Hello,
Im running a rooted with the latest magisk EU version OP 8T android 12
My current build numer is KB2003_11_C.21, and ever since updating to this version (using the Exogen updater) ive havent been able to update to any of the versions that came after C21. Ive tried version C33 and kept getting a failed message and now C35 and same issue. (https://community.oneplus.com/thread?id=1181365)
I've used every option shown here https://www.makeuseof.com/update-oxygenos-manually/ and all of them fails.
I see this issue with many other users since versions C20/21.
Thank you in advance

1 - I haven't done any rooting/custom romming in many years, and never on a OnePlus
2 - I DO NOT HAVE WINDOWS
I have seen a few tutorials but they all talk about installing some MSM tool and they all have instructions ONLY for Windows. Is it possible to do the MSM thing from Linux? Is there some other way to get from Hydrogen 9.0.1 to Oxygen 9.0.2 - I thought I would be able to get from HydrogenOS to Oxygen 9.0.2 with the minor release difference but no, I am still getting the "won't downgrade" message . Any pointers? Thanks!

There is a "downgrade" zip, aka OxygenOS 5.1.11 (Or maybe not this exact version, but iirc it's the latest Oreo version) that you can flash to downgrade to Oreo, it doesn't trigger anti-rollback. From this, you can flash any more recent version, including OOS
Just found it, i think :
http://oxygenos.oneplus.net.s3.amaz...all_1808102118_downgrade_68586451f7334c4d.zip
This file can be flashed via the System Updater (Local Upgrade). It will wipe everything though, if i read correctly. I used it once to get from Betas to Stable (The Stable version was older, i couldn't flash it).
You could also follow one of the tutorials on this forum, unlock, flash TWRP, and just install the latest OxygenOS this way
Hi
Oneplus released a new update I think yesterday. I installed it and of course afterwards I wanted my root access back. So I went into TWRP and flashed the Magisk 20..4 zip-File. Then when I started it and got the following error-message:
Code:
Attempted to kill init! exitcode=0x00000100.
So now I have 2 Questions.
1. How can I unbrick my phone? Edit: Already unbricked
2. What would be a viable way to reflash magisk on the new OS-version?
Hmm that's weird as I am back on 10.5.7 and also flashed magisk however nil drama that you speak of.
Well I think my update was on 10.5.6 maybe. Did you do everything the same way as I did? Same versions and all?
Edit: I just did an update and the latest version that's shown to me is 10.5.6. Can I download 10.5.7 from somewhere directly for the EU version?
Edit: The rollout for the EU-version of 19.5.7 will be soon, guess I'll just wait for it and then I root it again
how u unbricked please tell me
Hi
I tried to update my poco x3 nfc from 12.0.4 android 10 to 12.5.4 android 11 using a recovery rom file and got the "can't verify update, can't flash this stable rom " error message so i updated the phone online to the next version that it was showing at the time which was 12.0.9 android 10, but even after update to the new version i still got the same error for the recovery rom and i tried a different build and got the same error as well and on top of that updater apps says there is no updates available.
I already tried the latest version of updater app which is 7.6.3 and tried different vpns and still getting the same error.
How can i solve this without the need to unlock bootloader?
Also for some reason system app updater doesn't work and can't download anything and i tried this on my friends phone, also same problem. Does anyone have this problem ?
Thanks in advance
Please search forum threads because this has already been answered countless times. The only solution is to take it to a service center and flash using EDL authorised account or you have to unlock bootloader yourself and flash latest firmware.
XDA, we've had a problem here.
Hello everyone!
I'm throwing a bottle into the sea because I don't feel that other people have had the same problem.
I've been on the latest version of Lineage OS 18.1 until now. Having seen the latest version released (20.0) I tried to update my smartphone but the screen became unresponsive (plus there was no network: I'm in France #andr01dfr3ak).
So I used Scrcpy and I could use the phone "normally". I decided to redo a fresh installation from OOS (I had to downgrade) and install the latest version of Lineage OS 19.1 (and wait for the 20.0 to be stable).
So I used MSM and installed an Indian version of OOS on my phone. My screen was responding again. Wanting to put the latest version of OOS in order to reinstall Lineage OS, I have updated OOS via OTA and I had the same problem as before: the screen does not respond anymore but now without any possibility to activate anything in the developer options.
Thus, in summary: I'm currently stuck with (the last?) OOS because the screen that doesn't respond anymore (but it's on and all the buttons work) and I have no possibility to activate anything in the developer options (so no USB debugging etc.).
What do you think I should do?
When you flashed the wrong firmware and wonder why the display doesn't work. The firmware you flashed thinks your phone is the India 9r version and all updates will only give you india stuff now. You must flash EU version of firmware. Link https://github.com/libxzr/FastbootEnhance
Hi all,
I have a weird issue - I have updated my OnePlus 9 EU last year over Oxygen Updater, but managed to install India-only update on EU phone and now in settings it shows 2113_11_C.60.
After scouring internet I found that C.60 was India only update.
Now, I haven't received a single auto update since May 2022.
I have tried downloading incrimental updates to C.62 both for 2113 and 2111, but neither local upgrade nor special oneplus app was not able to update.
Also tried full install of C.62, no success.
Even tried full upgrade to latest EU build LE2113_11_F.75 - same result..
The local upgrade through settings constantly shows "verification failed" no matter what file I choose.
OP's System Update app would fail after showing system updating for a minute, with 0% progress.
As I understand, I somehow managed to install Indian version of incrimental update on EU phone, but now I am stuck on it.
What are other reinstall options on OnePlus 9?
Can I somehow force install if I connect over PC?
Many thanks for the help!

Index of /list/Unbrick_Tools
Find the one compatible for your device whatever stock would be and run the msm recovery tool. This will get you back where you need to be to be able to update to latest software.
Otherwise you can try editing the file payload_properties.txt inside the update zip and changing oplus_update_engine_verify_disable to 1. This way your phone should skip the verification process entirely. Keep in mind that this could still result into bricking your phone because of this unintended update path but since the alternative would be using MSM tool why not trying anyway.
