I don't have a Windows machine so can't get the image file via it. If anyone can help me get the file, it'd be much appreciated!

That worked! I was able to re-lock the bootloader too (on this fastbootd device)
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot oem lock

Follow this thread and use Hex Fiend to edit the file on mac. I did it and it worked very well. If you're new to hacking android you'll have to find info on how to get adb setup. You'll also need fastboot but you can get that from the HTC dev site while following the unlock steps. If you're not familiar with using Terminal on the mac you'll need a little more help.
Let me know what you need and I'll try to help if I can. Are you on the stock firmware (1.73.502.1)?
Hello Everyone-
My apologies but, after reading page upon page of information, I am just more confused.
Has anyone found a method to unlock this bootloader yet - if even temporarily ?
All these terms ( TWRP, CWM, AOSP, etc.) just have my head spinning.
I am able to follow the steps to these processes, I just need to know which ones to follow.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

The section for the model mentioned that you are looking for is in http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/4g-development
If you find it all confusing at this point, I'd recommend the use of http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/4g-development/moto-g-4g-easyrecovery-toolkit-t2856710 for now.
Is this toolkit standalone ?
Somcom3X -
Thanks for the direction. If I use your toolkit, does it contain everything needed ? Can I disregard the other programs/files I dl'd in previous unlocking attempts - for example :adb tools treiber, Android Studio, etc.
I gave it a quick test, but my device never appears. This is what I see :
Your device is:
If this is incorrect please exit this program
Press any key to continue . . .
The phone is in fastboot mode, USB debugging on. I previously installed the ADB drivers w/i the toolkit. Do I also need to run (m)fastboot, as well ?
What am I missing here ?

Could you try using a different USB port/computer? All of the commands have been automated.
Phone was recognized, program went thru the motions but..
Command prompt did what it was supposed to do, but it still asked to enter unlock code from Motorola site. I just continued hitting any key to continue. Bootloader still locked. What now ?

You need the unlock code from the Motorola site. You'll be better off replying in that thread for the toolkit.

I thought that this toolkit did away with that requirement. As I mentioned in my OP, I am working with a Cricket XT1045. Motorola does not give out unlock codes for these versions.
I will post in that other thread if anyone has found a workaround.
Thanks
Without an unlock code, your pretty much on your own. However, this might work in your case: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2792487
if this is the wrong place to make a request, let me know and please direct me to the appropriate forum. I don't think my device is listed anywhere since it is an AT&T device. I made the stupid mistake of modding my phone without making a backup. I underestimated the damage unlocking the bootloader would do to my device. I receive the red message "Your device has been corrupted and cannot be trusted". Relocking the bootloader does not change the situation. I cannot access recovery mode. I can only access bootrom and fast boot modes. I cannot delete the data partition through fastboot. If anyone can point me to a stock rom, give me a scatter rom or give me a stock rom they happen to have, I would be greatly thankful.

Have you tried the att website for firmwares? You should be able to flash the earliest version of the rom you were using, incremental shouldn't matter..
The cannot be trusted bit must be either an att lock of some sort or enterprise mode. I suspect you have to apply for the OEM lock to be removed and wait for confirmation before you can root?

Please guys what to do , because all data is on that phone. please help.

Boot into bootloader and reunlock it
Can't. Lock State can't use command oem unlock as well. I'm trying using the MSM tool now fingers crossed
Are you on stock oxygen? Are you able to use the stock recovery to factory reset? You unlocked the bootloader using something other than command prompt/platform tools?

That's one of the guides that I mentioned that I tried. After using both unlock commands the response was FAILED (remote: unknown cmd.) I tried to use the fastboot OEM device-info command and got the same response
Tablet's OS is Android 11 GO, it got released 2020.
Is "OEM Unlock" option provided in Developer Settings? if so have you turned it on and afterwards rebooted the tablet?
Have you installed the Fastboot driver that's suitable to tablet?
If Fastboot returns "FAILED: (remote: unknown cmd.) " then Fastboot is obviously not supported.

I do have the oem unlock option turned to unlock and im using the adb and fastboot quick setup from xda to use on my computer. I honestly cant figure out where im going wrong this time. Ive used adb and fastboot commands before. Im no expert but im not totally green either. Still thank you guys for attempting to help me out. It really is appreciated

Are you talking about the M8L 2022? I've unlocked the bootloader but can't get it back to recovery and its FRP locked so i can't use ADB. ugh.
Also, its a Unisoc chip I think.
You have to use a modified fastboot and get the identifier token.

Look up modified fastboot for spreadrum devices. There is also a guide on hovatek forum.
For anyone and everyone who has had any trouble locating the firmware files (.pac) for the 2022 BLU M8L tablet, I FINALLY, after more than a month of searching found them on needrom.
Link is: https://www.needrom.com/download/blu-m8l-2022-m0220w/
Since idk if the link will be redacted or edited out, you can also google needrom and M0220WW
Be carefull when downloading the fireware for the M8L and pay close attention to the version your needing. From all that I gathered, there are mutiple versions...M0170WW, M0171WW, M0173WW, M0174WW, and the one I have that I have yet to find anywhere on the net. Its the most recent ..the M0176UU. If anyone happens to have this version, please make a full backup image and post it here. Thank you
