Currently stock and "up-to-date".
I've tried a few different versions of ODIN and TWRP. Odin starts but never proceeds to finish. I've let it go for an hour even though I know it shouldn't take that long for an 8 MB file. Task manager has ODIN at 0% CPU usage. IDK what to try.

edit:
Solved - For future peoples with similar issues. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Samsung Drivers and tried several different USB ports. Eventually it worked. TWRP installed with ODIN, flashed LineageOS with TWRP. Good Luck.
Yep known solutions .
Samsung Drivers .USB port and non Samsung USB cable for that problem

Hey there.
So I've got this galaxy S6 (SM-G920F) which had some weird graphical glitches. Tried to update the firmware with Samsung Switch. Shortly before it was done it failed. Since then the only thing the phone reacts to is the download mode.

Looks like this, (definitely is the download mode though, half the screen worked for a moment) which is similar with the graphical glitches I mentioned. Is this even software related?
I tried Odin to no avail. Stops after starting NAND write. This might be caused by the wrong rom though, I'm downloading others to test it. Will update (with the messages Odin gives) after I tested an other rom.
What do you mean by "stops"?
Lag? Or fail?
It's known that your phone will not allow any kind of downgrading.
You should flash a firmware that's higher - or at least the same - than what you already had.
Use latest Odin.
My Device:

The package I'm using:

My Story:
Hey, I'm trying to root this phone, and nothing I've tried is working.
I've tried Kingoapp, One Click Root, and now I've tried the CF-Auto-Root Odin solution.
I'm in the proper Odin mode, on my phone, and I've even installed the Android SDK with the Google USB Driver.
My phone is definitely connecting to my PC, and is being detected by the Odin software.
My cables have been swapped, and various USB ports have been tried.
At this point, I don't know what else to do.
Screenshot attached, below, and advice is appreciated. Thanks, guys!

Hi, several months ago I believe I tried to root my OnePlus 6 and it resulted in some kind of brick.
When i power on the device it shows the OxygenOS loading animation for several minutes and restarts multiple times. Then it boots into some empty android menu (usually a black screen with the power options when i hold the power button)

What kind of brick is this, is there a guide to fix ? Thanks
Got it working back on stock now.
eventually got into fastboot, unfortunately my pc didnt pick up the device. USB issues are a pain. roommates PC booted TWRP on the phone after a few attempts and we got it installed. Sideloaded stock image (overwriting custom recovery) and it booted setup just fine. testing it out now.
I have a Samsung Note 10 (N971N) which was rooted and on Android 10. I flashed TWRP but it didn't work and I don't exactly remember what I did because my phone has been down since the past 36 hours. I've tried everything, downloaded and flashed 3-4 stock firmware for my phone but nothing seems to work. My phone automatically boots to this screen that is shown in the picture. I've tried connecting it on Smart Switch as well as it says on the screen (in Korean) but that doesn't work either. Whichever firmware/recovery I flash using Odin, it gets stuck on Recovery.
I've tried flashing HOME_CSC and CSC both but nothing works. I was trying to save my data but now I just want to get my phone back up again. Googled and found nothing useful, would really appreciate some help!
At the top it says:
VOLTAGE LEVEL (4148)
SECURE CHECK FAIL : (PIT)
