Integrity-PASS
CTS Prifile Match-PASS
However, when the phone reaches Android 11 G900VM20F via updates, CTS Profile Match comes back with a FAIL. And Google Pay no longer works. I get the following message when trying to set up my cards in Google Pay:
{Couldn't finish setup to pay in stores-This phone can't be used to pay in stores.This may be because it is rooted or altered in some other way.}
This phone was never rooted and I only get this message when the phone reaches the 20f firmware update. I had to downgrade the phone back to Android 10 G900VM10e in order to continue using Google Pay. But the phone will update back up again to 11.
Does anyone know what may be the issue and how it can be fixed? Thanks

Same CTS failure. Phone was never rooted.

It was a dead issue. The same issue returned shortly after I thought it cleared. I ended up getting a refund from the seller.
I flashed U1 recently on my Snapdragon S22 Ultra (after sending it in for repairs) and now Google Wallet gives me an error stating that the device does not meet "security requirements".
Samsung pay continues to work well. Does anyone know what causes Google Wallet to present with this error?
Can you give more information? Did you flash all the files in the zip file? It could be you didn't flash the CSC

Did you flash the beta?
If so the betas do not in fact meet the security requirements as it's not a signed image (I think I recall that being the root cause) either way if on beta, Google pay won't work.

I can't even get samsung wallet to work. It just says failed to connect to server when trying to add a card.. I've reinstalled a couple times. Currently using google wallet on my watch..

I have US unlocked U1 version, directly purchased from Samsung web site. I update VZW-F721U1UEU1AVIA by Odin. I have no issue after upgrade.
Not sure what is the different between F721BXXU1AVIF, probably vendor specific.
BTW, I am using US Mobile which is VZW MVNO.
VIF is in F721B International model, at the moment only for INS CSC.

I don't think it has nothing to do with the new firmware update. It has to do with Google Pay last update. I had this problem two weeks ago, but was fixed quickly in a later update See if there is an update to your Google Wallet app.
Are you rooted? New firmware can mess with magisk/zygisk modules that hide root. Phone not certified usually means you aren't passing safety net
