Last week I got my Note 11 Pro 5G, and FM radio was working out of the box, I tried that out. I updated the phone (OTA) to MIUI 13.0.9.0 (RKCEUXM) and FM radio is not working anymore. I can open the app but the on/off button to activate the radio doesn't work. It says "FM radio turned off". Anyone encountered this, and hopefully has got a solution for this?
When I enter the Hardware Test Menu (by dialing *#*#6484#*#*) I get the static radio noise, so the hardware is working.
Same here on Note 11, worked fine some updates ago and now I cant turn radio on in the app. No error displayed, no reaction to pressing the on/off button. Hardware test of the radio is fine, I can tune into different stations with good quality.
Seems like something on xiaomi side, I've tried clearing cache, didn't help.

I installed the latest stable rom for my device from xiaomi.eu and FM radio is now working as it should!
Musíte udeliť povolenia:
Nastavenia - Aplikácie - Povolenia - Povolenia - Telefón - povoliť službu FM rádia
a pripojené slúchadlá.

hi there,
I have a polaris rom: 3.13.405.0 WWE, radio: 1.59.42.15 25.85.30.07H
my regular nokia phone is broken so after some time I need to use polaris again
I have a issue with bluetooth - starting from within comm manager doesn't work at all ..
when I turn on bluetooth, after few seconds of "working", it switch ON for a short moment and then back OFF
is this a hardware issue? or is this a software issue? how can I check it? do I need to try to reinstall with another rom?
btw: wifi works, data over mobile works
any idea would be appreciated
cheers
Got same problem, rom M.Amine 2.0
It's ROM problem. I have simillar problems now, which were NOT present in previous ROM.
Probably Radio part is guilty...
As I am new I cannot post in the developer forum, so I hope someone finds my solution here:
The RC2 for Redux 1.1.1 contains an updated RIL that causes problems on my phone (connection disappears after screen off/sleep and comes back only after reboot). Similar problems are described in the Desire RIL thread with lots of different ROMs: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=902752
Solution for me was the downgrade to HTC-RIL 2.2.1001G, no problems with network connection so far.
Redux problems
I experience 2 problems with Redux 1.2 :
1. Sometimes during the day the level of audio drops down to
almost 0, although nothing changed to the presets. After
reboot everything is ok again.
I got the impression that it has something to do with other
apps using audio. Today the level of audio turned back to
normal after shutting down the service of Tunein Radio.
2. Sometimes with incoming calls I can't answer it because
the screen stays black.
Any solutions ?
I have looked all over the internet and on XDA and haven't found an answer. Considering re-flashing the Rom.
I recently installed Cloudy 1.2 and flashed the D850 modem as well on my AT&T LGG3
Everything is working great, except when I press my bluetooth button on my headset nothing happens on the phone and I get the default sound from the headset saying that it can't do anything.
I can't figure out why this might be the case, all other functions of bluetooth work great. The only thing I have found that might possibly pertain to the issue is the lack of the Google Now launch option when using a bluetooth launch selector. Specifically [Google Search > com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox.VoiceSearchActivity] simply doesn't show up. I have been able to switch this setting and use google search on all of the roms I've used in the past cm12, cloudy 2.2 and the stock 4.4 from LG.
I am at a loss as to what may be the issue and would like to try something other than wiping the phone since that may not even fix the problem.
Edit** Jun 25, 2015
Started have a bunch of issues with the headphone jack being seen as a headset and triggering google search. I switched to Cloudy 2.3 since its different than 2.2. Hoping some of the bluetooth issues they've had in the past have been worked out but the button on my bluetooth headset triggers google search on my phone again. Thankfully.
Thanks for any suggestions/help

Hello!
I find one nasty bug. When I try to record anything from FM Radio, the app hangs after some time. The best way to reproduce that is to open FM Radio app, start recording and iconify FM Radio app. Then just do anything else on the phone (for example web browsing). After a while (usually about one minute) I can't open the Radio app, and recording period counter hangs. If you do nothing when recording, it takes much more time till Radio hangs.
Could anyone check, if the problem exists on its phone also, please?
I use my phone with CM12.1 ROM - latest official build (cm-12.1-20150708-NIGHTLY-sprout4.zip). But the problem occurs with other CM12.1 betas also. I noticed only AICP ROM is probably free of this bug.
Did you find solution ? i also have the same issue

Well, I'm not sure if this is what you wanted to hear, but it seems the problem is solved in Android Marshmallow or in CyanogenMod 13. Unfortunately I noticed that the sound quality (both OSes) isn't very good, but in many application it's enough.
And one more thing. I noticed the Android Radio have some problems with wakelocks. I'm not sure if CyanogenMod's version is free of this bug.
Hi all,
I've just bought the moto g3. I'm not rooted or changed the ROM, it is all stock.
I'm experiencing an issue with the FM Radio App. I turn it on and everytime I hit the home link it takes me to desktop (this is ok). but it also ruins the fm audio sound. the sound becomes saturated.
A workaround to this is: restart the radio and either switch off the screen with the right button or change app via the square button.
Anyone experiencing the same issue? any known solution? any alternative "air" fm radio app?
Preferebly, i woudn't like to root it.
thanks
I have a XT1540, stock, rooted. Stock FM Radio app works just fine. I do not have the issues you do.
Forgot to mention. I've a XT1543. Thanks for the feedback.

Did you check your Earphones ? they might cause such problems of Noise, try putting your earphones in other phone and check it once,

Thanks,
I tried using different earphones just to verify, even tested in other phones. No luck, it Seems to be just with the FM radio app of my phone with any kind of earphones.
