What is PAX?

I use nano opengapps! Any should work. I'll prefer opengapps!

That's the highest i can increase with prebuilt blobs. Maybe you should try viper or something.

okay thanks, I'll try Dolby.

I tried to lock LTE bands using Network signal guru app(with root). But it showed me below prompt mentioning locking features aren't available.

Do you have any plans to enable band locking features?
Note: previously, I was able to lock bands in other roms, but i think they were not on same vendor/system versions, so not sure if this is rom specific or vendor specific

On statusbar, battery percentage font style is different than clock font style. Battery percentage has regular font style while clock has medium font style. I usually saw that battery percentage has medium font style like I saw on such as Lineageos. Could you please look into it? I wish that battery percentage has medium font style too. Thanks a lot.

Wifi Not working on Redmi Note 4 Mido 64gb variant, only showing scanning networks. I flash it in correct way clean flash!

Works beautifully, and has all the advanced customization options that I need and use. Thank you. I just have a quirk, the right side of the status bar (battery icons) seem a little off the screen edge, maybe they could be adjusted in a future build?

I know this is a weird question for a pixel based rom but, is there a way to disable/remove that google search bar from the main menu?

Intagram apps not able to download at google playstore using this rom.

Long term review: It's an exceptionally stable ROM without any bugs and smooth, consistent performance. What is making me revert back to Android 11 is my device itself, which has reached its physical limits on terms of the load that it can handle, and begins to lag after a month of usage, and cache generation.
Nevertheless, remarkable and commendable performance on the developer's part. I thank thee!

I am assuming this is an Android 12 wide bug, but I'm using this ROM and while it worked perfectly the first time, I wiped my device due to a few reasons and tried reinstalling the ROM, now when I try to update/install apps through Play Store, it returns an "insufficient storage" error
I tried opening the storage setting but the Settings app crashes every time I try to do so
I booted into Recovery and noticed that the phone had no System, Android, app install files or folders at all, which it is supposed to have
Other 12 based ROMs are returning the same error, any idea why?

The version 1.6 link is corrupted (instead of 1.5GB the file is 200MB)

Ver 1.6 mido link broken, downloaded but failed and it said no file

My current android version is android 9 (pie) which is aospextended. Can i flash this build directly or do i need to flash android 10/11 before flashing this build?

Hi,
For me, I'm having few issues right after installing it (the 1.6 version).
Few settings are not accessible due to 'IT blocked' the option. So, I cannot activate developer options by tapping the build-nuber few times, for instance.
Yesterday, I didn't had access to SD card, due to a missing app installed (under the name of 'Documents'. I couldn't find such in play store that seemed to be related (only app under that name was a PDF viewer). Today, when I wanted to take a screenshot, issue seemed to be gone somehow (though I tried few times yesterday, and with different apps to get access to SD card).
I only installed this ROM yesterday (and after clean install with formatting data, to make sure I'm on a clean state), and found those issues.

Doesn't have any issues except that I'm having issues while playing video in Disney hotstar .

I have some issues
First dual sim does not work flawlessly.
Second I cannot remove Google searchbar from homescreen.
Third the repeated location access by phone services is very annoying.

so, official twrp 3.7 doesn't officially support android 13 yet and this is why i need a custom build from zeelog? huh, interesting. i guess you also forked his kernel tree?
plus, would be nice if you could provide "vanilla" builds (and yes, I do understand that you ship with gapps to avoid comments like: "no gapps?", "recommend gapps", "issue with gapps" etc. but it would be cool nonetheless)

would also be nice if you looked into using divestos's cve kernel patcher (while of course crediting them)

best rom for mido, try other but this one smooth with good memory management & speed. only one problem found, AIRTEL LTE data signal is good but NO INTERNET ACCESS. change APN settings but no success. Please rectify this.

your download server keeps crashing the download randomly.
I have tried to download three times already and still, tried from pling as well (as it happens to be the source on Elixir's website) but it seems pling doesn't mirror it just points to the same download server so download crashes before it even reaches 1GB.
It says "network error" but idk man I've downloaded Ubuntu 23 and a couple other builds for mido with no issue so I cannot know how it may be an issue on my side
Gonna give it a few hours and try later.
edit: nvm I cannot wait so I bridged the download to a virtual machine in another country and it went just fine and then ok to my PC as well. So it probably was some regional issue or whatever.

Same here. In my case, trying to turn hotspot on makes the setting application to crash, and generally breaks WiFi operation as a station too.
Also: Bluetooth in hands-free profile (aka Bluetooth classic for phone calls) does not work. As soon as a phone call starts, the bluetooth device enters a disconnect/reconnect loop, until at some point the phone switches to the phone audio.

hello, see my previous post: in my case bluetooth for media works (A2DP profile), but bluetooth for calls does not (HFP profile). Can you confirm same for you ? Also, I did not manage to get the hotspot working.

Here my log for bluetooth. https://pastebin.pl/view/90742bf0 It's throws a few different errors than the previous one. I completely can't see or pair bluetooth. Came from stock Miui before flashing ProjectElixir_3.7_mido-13.0-20230502-2052-OFFICIAL.zip

In my case,Bluetooth doesn't even turn on and the settings app crashes when WiFi hotspot is opened.Cast doesn't work.
I switched to pixel experience and The Bluetooth,WiFi Hotspot and cast is all working.

I have tried it last week but failed the install sequence, I get I should use a particular recovery... can you help me out with it ?

after using some days im dissapointed. you are sayng that bank apk works, but no. the phone has no NFC.

I flashed the PPUI 5.2 in X3 SZ, working fine, Bank of Baroda app working fine.
In my phone the default camera app missing and battery % indicate not working. I installed google camera app and working fine. I tested it for almost 2 hours, Nice ROM.

I don't speak English so I use Google Translate.
I still love this device and appreciate the release of custom roms with the latest security patches.
After casting to ChromeCast using the cast button in an app such as Youtube, the app crashes whenever I press the cast button.
Also, if you add an APN by adding a mobile network APN and press the save button to save it, it crashes in the same way and you can not save the APN settings.
I've attached the logcat of the crash.

The gesture navigation is rough. (not smooth as it should be) and the launcher clock is not showing. If I auto hide the clock (at clock and date customisation) the launcher clock disappear too.

regarding to the gesture navigation feels "rough" I think it is the launcher itself have problem.
