3500mhz range of 1km max or even less with high speed and are very sensitive to obstacles. I did the test next to a 3500mhz the speed drops to 800m.
700mhz carries much further but with speeds often lower than 4G.
the 5g icon is displayed because you have chosen 5g network by preference even if you are on 4g. (Xiaomi ).
Given the lack of 5g antenna nearby I leave it in 4g preferred and I am in 4g+ with very good speed.
Not TELIA but

Don't bother with that, 5g 700mhz offers lower speeds than 4g 4g+.
Its only advantage is that range.

Kirin 970 processor present in the Honor View 10 is the Worlds first mobile SoC that supports Cat 18 LTE. It can attain maximum data speeds of 1.2Gbps. In contrast, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835, supports Category 16 downlink LTE, and can achieve maximum download speeds of 1Gbps.Tthe Kirin 970 is capable of aggregating up to 5 LTE (5CA) downlink carriers & phones equipped with this chipset will likely achieve even higher data speeds once carriers start supporting this technology. So basically it future proof. Even the OnePlus 5T supports only upto 3CA.
CA related question
Is there any tool, app, code to see between which 4G bands the device is "making" the CA?

The carrier aggregation option is missing from my phone, lol - B140 C432 (Europe). My OnePlus 5 had LTE-A all the time (the 4G support on my mobile provider is on 1800 and 2100 bands). Since I got the View 10, I have not seen the LTE-A sign not even once, always stuck on 4G only. A friend of mine has Mate 10 Pro and he gets LTE-A. Same mobile provider, same chipset.

I'm in America..
And it says 4g on mine all the time
But when I check the signal I get lte band 5.. And others depending on what towers I use it the area I'm in
I think maybe the indicator is inaccurate but still received lte.
Down load lte Discovery app from play.
It will tell you all the info you need.
Also depending on what theme I use the indicator will work and show lte.
Just eye candy.. It works.

4G+(LTE+) Carrier Aggregation?

Is anyone getting 4G+ in any network? Carrier Aggregation is supported by chipset.

I don't know if it is intra band or inter band aggregation, but my carrier supports B1 and B3.
as per Flipkart specificaton, it supports CA - 1C (Only DLCA), 3C, 40C, 41C.
Yeah it's supported 3 band
Guys, net monster app doesn't prove u have carrier Aggregation in ur phone. It only shows that it's supported in ur area.
Yes, i'm in France and Redmi Note 7 isn't connected in 4G+. It's only interband in France.
Any way to get 4g+ ?
I have tried it too.

You are really not understanding, there is no tutorial or anything, if your area supports band 41 it will detect
I am from Maharashtra and Vodafone supports band 41 so you will get 4g+
On jio you are not going to get 4g+ no mod or tutorial is going to help, it's simple the band is not present on Indian version of Redmi note 7pro. China version has more bands than Indian version. China version will support 4g+

I don't know about net monster. But on jio getting 4g+ is impossible because your mobile doesn't support adequate bands.
For example take one plus 7 or realme x , compare their bands and Indian Redmi note 7 pro, you'll understand Indian version is lacking bands for 4g+ on jio.
Only Vodafone and idea can give you 4g+ if your area supports it.

Yes. it is not supporting CA on Airtel.
As after search I found that. Poco x3 india does not support interband ca. It only support 40+40 interaband ca.
And 256 QAM in airtel.
Any way to add band combo manually for work with 3+40 band?
Posting you again proof of Carrier Aggregation in India. Getting 4G+ on Jio as well as Vi (VodafoneIdea). Poco X3

Question Is it possible to disable NR 5G?

I'm wondering if it's possible (without root I hope) to disable NR 5G only. The kind where the 5G icon is filled in. It's a massive battery drain, and regular 5G (not filled in icon) is faster than regular 4G/LTE but no where as near as bad on my battery.
Edit:
Forgot to mention, I'm on a UK S22 Ultra, Unlocked (network wide) and on all latest updates

My point was I want to keep using 5G It's still much faster than LTE, but I want to not use NR 5G (the fast one, filled in icon) I get about 50 down on LTE, 270 on normal 5G (not filled in icon) and over 800 on NR 5G (filled in icon, big battery drain). LTE is unreliable in my location here but 5G is not

Just make sure that NSA and LTE selectred then hit apply configuration. YOU should be able to have 5g with LTE
