Got my claim in at midnight last night. requested black/obsidian which I suspect will be the most popular. I just hope I don't get rose gold/white. Had a text this morning to say my claim was approved.
I chose same colour this morning at 9am
no email or text yet to confirm its accepted.
they say 60 days to get it which means sometime in January!
The Bose headphones were only 30 days last year on P6 Pro claim.
I choose hazel, same color as phone. So how long it will takes to get it. 5 days will take to approve it and up to 60 days deliver.
Put mine in just now, selected the polished silver with black band. If I end up with the Champaign Gold it won't be the end of the world as I'm likely going to give it to my wife anyway.
I've got a Huawei Watch GT2, the idea of going from a smart watch with 10+ days battery life to one with 2 days maximum likely won't work for me, extra features or not. The Huwaei does what I need from a smart watch.
I'm using Ticwatch 3 Pro Lte. It works perfect two days. But sure if I can get Pixel Watch why not. I'm thinking to give my girlfriend. Maybe I'll love it and I'll use it.
One concern I have is that I purchased from somewhere that doesn't have their emblem on the receipt, which the claim page said was needed. So I made a screenshot of the order, then copy and pasted the emblem onto it before printing it as a PDF and uploading it.
Hopefully they don't refuse it as a result of that but I'm not sure what else they expect.

"Within The Next 60 days" is the actual wording. So assuming it's approved, it's likely to be well before January, especially as the claim has been uploaded the first day of the window.
Mine came with the phone and i sold it the next day, as beautiful as it was my Fitbit goes for 8 days and i would rather have the long charge.
Took the in ears and sold for 150€ because I have the smartwatch from Samsung and am very satisfied
Where to write about the lack of a watch?

Agreed, and it said up to 5 days for the confirmation but it was 9.5 hours. Fingers crossed 60 days is to give them breathing space and having got in early I've given them as much scope as possible to get my preferred colour out sooner. Time will tell.

Did you order from a participating retailer within the period to get the watch? 3-17 Oct, if I remember correctly? If so, you should have received instructions from the retailer.
If you do qualify you can claim here...
Pixel 7/7 Pro Launch GWP
Only selected retailers were part of the promotion. So assuming you bought the phone between the 6th and the 17th of October, and you didn't purchase direct from Google (as you got the watch with the phone if you did), you need to check the list of retailers at https://promo-rewards.com/2022launch/en-GB/qualifying
Not on there, no watch.

It doesn't say it has to have the logo, just that it must show the retailer. I screenshot an email from ee with no logo visible and it was accepted with no problem.

It didn't show the retailer in any way, so the emblem being added should cover it.

No, what I mean is the order receipt when I go to the account on the retailer's website doesn't say the name of the retailer on it or show the emblem, so I've added it. And yup, it was one of those on the list.
My wife will have the confirmation email from my order on the 13th of October, so if Google come back and ask for more info, I'll just send them that.

Cool. I've been in similar promos where they tried to catch people out, void a claim, and offer no 2nd chance or conversation but I notice it said they'd come back if they need more info so seems like a more genuine promo.

Comet now have these in stock for dispatch, i just ordered mine for tomorrow and have received a confirmation of delivery email (if that means anything)
Fingers crossed here's hoping

Thanks for the pointer I've ordered one too but I'm not over-confident I will have a TF in my hot hands by Friday somehow. It seems odd that neither Ebuyer or Amazon for example have stocks, and I seem to recall Comet as being optimistic regarding stocks of the (minus dock) TF's too.
Actually reading all the tales of woe re screen bleed, troublesome docks etc, I wonder if I've made a wise decision but life's too short and I've taken a chance
Comet can have these bundles within 2 weeks. Thanks to a contact in comet

Think positive!
I emailed them yesterday with that same question 'how come you get yours in stock and amazon say june 1st'? They emailed me back this morning saying they were due in today so i've been watching the website all morning waiting for it to be updated, when i saw it i rang them to confirm and gave them my details, they then rang back to confirm delivery tomorrow by parcel force for which i paid an extra £5.60
If they don't turn up a local store is going to get a brick through it's window

I went into my local store Saturday and the guy checked stock at the CDC which said delivery due 10th. I went in after work today and it was right they got them ready to be sent out so ordered one for in-store collection and picking it up Friday if you don't want to order online go in and do what I did. I only paid £399 as I took out the extra care so did me a deal so all in I only actually paid £485 with the service plan as I got 10% off buying vouchers through my work I'm a happy boy lol
Just ordered the bundle as well. I hope the keyboard will come with the US layout like on the pictures and not the UK layout.
Due in on Friday!
I received my Transformer from Comet yesterday, when I ordered it on Monday they told me they had 78 in stock.

I did, i bought one a month ago when they first became available, but no scrollable widgets or browsers worked so i sold it again, (paid £375 sold for £440)
My new one with keyboard arrived today, so no bricks will be thrown, (at least not at comet)

I ordered my bundle on the 4th April and Comet have had my money since then. To hear that someone who ordered YESTERDAY received theirs instantly is just infuriating.

When i had mine a month ago all i had was the slate, they didn't get any stock of keyboards until yesterday and i was straight on the phone.
Just ring up the service centre direct 0844 800 95 95, all a store will do is give you some BS about availability
The keyboard is awesome, increases productivy a 1000 percent, the keys have a really good feel, and the touchpad is very fast, haven't worked out how to adjust speed.
Been using it for about five hours with general use, setting up ADW EX, a bit of youtube, web browsing, emails, and it's only gone down 15 percent!
Well indeed I should have had more faith my order arrived this morning as promised Must admit I was surprised when just one box arrived as I've always seen the pad and dock in two separate boxes but sure enough they were both inside.
No juice at all in the pad though some in the dock just a quick look and no sign of back-light bleed (with the start-up dark background).
Must say I love the look of the TF and dock, feels solid and well made
Damn the long initial charge time I want to play with my new toy
Took delivery of mine today from Comet, plugged in an power on BAM! Screen bleed!! All edges are corners, pretty bad. Went to my local store to return and refund and they have awful customer service. They treated me as if I was lying "oh I dont see a problem", well its not you who purchased it?
Anyway got a refund in the end. Having now had 2 faulty Asus transformers and 7 faulty iPads I think its time I walk away from tablets.....
I now have my bundle in hand after picking it up from Comet and its amazing can't believe how small the box was with both in I had to ask if both were there lol I also picked up a nice bag for it which I'm happy about.

Are you in the UK at the moment? I'm currently in the US and will have my keyboard delivered next Wednesday (US Layout)...I then return to the UK on Saturday. Would you be interested in a swap? I'm not overly bothered about having a US keyboard but a UK layout would be a bonus.

Hi all
Anyone pre-ordered from CW yet?
what did you get and when do you think it will be shipped
Cannot remember if last year they were OK or not at shipping them ahead of others
Also are there some freebies with these orders?
I tried to pre-order....THREE times. First time, 2 hours later got an email back saying they could not proceed and had cancelled the order (no epxlanation). Second time got an email back an hour later saying they had cancelled it again, due to an "information mismatch". Rang them up to find out what the hell they were playing at, got through to sales who couldnt tell me why they had cancelled it so they passed me on to the "web team", who couldnt tell me anything at all, and passed me on to customer services.....who cut me off. I tried one final time to order it, this time got a reply an hour later again saying that it had been cancelled again, due to me failing a credit check, and telling me to check with the network I had selected......I had not selected any network since I was buying the handset only, there was no requirement for any kind of credit check, and if they HAD done a credit check then it would have come back as perfect. At this point I went to John Lewis website instead and ordered it fine first time. I will lose the crappy £99 speaker that was gonna go straight on ebay anyway, but it'll be worth it not to have to deal with the CPW muppets ever again.
I wasn't sure who to go with as I wanted to make sure delivery was on 20th since I will be at home that day and I figured CPW would have the most stock plus the free speaker. But then they will probably also have the most orders. John Lewis isn't a place people would normally think of buying a mobile from (I was surprised to even see it listed!) so I'm hoping they have enough stock and reliable enough delivery to get it to me on time. My order confirmation shows the delivery date, the CPW confirmation only said "current" delivery date which didn't sound very definite to me!
Ordered instore at CPW inside Curry's Bolton today. Black S8 (SimFree). Took 10 mins, collect from store on the 20th & get a free Samsung speaker
Same. Ordered instore in Market Harborough CPW for delivery to store on 20th. The free Samsung speaker looks rather nice and is waterproof to match the phone. I'll be using that in my bathroom. They had both S8 models to play with - full working units, not dummies. Very nice indeed! Went for the S8 - it's plenty big enough!

Indeed. I was amazed at how the plus just doesn't look huge as I imagined it would. I wasn't actually intending to order - I bought a Google Pixel a week ago but was very disappointed as the lens flare I got in several photos over the weekend. CPW accepted the return and I paid the extra for the S8. Now having to use my old Nexus 5 for a couple of weeks.

Good to know the returns policy works. Just hope rooting is possible and the custom rom scene is good enough on the S8. (had Nexus devices since the GNex & really going to miss crack flashing).....
I had a Galaxy S7 before the Pixel. I didn't do any custom roms or anything, but did flash firmware on a couple of occasions. TouchWiz (or whatever they call it now) is not an issue any more - I put Nova Launcher on it and to me it looks just like stock Android. The photos I took on the S7 pleased me more than those I took on the Pixel, so I have high hopes for the tweaked camera algorithms on the S8.

It's actually not the same sensor either ,it's the same specs but a new one that no other phone uses. I'm sure it will be better in many scenarios with the improved processing and new features and will probably knock the Pixel from 1st place on dxomark. I can't wait to do some testing once I get it.
I can't wait for the 20th and my new phone! I pre-ordered it from CPW on Saturday.

I've had this from Carphone Warehouse several times in the past. I can almost guarantee that if I order anything online from them the payment will be rejected and I will have to contact them, then my bank to get it sorted. I don't know what they do, but I never have issues like this with any other company. When I check my credit reference no search is visible from them and, as you say, there is no reason to refer to a credit reference to buy a phone SIM free!

I didnt order from Samsung because when I went there to check on Sat, it was saying deliver by 28th and didn't even mention getting it earlier via pre-order so I assume they had already sold out of the pre-order ones. I think years ago when I was going to pre-order something from Samsung it turned out that they didn't have enough stock to fill it, and other places like CPW did, so I ended up having to cancel it and get it elsewhere to avoid delays. You would think Samsung themselves would have the most stock but that wasn't the case back then so i haven't ordered direct from them since.
CPW are clearly too incompetent to get their own website to work properly, and too incompetent to be able to deal with it when it doesn't work, so hopefully John Lewis can deliver instead.

I like you guys LOVE the phone and want to upgrade. 2 things have stopped me, 1 = is what the battery life is going to be like, 2 = and most importantly is because UK is getting screwed again with crap deals, US are getting memory or VR etc and silver colors etc, UK are not getting anything other then maybe insurance or £50 speaker which not all of us want.
Slowly tempted to wait for better deals but look forward to your reviews, Enjoy your new slick phones!!

Depends what you want. I'd much rather have the speaker than a VR headset or a memory card!
I'm not sure the UK is getting screwed - the S8 launches here at the same time as the States. There are many countries that don't see phone releases until much later after launch. We generally get them pretty quickly.

Yup battery life worries me too but I have not found another device that I would be willing to go for and my S5 is getting on a bit so I need to upgrade.
UK being screwed is nothing new. We get screwed on price and screwed on deals for just about everything. Now they are using brexit as an excuse to stick the prices up on everything when we were already paying far more than the exchange rate says we should have been paying in the first place! They have all just spotted an opportunity to increase their profits by a big chunk and hide it as being brexit. And Samsung themselves can keep whacking up prices all over the world because they dont really have any serious competition at the top end, otherwise they wouldn't be able to.

Who has had to do a replacement? Samsung is telling me that I have to send in my $350 watch and wait for a couple weeks (at best) for them to fix it and send it back. Has anyone that's done this had a similar experience? Can I get them to send a replacement and me send this one back? To me, this is completely unacceptable. I've never had to send back an expensive piece of tech and wait for them to fix THEIR problem.
Nope that's not how it generally works. I've had several electronic items repaired under warranty before from different companies and they always require you to send it in for repair. They will then repair it and send back the original item instead of a new one. The only time complete replacement no questions asked happens is when the store you bought it from agrees to replace it and deals with the OEM themselves afterwards.
I had battery issues on my bluetooth Gear S3 Frontier (India) & had to take it to the service center where they basically replaced the battery & then the motherboard to fix the issue. I kinda ended up with a new watch in the same old body. The whole process took 31 days. No problems since except still waiting for Tizen 3.0 update.
Boo... Yeah, I guess the only devices I have had mess up on me are phones, and whatever carrier I had at that time just sends a new/refurbished one. Good to know.
Sending mine in tomorrow... Tizen 3 started causing overheats and it won't fully charge either. I bought an LG Watch Sport to test in the meantime . Might be time to say bye to Sammy watches. If I can stay away from this beautiful watch and its UI.
Warranty Replacement
Someone asked if anyone had done a warranty replacement. I actually did mine today. For those that have followed my posts, my S3 Frontier watch did a Tizen 3 update which completely screwed my Bluetooth and Wireless which rendered the watch useless with a phone as it could not connect. Having phoned Samsung Customer Services, they were very prompt. They arranged to pick my watch up today, and the provided all the packaging. All I had to do was hand the watch to the UPS rep. They had a fancy box which protects the watch.....gave me a receipt, and told me I would have it back next week. I am impressed so far by their customer service. I will let you know how long it takes before I get it back.

I had the exact same repair. Too bad Samsung just doesn't take responsibility and notify all users of the widespread problems and offer the repair/replacement.
Warranty Replacement for Gear S3 Frontier
It does NOT matter where you bought your watch at all. The S3 has 2 years manufacturers warranty on it, which covers ALL OTA updates, as they are responsible for the updates.

Thanks for this information as I was not aware that it worked that way... I always try and buy direct from SAMSUNG but in this case I purchased from Verizon as they had one in stock.
Take Care

I'm still not happy with Samsung for pushing out updates (and not pulling them) that are having ill effect on people's watches. However, I have to say, they really tried hard to redeem themselves with my watch repair. I read on here somewhere that some people's watches were taking weeks to get fixed and sent back. Mine was back in my hands in 5 days. AND, they replaced the entire case except for the bottom plate for some reason. Which means I have a brand new looking watch. And I had a few scratches on it too, a couple bad ones even. I'm seriously very happy right now. I even bought an LG watch sport that was probably going to replace my frontier, and it's going back. At least Sammy is trying here.
My BT Frontier went into a reboot/freeze loop on January 5. I called the warranty department and received a ticket # on the 7th. Shipped back on the 8th. Received notification that Samsung received it on the 10th (which stated I should have it back in 5 business days). Received another notification on the 10th stating that my repair was on "temporary hold due to an unavailable part". I have not received any further updates since then. I sent an email yesterday inquiring as to status, since I hadn't heard anything in 8 days regarding a repair that was originally scheduled for five days. No answer on that yet. I guess I'll call today. So far I've been without a $350 watch for almost two weeks and have no idea when I'll get it back.
Well, after 3 successful nights in a row of charging without a problem, nor any overheats, it's doing it again... Real effing nice... I'm going to try the shutting it off before charging then seeing if it stops overheating like a couple people have reported. Otherwise, I guess I have to send it back again... All because of an update. Samsung needs to get it together!

I called on Friday to ask about the status of my repair and was told that the repair was on hold because a replacement part was not available. So they offered me a full refund of the original purchase price (purchased through Samsung), which I accepted.
Seems odd but I guess it's easier for them to issue a refund check than to send a new Gear.

Wow, I am shocked that they did not offer to replace the watch? Did you ask if that was an option? Maybe the Gear 4 is close and they do not have enough any additional inventory on the 3 ??

It seemed strange, but I didn't ask about a replacement because the refund seemed like a better option. I took the money and bought a brand-new one (instead of potentially getting a refurbished replacement unit) and I have a new purchase transaction so my warranty period starts over with the new one (a replacement would have still been subject to the original purchase warranty period). Win-win.

How long did it take for you to get refunded and in what way were you refunded? My current status for my watch says Cancel and states refund for the last 3 or 4 days but I've received no communication from Samsung about anything at this point..

Wow, that's awesome! I'm surprised too at that. I would think it would cost them less to send a refurbished/whatever unit. Hopefully they'll do something surprising for me too. My watch is still overheating and not fully charging after already sending it in to be fixed...

I had to call and ask. My repair status was still "on hold" pending a replacement part. When I called, they said I was approved for the refund because they didn't have a part available. Then they gave me a confirmation number and ended the call. I thought I would get an email after that, or something with further instructions or information. After a few hours of nothing, I called back, and was told that refunds are processed through a different department, and then they transferred my call to the separate department which sounded like it might be at a completely different call center. That person verified my address information, and verified that I was consenting to accept the refund. She then said it would be 7-10 days to process and deliver.
In all honesty, I don't actually have the refund check in hand yet but didn't want to wait another 7-10 days without a watch so I just went ahead and got one in anticipation of the money.
Hope that helps. Not sure if that was my experience just b/c I bought the original direct from Samsung or if that's their procedure for all refunds.

Yea, I just called over and did the same thing. It seems like they weren't going to reach out to let you know you had to call and accept the refund before they would do anything. No phone call, no email.
So I bit the bullet and decided to wrap the Note9 and found that only SlickWraps lets you buy wraps for the sides of the phone. So went ahead and ordered them on the 8th of this month.
At this point the order has not changed status at all. They are also not responding to any customer tickets. Nothing, it's like there's no one home.
I was wondering if anyone else got anything from them, and if you did, how long did it take you to get it?
They are SLOW during their sales. I too bought 3 skins this time during their 70% off sale. The last time I bought during a sale, I didn't receive my items for 3 weeks. I emailed them and like you got nothing for a while. Eventually they did let me know that during and after a site sale their shipping and email response times are longer than usual. Hope this helps.
I should have learned my lesson from last time this big sale happened. My order that was placed on the 8th is still waiting to be arrived at a USPS facility. Label created only. My second order placed the on the 9th still has no shipping label created.
This will be the last time I order from them at all. Sale or no sale. They don't even respond to emails. Small operations. Mom and pop-like operation from the looks of how they're running things. Dbrand is not much better than them in this regard. I think skins are dead to me because of the selling experience as a whole.

Least you got some movement. I'm still in processing. And I completely agree with you, this makes me never want to buy a skin again.
I should have learned my lesson the first time.
I ordered some during the holiday season and like another user stated took about 3 weeks to get to me. Understandable during the holidays. Now I have placed an order and have not heard anything for over a week.
Last time I order from them. I could care less they are made in the USA. Make them in China and ship them out sooner.
I ordered mine on the 5th of this month and is still processing. I emailed them and 3-4 days later they emailed me back stating that during their sales they get behind but assure me that once my order is complete I will receive a tracking number. Going on 2 weeks already.
Very annoying. Last time I ordered, took 4 days to receive item. I think this will be the last time I order from SW

Not in the US so my usual shipping is 2 weeks if I order from them. Currently waiting for 2 orders. First order made March 17. Second order made March 29. Guess what? My March 29 order got tagged as shipped last April 3. March 17 order? Got tagged as shipped last April 17. The problem is I still order from them. Oh well. I'll just have to wait, i guess.

I ordered a gray and pink 256mb flip 3s on 8/13. A few weeks ago got an email stating a 30 day delay which I read was more that the phones haven't shipped yet and its been 30 days.
My estimated delivery has always been 9/21. Well I just got a new email stating phones are delayed with no new shipping date available. My 9/21 date is now gone from my app and only shows order date of 8/13.
Anyone else get delayed? I kind of wish I got the black and just skinned it to change up colors.
That's strange. What market are you in? I ordered the 256gb gray one on the 15/08. Received it on the 10/09. I'm in the UK.
A 30 day delay could mean the beginning of October (~ 10/8). Typically, they mean business days.
The release was 8/27, so the actual order date only matters for your place in line when they become available. The estimate also relies on every shipment being as large or larger than predicted.
Realistically, I ordered a (whatever) white Note 20 Ultra that looked really nice the whole four times I saw it without a case. One of those times was when taking it to be repaired because the adhesive under the glass magically began to peel and the other was when I sent it in for a trade-in. I got black this time.
I ordered mine on the 16/9, and it arrived on 17/9... I didn't even know stock shortages were a thing for this phone.
Of course they added the 'free watch' offer on the 17th, so I'm now having to go through the process of returning this day-old phone and ordering a new on just so I can get the offer, and there's probably going to be a shortage now..
I'm in Egypt. I ordered my phone from Samsung on 15/08 and was supposed to be delivered by the 7th of September. My phone was delayed for a week, then, Samsung decided to ship the phone without the gift leather case and without the 1-year accidental screen damage replacement card.
They sent an email stating that the gifts will be delayed for two weeks, however I received my phone yesterday.

California, USA. Maybe has to do with the pink color delayed.

What carrier was offering the free watch?
Update this morning. Order when from customizing to created and cancel button gone. Now 10 minutes later order is now "in process". Might be getting soon?!
And its shipped! Just got notification earlier this evening. Will be here in 2 days. Very excited.
Well...2day via fedex is a bust. "Potentially delayed" and stuck at the local fedex about an hour away...was suppose to arrive yesterday, no new delivery date posted. Samsung did offer an additional 5% off order once it delivers so that is good.
I've had 10 delays from this same fedex in the past, one being a month long fiasco. So I am not expecting my flip 3's anytime soon.
Worst case scenario I will just pick up the black flips at best buy or tmobile next week and call it a day.
I picked up the black one in store.
