Hey guys I've got a case that plugs into the USB c port of my phone to power some lights on it and there's this persistent notification that I can't seem to disable when it's plugged in. Is there any way to remove it with adb?

i use the NCleaner app and hide tons of notifications what wont turn off on their own or in the normal way

Click on the Notification Settings and turn off notifications for Android System.

I installed it on my Sensation and am able to enter power saver mode but can't come back out of it, it force closes the app when I try. Does anyone have another method to do this or maybe a different app entirely?
My goal is that when I know I'm going to be away from the house for a long time with no access to a charger, I want to already put the phone in power saver mode so I know it won't die on me while on the road.

I was wondering if there is a way to disable the pop up screen after plugging a USB cable using CM10.1
I think it used to be a simple notification icon that would allow me to activate the usb mass storage instead of that Splash Screen showing over any applications I am using.
My main issue is that my USB cable is kind of "loose" , making that screen showing on every 2sec while i'm manipulating the phone.

The annoying thing is that with Lollipop, if you set pattern or pin, you get to either show notification content or hide it. ...some of us don't want our text messages showing on like lock screen...
Now Play works well with the buttons but Spotify for example....
Good to known! Now i hope that they make the quick button in the lockscreen not like a notify but more "integrated"
Can I turn off the notification for new version inside the native email app?

Sure. One way is when an app puts up a notification, long press on the 'I', on the right side, and you will be taken to the apps screen. At the top you can select to turn off notifications.

I cannot seem to figure out whats wrong. It wont show message preview, just tells me there is a new message - sms or whatsapp. It was working fine, but I had to do full phone reset and now something is missing

You should check if you have activated the Show notification in the face recognition options.... With this, all the notifications will show only if your face was recognized...

I have face recognition disabled.
