how can I view the password that I had entered on my tablet it won't allow me too see it
not quite sure what you mean. can you try to explain a little better
Are you trying too see it as you type or are you trying to remember what pw you used?
If you're rooted you can use wifi key recovery. It will show you all the infos for that network
Sorry double post
I just received my Moto G 16GB. The phone is grate. But I have two main issues that just makes the phone useless.
1) I can't seem to find a File Manager. When I connect the phone to PC via USB cable, I can see a list of folders like audio, video, download, Android, etc.. But in the phone I don't know how to access them. Below are the only apps I have on my Moto G.
Screen 1: see attachment screen1
Screen 2: see attachment screen 2
2) My office wifi has a security setting in which I have to enter both my username and password to connect. When I connect my Moto G to the office wifi network, it asks for the username and I can enter it. But the password field is shown only half. I can't enter the password. See the image. I can't scroll down. Please help with these issues.

Congrats @arkkrish for getting Moto G, i also got new MG
to access files from phone you need file manager like ES File Explorer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop&hl=en
for password entry issue you minimize the keyboard by touching \/ navigation button
and point the cursor to password entry field. this should work.

I did... but, not working.
I finally enabled 3G data and downloaded the wifi manager app. I can now connect through this app. (I can enter both username and password in this app. But not through Settings.
I resolved it with Add New Network.

I too had the same problem. On top of this, the phone was getting wrong security type for the wi-fi network. I just resolved it by using "add new network" + sign option on the network list screen. I gave the same network name and selected correct security type and other details. It connected just fine. Luckily I have done this kind of act on my home wi-fi for some computer devices, so it came handy.
Hope this helps

I solved this way:
- Provide some data, click on connect
- While it tries to connect, long tap on the network name, then select Modify
There you will have all the input fields you need. Needs a bit of patience though, because the faulty screen will pop up several times, if you click Connect on it you can continue to add your info.

Tried it. Didn't work. I long tapped on the network name and selected Modify Network. But there is no password field. There was an 'Show Advanced Option' checkbox though. When I selected it, two more settings were made visible - Proxy and IP settings. No Password field.

Hey Sacob;58210707,
I have about the same problem as Chrome cant fine the https://www.192.168.1.xxx:8890 (where xxx is my private 3
digit number.)
Have you tried the https://www.192.168.1.xxx:8890 (replace the xxx with your 3 digit numer before the 8890) listed on the page after Activate "FIND" page?
Should be done ONCE, and NOT popping up every time we login to airdroid.
And . . .
Can't connect via USB which would be the BEST of the ways to connect to Airdroid in the first place since we
1. wouldn't be transferring in the net using up battery that WIFI uses on both devices, android and pc.
and
2. Would be charging our phones, which is super biggy plus.
And. . .
When airdroid downloaded its very own new update today, it said that it couldn't install because of parsing something.
Ain't that a hoot?
And. . .
When I went on airdroid.com> signed in> and finally found an Icon called "Widgets" it went to a calendar and NO, (that is absolutely no,) way to get out of the calendar page,
Even frantically tapping the big "" X "" on the lower left of their "calendar" page.
Ctrl with Arrow Back didn't work either cause some web builder thought that key combo should be shut OFF.
So I had to completely log out and log back in, (username and password again,) to go to the page the mean little "Widgets" Icon was located.
So.. . . to sum up . .
The ONLY thing that works on this app, so far, is that I can use ONLY, is the on-board Android "Apps" part on my S3 itself, and NO way to communicate with my pc.
Which by the way was handled greatly with any Android File managers.
Where do we find support?
Thanks for this topic!
I am trying to connect my Nexus 5 to my car (Volkswagen CC). I simply need to use the password 0000. However, before I have time to enter the password the password dialog on my phone disappears and then the connection ultimately fails due to incorrect password. The same thing happens when I try to connect to a controller that requires a passcode. It's like the Nexus 5 decides to skip the passcode part and close that window before even allowing me to enter a single digit.
Is there a different way to force the phone to enter a passcode or have it respond with a default passcode before attempting to pair?
I am running the stock rooted 5.1.1. rom. I tried it with my Wife's Note 4 and, no surprise to me, it works. The passcode window stays up and I can enter the 0000 passcode.
Well you don't want to hear this but I have the same problem with a nexus 6 and rooted 5.1.1 rom.
I fixed this by booting up in safe mode.
I could then connect the bluetooth device, enter password and presto .
When you reboot again in normal mode the bluetooth connection is still there and you can start using it.
Get to safe mode by pressing off button. Then long press on shut down action and you can select to restart in safe mode.
Apparently it was some app doing this. Safe mode does not load any third party apps.
my phone is Samsung note-9 i want find my phones lock screen password . i need it because my dad put the password now. i don't know the password but he opens the lock for sending mail and all. is there anyway to find using locksettings.db or files like that?
