I have an OP9 with T-mobile variant. I was curious if I change it to global and replaced it with a dual sim tray.
Does it work or does anyone succeed?
Thank you.

It has to be tested in real phone. It could be that T-mobile has disabled it so it still has dual sim support from factory, like SS
My understanding is the USA global and tmobile don't have the pins to read from sim 2
Then why is there any dual sim bug after converting
I waste months on this $hit
And i giveup you can try it maybe you can

What MrSteelX is saying is if the software you flashed to your phone is the India version or the EU version your phone will think it is the India or EU model of the phone and those phones have dual sim. This causes the issue. You need to flash your phone back to the TMobile software or the global software.
It doesn't matter what method you used to do this it's the software you put on the phone that is making it think it is dual sim and causing your issue.

Every version you listed with the exception of c.63 is for either the EU hardware or the India hardware.
c.63 might be for global but I'm not sure. The problem here is you've converted your phone to EU/India. If you're rooted there are some fixes you can flash via magisk otherwise flash the tmobile software back to the phone.
I'm using a North American TMobile OnePlus9 myself and it says its up to date at version c.20 and I'm not getting the dual sim issue so I would suggest finding c.20 and flashing that to the phone.

Hi guys !
Is it possible to convert the global version to a dual sim if you get like the dual sim tray from the chinese version and put it inside the global phone and work with both sims?
Or you need other things like a custom rom that enables the 2nd sim? I find it very curious why they opted for the single sim tray for the global version considering that i don't think they did any modification under the hood of the phone.
For me it's horrible going from a dual sim phone to a single sim considering that most of the people have one personal sim and one for work

It would be very interesting if someone managed to try the chinese version's sim tray because it looks like the hw is all there
I wonder if it could be this easy tho
Someone one the Mi 10 forum just tried and didn't work, at least with the global ROM. Maybe with the xiaomi.eu ROM......
check the global version from hong kong which seems to have enabled dual sim but check if the network bands are compatible in your country.
Check here -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-mi-10-pro/help/to-xiaomi-mi-10-pro-global-version-t4077141
It's Global version with DUAL SIM.
You're welcome
What do you mean Global Version dual sim?
With the Hong Kong Mi10 Pro, if i slot the 2nd sim in, will the phone really become dual sim?

Why not buying Chinese version and flash xiaomi.eu rom
if buying a china phone and flash it with Europe rom, will the phone be dual sim?
Yes but you won't have all of the 4g bands needed for Europe

If flash it will Europe ROM, will the phone need to be rooted? i worry after flashing, i wont pass Android Safetynet Test... thus cannot use Google Pay.

no need to root but you have to settle with unlocked bootloader
An Stupid move from Xiaomi, not just sell the Global version with higher price, but to release it with one sim slot! After 8 year with Xiaomi, I'm moving to ONEPLUS 8 Pro. I'm so upset because of that, have to sell my others Xiaomi gadgets! But i will do that because they proved so many times that don't care about customers opinion! China, the b a s t a r ds that spread a virus and earn money from it !

There wont be any problems because his post was false. You keep your safetynet status and widevine L1 if you flash the eu rom. Everything is working.
Also, to finally answer the question: Someone on the german forum "android-hilfe" flashed the EU Rom on his Global mi 10 pro, and automatically got 2 IMEI numbers assigned. It looks like everyone should be able to just flash the eu rom and use the dual sim feature, even if you have the global variant.

I stand corrected.. My worry is if I have an unlocked bootloader, some function will not work like safetynet, etc.. I don't really care about root anymore, I just don't wanna break anything om the phone. By the way, great to learn that CN version can be flashed with eu rom without a problem. same goes for global version to enable dual sim.

Everything works with unlocked bootloader, obviously I don't try you're banking app, gpay working fine on EU, so basically someone needs to buy a dual SIM tray and see if it works? I'm on Chinese version
I'm waiting for the double tray to arrive and I'll try the European rum. If it does not work, I will flash Xiaomi.eu rom. I have this setting in my Mi10 with stock rom. This is single sim version.

Dude if there is a 5g sim inserted, it'll be detected. You currently do not have any service provider offering 5g in India.

If you still want to convert you can simply flash the global variant via the Local upgrade feature from the System update settings. Get the full ROM via Oxygen updater. Peace Out

I can charge Oxygen LE2115 with EU LE2113 and have dual SIM?

Did you founded solution?
Your model have two physical slots for two sims? If not how do you expect that a software modification will make it possible?
I would like to know if this is possible as well. Everything I have tried so far, tells me what I'm flashing doesn't match the device.

You have to have root to fix it and you have to keep root, there's no other way. This fix was able to get my LE2115 data when I flashed it to ColorOS.
I ended up trading in my LE2115 for a LE2110, which was shipped flashed with Indian firmware for the dual-SIM.
My LE2110 has both T-Mobile and Verizon ("US Mobile" MVNO) SIMs, both 5G and VoLTE. Speeds aren't as great as US-variant phones, due to using more congested bands.

My Mi 12 came with a custom ROM by carrier and the SIM 2 was deactivated. Will a firmware flash with a global version fix this or is there another way to enable it? Perhaps some service codes will do it?
It comes with 13.0.4.0 (SLCLMCR). Model is 2201123G

This phone works with 2 sims, see for the warranty.
It's already a global rom but modified by the provider who will limit the use to one sim, seems strange.
Check that there are 2 IMEI numbers.

if it's snapdragon, then you can try to enable CA using unlock band guide available in S22 forums.
If you are not able to access service menu, you can get it using Samsung Shell Exploit forums in S22.
Using jio and using 5g on it
