Hello,
I bought a snapdragon s7 off ebay, since i wanted to rom it i replaced the board with a exynos board from ebay for 35 euros. It worked like a charm for 3 weeks. One day when i installed pixelexperience 12 the volumebuttons died. I flashed stock. Still broken. I thought i would just move on and use it with adb to reboot to recovery/download. But when i flashed twrp i accidently forgot to turn off nand erease when i flashed twrp. Now its stuck at the samsung animation. It is detected on my pc but it doesent show up in device manager but says added in odin. Please help!
So i was thinking of buying a new motherbard, is that a good idea or do i need new volumebuttons?

A couple weeks ago I messed up my phone trying to flash a custom ROM. I'm just know fixing it and I just flashed my models ROM. (S4 US Cellular)
Here's my problem:
I installed CyanogenMod via SD Card, I flashed it, when I rebooted it flashed CyanogenMod and had the logo with arrows spinning around it, that moment of hope and pride lasted a mere 6 seconds as the screen turned off immediately. I tried booting it into recovery mode but all it does is show "Samsung Galaxy S4" and it turns off after a while. When I boot into Download Mode and hit "Restart" it does the same. I need help, thanks in advance!
Hey all,
I got my S7 (930F) today. I went through the 1st time setup and evrythin went smooth until my phone decided to reboot and got stuck in some kind of reboot loop.
As i searched google i read that i was no uncommon problem with samsung devices so i tried some of the things suggested (factory reset/cache whipe) .. nothing worked.
It just tried to boot, loaded my carrier homescreen for a second and went back to the Samsung Galaxy S7 powered by android screen and would do tht over and over.
So i tried to do a firmware update via Kies , looked like it worked but still ... wouldnt boot after.
Maybe the best way would have been to return it to my carrier and get a replace but since i am little bit techy i decided to search some more.
So i ended up flashin
2016-04-18 Austria (3 Hutchison) 6.0.1 G930FXXU1APD1 G930FDRE1APC3
this firmware (found on sammobile) via ODIN 3.10.7 and everything worked but still no boot , still stuck on the Samsung Galaxy S7 screen.
Did i total brick my phone? What else can i do?
Running out of ideas, any help would be great!
Hello,
since 6 years I am always flashing my own Phones.
About 5 Months ago I flashed the S8 Noble Port to my Phone and it worked really well but Yesterday my
Phone turned off (The Phone was not in useas it happened, just in near) and then it tried to boot.
I thought my battery is down and tried charging it. Die Phone is starting to the first Galaxy S6 Logo and freezes.
I can turn it of with the 3 buttons but its always stucking there.
So I tried entering the TWRP -> No Chance
I flashed new TWRP via Odin -> Same Problem (No Recovery - Enter)
Finally I flashed the Stock-Rom -> Same Problem (Freeze and no way to enter Recovery)
I might think something inside my phone died yesterday
Someone know what kind of hardware problem this can be?

Tried Samsung Kies? Are you able to get into download mode?
Use Odin to flash the entire system again.
It will flash original recovery, kernel, rom and other stuff.
After that flash twap again.
Download the files from samobile.
Well, I gave up on rooting and installing roms on the note 3. So i went and got myself a note 5.
well, I flashed twrp via odin and now i'm stuck in a bootloop. goes to samsung galaxy note 5 screen for a second, then off, then back to it.
I really just want to break down and cry. All I want is to have a clean phone with no crap on it. Why is this so hard? I followed every step properly and downloaded and used the exact files provided.
I was still dealing with the bootloop but somehow ended up being able to get into twrp, so i tried loading over a rom and flashing it. Still stuck in the bootloop for 15+ min until i decide to restart into download.
What do I [email protected]!?%$! i want to scream. This has almost been enough to push me to a god damn iphone
on nougat, march security update.
yeet, i'm good. flashed old version of twrp, then flashed poseidon kernel. g2g
rip samsung pay and bluetooth and fingerprint reader
hey guys, i think i really did everything wrong about rooting...
i tried to root my s7 edge with odin, so i flashed the newest twrp and that worked but my phone wasntn rootet, so i flashed magisk v16 from twrp after and got stucked in the samsung logo and my idea was to flash lineage 17.1 and superSu and now my internal storage is no more shown in twrp and my phone now is not even stucking in the samsung logo anymore, it stucks in the really first "samsung Galaxy edge screen" and even twrp stucks in booting screen, only thing working right now is download mode
i did everything youtubers told me and i still stuck in this screen and wanna know if theres a solution, or is there no chance left for my phone?
ofc i havent done any backups..
so at first, pls dont judge me, im really new to the scene and on youtube everything looked so easy and the second thing is my language
my english is not that good
is there a way to completely go back to stock and stock kernel or might the internal storage got damage by all the things ive done?
couldnt find any solution on xda or youtube
Try to boot into twrp again.
Flash encryption file (no verify opt encrypt 6.0.zip) for internal memory. Think this is your problem. Your memory is encrypted.

You can try this link to unbrick your phone and try to root again.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/guide-unbrick-install-stock-rom-samsung-t3550669
Hey,
I actually had kind of same problem when I tried to flash stock ROM,
I got pretty much everything wrong when I was trying to make it boot again,
so I almost bricked it.
Only download mode was working and TWRP couldn't boot,
So I left it until battery drained and phone turned off,
after that I plugged the phone into a PC, opened download mode and flashed only BL, CP and CSC in odin, one by one.
I skipped AP because it got stuck every time I tried to flash stock ROM,
But flashing TWRP was always successful.
So I flashed TWRP, successfully, and tried to boot,
and it booted, it took several restarts but it actually booted.
If you boot into TWRP you will be able to get it to work again,
by repairing or formatting partitions and flashing stock ROM after that.
