Hi Everyone,
I've created this thread that will not only gather, but also help with answers to various problems that Google Pixel 7 Pro owners may have.
If your problem can be solved here, feel free to post it here and xda members may be able to provide a solution for you and others.
PLEASE SEARCH AND READ BEFORE TO POST EVERYWHERE, FOR A BETTER HELP. THANKS

I am confused as to where requests for assistance should be posted. Do I see a forum -- and a subforum?
We have XDA Assist, which is unlocked to new posts, and then we have Post New Thread, also unlocked and accepting new posts.
I read the documentation for the main forum, and thought I'd post my assistance request there. I only saw there was another area after I posted in the first area.
Or does it make no difference? Sorry, but if this information is already available, somewhere, please give me a link. Couldn't find it!
It depends on your problem. The nature of XDA Assist is to help users in looking for the right place for their issue. For Ex. for your phone, we do not have a Sub Forum Defined. So you'd go to
> Android Development and Hacking
forum. Within it, you can either post in Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting if you have a problem you can't solve. Other wise if its a general discussion on the phone, you can post in Android General
Does that make sense ?
Question that started this thread is answered, may be closed.

Well ... still confused.
Maybe the threads XDA Assist and Post New Thread, are in fact one and the same?
They seemed to be separate, but perhaps I should take note of the first few posts in each, and see if they're the same?
Anyway, I posted in the XDA Assist thread, and it seems to be working -- I see my other post has one reply.
No one else seems confused, so I guess it's just me. :silly:
Different question from different thread answered, both threads may be closed.
So, I'll go to --
> Android Development and Hacking
and then, since it's not a problem needing troubleshooting but just something general on how Android works (I doubt it's phone specific) I think I'll put it into 'Android General'.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! And the instructions for this forum say the moderator will close the thread when the advice has been given, so please feel free to do so, now.
As per title. Just updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Can't find the relevant security setting.

I recommend to register on xda and post this in the [HELP THREAD] HTC One M8 - Ask any questions here! thread.
There are many experienced users having the same device like you, who can give proper help and best advices.
Thread closed. Thank you.
I am able to view website content but not on my Blu Studio 7. It's almost like there is a parental control, but none is installed. I looked thru every setting: phone, internet, google, youtube. Don't know how to do it. Please help.. Thanks.

I have a few questions regarding a specific device, and I'm not quite sure where here on XDA to ask them.
** Info on the device I'm looking for information on, and my current findings:
he Samsung Galaxy J3 through Virgin Mobile. I saw the J5 and J7 but haven't seen anything about the J3. It says it came out this year, so perhaps there isn't yet a dedicated section to it. I would like to know where I should ask questions about this device, if possible, as I'm considering upgrading to it from my HTC Desire 510 (currently rooted, thanks to XDA and a friend of mine helping me learn along the way) and as I want to make sure I can root my next phone (without having to shell out $400 for a galaxy s5) it's part of my research to see if there is support here, on XDA.
I apologize if this isn't the proper forum to place this question, I'm very, very much a noob regarding forum etiquette in general. Point me in the right direction and off I'll fly!

Hello guys,
this is my first post on the forum, so forgive me for any signs of ignorance. I did my best to search the forum both in the devices and roms sections before posting this thread.
Here's the thing! I'm having trouble finding any ROMs for my device. I'm using a Huawei Y540-U01, currently running Android 4.4.2, rooted.
I wanted to go at least Android 5.0 but I'm so tired of bugs and problems with my phone that anything is fine for me at this point.
Can you point me where to look? Is there anything I can do if there are no roms for my specific model?
Sorry if the question has already appeared somewhere but I can barely find anything on my phone at all, it appears to be extremely unpopular for some reason...
Cheers in advance!
