Extinguish is an app that makes your device turn off the screen but not go to the lock screen status, which means that you can make any other apps continue to run after your screen off.
On mobile device, screen always takes away 10%~20% in your daily battery usage. And sometimes, you don't want to watch the screen but what the foreground apps continue to run, such as listening to a video, hanging up your game or waiting your device to do auto work. Extinguish make it possible to running these load in more power saving way. Just clicking a floating button, your screen will turn off.
Usage:
1. Some apps couldn't playing video after the screen turn off. Extinguish makes it work.
2. Some games require you to wait in some progress. You can use Extinguish to turn off your screen and just hang up your phone aside.
3. You are noting on your pad while listening to other's talk. Now, you can bravely turn off your screen, because you can skip the lock screen and quickly go back to your note.

whenever you'll turn on the bluetooth a popup will ask you whether you intend to make your device discoverable for others,all you need to do is click yes or no on the popup and you're done

The intermediate android platforms like 2.2(froyo) and 2.3 (gingerbread) have the annoying nature of setting bluetooth discoverablity to a limited time (very short) by itself and also one has to navigate through menus to set it discoverable everytime! This is annoying!
Many of times we would turn on the bluetooth & forget to make it discoverable or it would time out
To solve this problem use this short quick little application that will prompt to turn on the dicovery mode as soon as the bluetooth is turned on. If a timout occurs it will ask if to keep it discoverable further till the user chooses no or the bluetooth is switched off
TO KEEP THE AUTOSTART WORKING THE APPLICATION MUST BE INSTALLED ON PHONE MEMORY
Installing it on SD card will prevent it from startup boot (no, it won't hamper boot time cause its too small).

1: I've only tried this on CM10.1. I'm not sure about other ROM's or stock ROM's. You test and tell me. I'll include it under "tested configs".
2: This includes installing an app on your PC and its client app on your device.
3. This is not perfect. The recording is laggy, but you can record. Isn't that enough?
4. You'll need a pc with screen recorder like camtasia recorder.

5. Then goto extras on the menu bar and select "Control Phone/Load Screen shot"
6. That's it your beautiful tegra2 device will load up on the screen. You can do whatever you like on the phone like navigating the homescreens, playing a game, listening to music etc. All that gets replicated on the PC screen.
7. The last step is using a good PC screen recorder to record the screen area currently occupied by the "Control Phone" window of the MyPhoneExlorer app.

HERE IS HOW TO USE IT
1. When the app is installed, for the first time the Settings screen will be shown. Simply press the Enable Admin Permission button and then drag the Stand by Icon from App's drawer where you want to have it. Each time you press the icon, the phone will go to standby.
2. If you want to use the Sleep Mode, go to Settings and press on the Zzzzz mode button. You can select which options to be disabled (Sound to Silent, Data Off, Wifi Off), on which interval of hours and how long the options will be displayed. If you check any of the options, next time you press the Standby icon, for a short period of time you will see 2 icons:
- the Sleep icon (with the moon) on it, if you press it, it will disable the options you have selected
- the Wake icon (with the sun) on it, if you press it, it will enable the options you have selected.
The icons are only displayed for the amount of time set by you. If you don't press any of them, the phone will go to standby as normal.

3- It will ask you a action. Available actions are:
On screen on= If screen is on ,profile will be applied.
On screen off= If screen is off ,profile will be applied.
On app launching= If you select this ,app will ask you an app. If you launch this app, profile will be applied
On battery low= If you select this, app will ask you percentagle. If battery low then this percentagle profile will be applied.
On boot complete= If phone performs a successful boot, profile will be applied.
On active= If you check the checbox on right of profile , profile will be applied.(Look step 6)
4- If you select an action enter a task name and you will go to this page.
5- Select parameters you want add to profile with checkboxs and save with floating button on the bottom.
6-Your task is ready but not activated. Just activate it with this checkbox.(And uncheck to disable task)
