Note 20 Ultra 5G (Model SM-N986N) (Korea) to open CSC - Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Questions & Answers

Hi,
I have Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G (Model SM-N986N) (Korea). Wondering if it is possible to change it to a different native language without ROOT?
Open CSC?
Is it possible to change the model of this phone to SM-N986B?

I was looking for information about note 10 5g variants but unsuccessfully. How many variants this device currently exist and what's their code names? I am absolutely noob because of it will be my first Samsung. Thanks

Mine is a 10 PLUS 5g UK Samsung bought unlocked device on exynos code sm-n976b.
Currently there are 4 versions(10+5G) that are widely available (in their respective countries). N976B is the international version. N9760 is the Chinese version, N976N is from Korea and N976V is from the Verizon version in the US. Currently the only US network carrying the 10+5G.

No. By the way, it is dual sim phone. But no esim support.
Note 20 Ultra Exynos version does support dual-sim and esim. But you can only have 2 lines active at the same time Sim + Sim or Sim + Esim. As the S20 Ultra already does.
any snapdragon model that have esim

I own a S20 ultra G988B and I do have this option. Right now I am using Sim + Esim + microSD. As I said this works for Exynos version. I don’t have the intel for the Snapdragon version.
Is there any Note 20 Ultra (Snapdragon) available, which has dual SIM and eSIM support? if so - which model?

Enabling Carrier Aggregation

I received a Note 20 Ultra (Snapdragon) from a relative residing in the US. I am currently in Malaysia, the Exynos region. If I am not mistaken, the 4G+ here uses a combination of band 3 and 7.
On my note 8 device, using my simcard, my mobile connection would show 4G+ in certain areas and 4G in the outskirts. On the note 20 (Snapdragon) it remains on LTE and never LTE+ / LTE-A.
Would it be possible for me to change my csc from XAA (US) to XME (Malaysia)? If so how?
Or is there a way for me to force the carrier aggregation to occur?

I don't think you can change CSC from American region to non American. Not sure much can be done to enable CA

Exactly. Same as me using my HK version in the USA. No CA, I can't change csc to any usa devices.
What you could do is compare CA combos for all USA devices and see which one closely matches your region and then take it from there.

I think this hardware doesn't have defined Carrier Aggregation combinations used outside from US. Here is listed some supported Carrier Aggregation combinations here if this is same model what you have: https://cacombos.com/device/SM-G988U . You can contribute to webpage cacombo.com/contribute using scat logging method to provide more logs to complete list so then we know.
I think you can change CSC because Qualcomm vs Exynos - complete different device.
Qualcomm version does not support Band 3 (LTE). Only Exynos version supports it.

Call recorder on Samsung S20 ULTRA 5G [sm-g988uzkaxaa]

Hi, I need instant call recorder on Samsung S20 ULTRA 5G function like in Korean phones. Is it possible on US version sm-g988uzkaxaa? With root or just change firmware? Thx in advance!

Question For hackability, does it matter if I get USA or International version?

When I got my Note 9, I had to get the Exynos processor (international version) in order to be hackable. Is it the same for the S22 Ultra?
Why Do you want your phone to get hacked?
If you mean root then exynos or sm 9080 or 908E
Ting told me that the phone needs to support:
1) VoLTE (Voice over LTE) and
2) Band 12
Will those phones do that?
Also, you meant sm908 "b", not sm9080, right?
Yes the 908B (ExNos CPU) is also rootable. All there have Band 12 and volte. 9080 and 908E are snapdragon
