Fingerprint possible only on 1 profile on Poco X3 NFC (surya) - Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC Questions & Answers

Hello XDA Bros,
I've had my Surya for about a year now, and I tried many ROMs, but the same issue occurs on every ROM.
So here is the issue:
I have a work profile (shelter) and a set of other user profiles, I can set up a pin|password|pattern for each of them without an issue.
However, If I set up a fingerprint on any profile, then I cannot set up a fingerprint on the other profiles.
When it fails, this error occurs: (Enrollment was not completed. Fingerprint enrollment didn't work. Try again or use a different finger.)
when it is set up, It works properly, and I can add multiple fingerprints for that profile.
I bought a new Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 for my little brother a week ago. And today when I was configuring it for him, I wanted to try my fingerprint issue, and to my surprise it registered the fingerprint for every single profile, including shelter work profile.
I honestly lost hope by this point, I've tried several fixes this year and none of them worked.
I can't say that the sensor is broken, since it registers fingerprints on 1 profile.
Has any of you experienced this issue? And if you did, how did you fix it?
I'll be looking forward to your replies.

Work Profile. Be careful. Lockdown after updates

Dear All,
Who using Work profiles, be aware that after system update and rebooting the phone you will not able to unlock Work profile using PIN anymore. You will not able to remove and add work profile either, as PIN will be requested.

In case you using work profile, do not update your phone.
I hope Huawei will draw attention on this issue and fix it. 5 Month so far no solution, as I can notice from links above.
Best wishes,

Fingerprint unlock disabled when work profile is active

Hi all, delighted by my brand new device (exynos) but a strange behaviour occured when I installed my company MDM.
Impossible to unlock with the fingerprint, in the settings the biometrics section is greyed out.
It was working fine before. As soon as I removed the professional profile, it worked again, and as soon as I set it up again, it didn't.
Strangely enough, the MDM allows the fingerprint to log into the professional apps (like Boxer).
Anyone here uses a company profile with the S10e ?
Sounds like a bug or a company restriction? It worked fine before with my old MotoG5+ with an outdated security patch, and my colleagues with other types of Galaxy phones don't have this issue.
Thanks for any thought.
I use work mode and Microsoft InTune. The fingerprint sensor works normally. The sensor itself is a bit annoying but the operation is as intended.
The fingerprint settings have an option for fingerprint always on.
Same thing happened to me. My company uses VMware Intelligent HUB in a work profile. After installing it, could no longer unlock with fingerprint. Options are grayed out in security settings. Uninstalled the work profile and I get fingerprint unlock back. Since the only thing I needed was email, I'm just using the web interface in chrome (how is that more secure???). It all worked fine on my pixel 2, so this is specific to s10e. I refuse to install the work profile if it disables the fingerprint unlock. Emailed my IT department to see if they can change the policy, but not hopeful about that.

Oppo Find X2 Pro and Freestyle Libre

For my diabetes I use the Freestyle Libre system to measure my glucose levels. It works using NFC, it should work using NFC. Sadly it only works a few times out of every 10 times I try. Sometimes the Oppo reads my glucose levels with no problem but usually it is just a miss and miss scenario.
Sometimes turning NFC off and on resolves the issue, sometimes powering the Oppo off completely resolves the issue, but several times the seemingly only option was to do a factory reset , reinstalling everything again, whereafter it works a few days, when the same problem reappears again.
As you can imagine, not something that makes me happy. Anyone out here who recognizes these NFC problems, and has a solution, or a way to make it work more reliable. Every other NFC operations seem to work okay, but this one is really bugging me, especially as it is important with regards to my wellbeing. i am using a fully updated Oppo Find X2 Pro.
On my previous phone, a Samsung S9+, i had no issues at all.
I'm so glad someone else also has this issue!
I was about to start a similar thread.
I have a lot of issues scanning my libre and it hardly ever works!
Can anyone help locate the exact location of the NFC sensor. I have watched Jerry rigs everything teardown but he did not mention where exactly it is located.
If someone could give me the exact grid number from this grid I've created I'd be very grateful!

Is this issue still present on Android 11 for you? My issue still persists even on a factory reset
Have you found solution. I have the Same problem with OPPO reno 4 z
I have bought an Oppo Find X3 Lite this weekend. Same issue. Anybody has a solution already for the above? I imagined only NFC would be enough but why is it that the Oppo phone does not connect with the scanner? Any idea anybody?
I got the Android 11 update for Oppo Reno 10x Zoom, and my Freestyle Libre 2 Sensors stopped working with the phone. When I try to scan, the NFC service hangs and NFC will not work anymore untill phone restart.
Oppo told me it is a known problem and they will try to fix it in a new firmware update. God knows when.
THANX A LOT, OPPO! Now I have to carry around the ****ty Freestyle reader all the time!
Hi Everyone. I had this issue and called ABBOT. Got a fix which now works. In your phone settings go to the libre link app and clear the cache data. Restart your phone and voila it works!

Question Fingerprint enrollment failed after display replacement

Please help, this is driving me nuts. here's briefly what's going on:
- Bought a Rog Pone 5s with a broken display. Found a 6 months old dead Rog Phone 5 - motherboard died of overheating. Quick disassembly-assembly and had a nice working phone.. but...
- I'm facing an issue with the fingerprint - Fingerprint enrollment failed immidiately after i try to register one. This is happening on Android 11. On Android 12 the fingerprint registration process starts, but the phone deasn't register my fingerprint no matter how i try.
- i found the calibration procedure video here on XDA, ordered the tool (still haven't received it) and downloaded the app. The app installs under both Android 11 and 12, and i tried to two pieces of paper - at least to try to get the fingerprint working until i get my tool. But nothing happens, calibation procedure passes and fingerprint is still not registered at all - the phone doesn't even try to read it.
- i double-checked all connections and flex cables inside the phone - all seems fine. I also tried some apps which are supposed to test the fingerprint - one of them directly shuts down with an error, anotherone reports fingerprint sensor is in use. Built-in test accessible through .12345+= says test is passed.
- do i need to be on a specific firmware to be able to correctly calibrate the sensor? if yes how can i downgrade to this firmware from the latest Android 11? i'm able to successfully downgrade fom 12 to 11 using Asus's "special" firmware for downgrade, but i don't know how to downgrade to an earlier Android 11.
- i saw that other phone brands/models are having similar issues with fingerprint sensor. are there any general instrustions on how to fix this? is calibration the only method?

Poco F2 pro, Wi-Fi and mobile networks lost

Hello friends, i'm from Peru nice to meet you all, i'm looking for help maybe some of you could give some advice, i have a POCO F2 pro, everything was working well but 2 days ago I restarted my phone and when it started the system I was surprised that I had lost the wifi network and the mobile network too, so I had no way to access the internet, I tried everything but I could not get the networks back , so I decided to do a factory reset, since I did not have internet I could not disable my mi account, I assumed that everything would be solved when I did the format, but nothing has been solved and the phone is blocked in the activation window and because i do not have any network I can not pass the activation even though I have all the information of my account, since then I have been reading a lot and decided to flash the persist partition, but as you already know by fastboot it is protected and by edl I need an authorized account or the modified firehose file which does not exist for the poco f2, which is why I think my only option is to flash it by orangefox but I don't know if it already has support for the poco f2, I will be infinitely grateful for any advice What can you give me, thank you very much in advance.
If you had the same problem as mine, you need to have your CPU reballed.
My phone was unable to connect to wifi and PC, though it was still charging, but then became dead after a while
Just like what happened to me. Did you find a solution?

before flashing anything, first test if light or rotation sensor works, if they work don't touch the persistent partition, your problem is hardware
