i purchased poco x3 pro back in 2021 oct 12. recently, its battery charging feature slowed down abnormally. it barely recives 1 amp with bundled charger or any charger. fast charging is not working at all. because i was using LineageOS and NoGravityKernel, i suspected it was software issue. but after i clean flashed stock MIUI, charging was still slow. i assume it is a hardware issue. did anyone experienced this issue like me? please share your thoughts.

Maybe charger issue? Wore down charging port? Try different charger.

Have you tried measuring how fast it charges when turned off or in recovery mode?

Update: i somehow achived 10W with QC charger. 9V mode seems okay, but 5V charging is still abnormal.

impossible run out of battery, i just fully charge and shut down, after a few hours turn in on, it already cannot on and show me battery icon, now i try use power plug to charge it also show me battery icon and cannot on also
Sounds like your charging adapter, the wall part, is broken. This happend to me a couple weeks ago. This may sound weird but try this to see if that is the problem. get a ziplog bag. Take apart the two peices of the charging adapter, put it in the ziplog bag, and put it in the freeezer for a few minutes. Then take it out and plug it back in, and see if your tablet will charge. If not i think something is wrong with your tablet.

This is the first time I've heard about this and it pretty much looks like a cheap chinese product.. Might even damage the Nexus 5.
In my experience...

I wouldn't buy it. If you need more battery, check out Anker portable chargers. I haven't had a problem with mine after a year.

This one is very slim you can have it plugged in pocket with the phone.
Note that when using a battery to charge a battery you get two lots of 20% loss from the electronics in the external and internal so 5000mah becomes in reality about 3000mah, so you're going to get max time if you connect the external battery during times of peak power use of the phone, such as when sat using the phone so you get only one lot of 20% loss so 5000mah becomes more like 4000mah not 3000mah so if you plugged it when using your phone at times of when plugging a battery is not an issue then you're nearly tripling your overall times.
Also note that not external batteries are the same, a key one is if they are 1A or 1.5A or 2A input, the 1A input take a long time, usually overnight, to charge. The above one is 2A.
If I'm travelling I pair with a dual socket 2x2A brick like this one. So from any time I'm sat next to a power socket I'm making best use of the time charging 2A to the slim battery and 2A to the phone. That means you are not increasing your charging time at same time as tripling your battery time.

New TurboPower 25 watt Power Adapter

Hi guys, i am very curious about the new turbopower 25 adapter, It is 25 watt adapter, as far as i know, the quick charge 2.0 is just 18W max right now, so how does moto count the 25watt? is it 5V/5A?
Does anyone receive the Moto X Pure? Could you please post a photo for the Turbopower 25 charger?
thanks

I talk with MOTO online chat, they said the MOTO X Pure still come with Turbopower 15, there is no Turbopower 25, i am so sorry to hear this.
Motochat has made several wrong statements, so they're not a good source. I don't know which one will be included.

Damn cool!
As far as i know, there is no quick charger in the market which support those output:
5V 2.85A;
9V 2.85A
12V 2.15A
The quick charge 2.0 standard right now is
5V/2A
9V/2A
12V/1.5A
So You still can use the current quick chargers, but it won't be as fast as the Turbopower 25.
interesting.
Eric
Has anyone done a charging time test yet?
And how is the turbo 1 and 2? What is that?

Mi Power Bank 16000mAh - Confirmed Rapid Charge USB A External Battery

Hey everyone.
I noticed today, very unexpectedly, my Mi 16000mAh Power Bank has on it that it has a maximum output of 5.1V/3.6A when only using 1 USB A port. I checked the Mi website and they have the same spec.
Which goes without saying, could it rapid charge? I have a couple of the otherwise dangerous One Plus USB A to C cables, which we know have a resistor that allows a 3A draw, too much for most standard chargers.
I'm going to trust that Xiaomi is not lying about the max 5.1v/3.6A as this is an amazing charger.
Using it right now. Rapid charge via Xiaomi Mi Power Bank USB A confirmed.

Warning: Don't try this with any other external battery without checking its specifications. If you're going to buy a Mi Power Bank for this function, ensure you buy and official unit as counterfeits exist.
At a minimum you should measure the current draw with something like Ampere (software). Using the 6p and the OnePlus cable you will get "rapid charging" displayed no matter what you plug it into so the screenshot proves nothing really.
I have the exact same powerbank purchased from directly from xiaomi and just did a test with a USB dongle that measures current output. phone was at ~40% battery.
Test 1: with google's usb a-to-c cable that came with the phone: 1.56A
Test 2: with a micro-usb cable w/ usb type-c adapter that shows green on checkR: 1.18A
Sorry man, I don't think there's any way this powerbank is able to output more than 3A or even 2.4A.
I just checked the product page for this powerbank again, and it says Max 5V/3.6A dual output, which I take to mean a max of 1.8A on each port.
Plus, if you've seen the video ackattacker has posted in another thread, you'll realise that the 'charging rapidly' does not reflect how much currently is actually flowing into the phone.
It's still a neat powerbank though, I have always thought it did a pretty good job of recharging on the go.

Choetech quick charger 3.0

I've got my hands on a choetech quick charge 3.0 wall charger. I've been using it on my HTC A9 for a bit now and it works great. I don't pay much attention to q.c 2.0 and 3.0 but it does make a difference when you look for it

The unit itself is very slim and easy on the pocket by having a straight design. The one thing I hate on wall units is when the power pins are facing to the side of the wall charger as it makes it hard to carry in the pocket.
Here are some pictures of it:

The info of this charger are the following:
CHOE Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 Wall Charger Designed with Lasted Technology
Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0: The latest, fastest and most efficient USB charging technology in the world. Up to 4X faster than standard chargers, able to charge compatible devices to 80% in just 35 minutes.
I'm very happy with this charger and so far I enjoy it. The products by choetech are my recent favorite. I've found their products to be at anker or even better than. The USB cables in their products last me while ankers tend to stop working a lot. Here is a picture of the included USB cable.
I did find an issue that causes an annoying humming when the unit is plugged into a power source.
I also might add that I'll be getting the updated version soon so I'll update this post if I notice any difference.
If you've got any questions regarding the product please do ask below!
What's different in the updated version of this charger?

A9 not yet support QC 3.0
Here are some images of my UK version of the plug. Brilliant device and use it with my A9. As always choetech turn out some of the nicest 3rd part accessories out there.
I have same charger. 5-100% in 90 minutes :|
What's your charging time ?
100% in around 85 minutes and the backup is awesome....in love with this sexy phone
