Hello guys, I proudly present to you Infinity Kernel.
It is focused on providing the best UX and a very decent battery life.
I'm using commits from known developers combined with my own changes which makes Infinity a very unique project.
I put a lot of effort on testing and benchmarking to ensure my changes are actually measurable and don't cause any regression.
Flash and enjoy!
Based on ArianK16a kernel
Compiled with latest Clang (trunk branch)
Based on latest Qualcomm sources as well as Google upstream repository
Full LTO and O3 enabled
Built-in tuning for Android
NTFS support (for OTG)
Recalculated EAS energy model (based on kdrag0n's tool)
Updated f2fs (jaegeuk f2fs-stable repository)
FUSE casefolding and passthrough support
EROFS support
F2FS compression support
LZ4 compressor updated to latest official version v1.9.4
Backports of Qualcomm drivers (up to v5.4)
Backports of various kernel subsystems (eg. psi, binder, rcu, selinux, zram)
Optimized aarch64 assembler routines
Backported and enchanted network scheduler
Backported UClamp with own tuning profile
Removed unused drivers and debugging features
Kernel size is significantly reduced
Wireguard support
IncrementalFS v2
Kernel security is unaffected in any way, none of needed security features weren't disabled.
I pay a close attention to use only high quality commits. I don't cherry-pick any unreliable changes nor magic dust tweaks.
I prefer quality over quantity.
Numbers for nerds:
avg jitter: 0.3ms
hackbench: 3.3s
zRAM compressor: LZ4
I/O scheduler: cfq
TCP congestion: bbr + fq_codel
No LMK
SourceForge
Installation via TWRP or Lineage Recovery. This kernel is compatible with erofs, f2fs compression (LZ4 only) and FUSE casefolding+passthrough.
Kernel is compatible with any modern Android version up to 13 (Tiramisu).
Note: Some boosting hints are ignored by the kernel to save power, this is completely normal and won't affect your experience.
It is recommended to backup your data before first installation!

Nope, only AOSP roms
can you set GPU Max Clock Speed to 825mhz? because thats the Stock Clock Speed of Adreno 618 but Xiaomi Underclock it to 610Mhz and im using your Infinity Kernel V6 in Mi 9T with Evolution X A13
Any chance you will be adding klapse?
Is your sound working?
I'm using infinity plus PixelExperience but it ain't working

Thanks a lot for your whole effort on Thea, it's really nice to have such mainainers
I recently switch to alucard on your kernel and when the screen is on it's stuck on 998Mhz frequency regarding kernel adiutor.
I don't know if it's the normal behaviour with alucard governor. I just want to report the (possible) issue.
Hello,
I installed on my CM12, but camera app makes force close ?
All other works OK.

Thanks a lot for this update, GPU underclocking is a really nice feature.
CPU can be underclock as well ? In future releases ?

Hi.
Im really impress by the kernel.
I hope you go advance whit sound driver and kcal.
For now the kernel feel really snapy.
Keep going and 10xs.
F2FS support ?
This kernel properly built. The interactive kernel actually cycle through the CPU frequencies properly. But for me battery life is little disappointing..I fell its draining battery as I fell the performance is very well tuned...Well done.I fell battery life can a little better and also I fell Fingerprint boost is not working because screen wakeup time is as it was with stock los kernel.
good job , gonna test it soon . thanks
I am sorry to report this
Thanks For the Kernel..

Hi all,
The main priority of this kernel is to stay always up-to-date with latest android-linux-stable, CAF, and/or Linux kernel changes. I want to keep things as simple and minimal as possible. The kernel is also focusing on battery life while maintaining performance!
Note: This kernel is compatible with Android 8-10 Treble. This kernel is not compatible with MIUI, actually it will never be.
Features:
Latest CAF msm-3.18 kernel fully merged
ext4, f2fs, sdFAT, vfat and exFAT support
Sound control, display control (KCAL) adjustments and vibration strength control
CPU governors: interactive, conservative, performance
CPU and GPU frequencies are kept stock. (CPU 652/2016. GPU 133/650)
I/O schedulers: bfq, noop, deadline, cfq
TCP Algorithms: cubic, reno, westwood
Input (touch) boost is enabled by default and it is also user configurable
Power efficient workqueues and idle power consumption is reduced to the absolute minimum
ZRAM support with many implementations for all phone variants
SafetyNet bypass code
TTL Target / IP Mangle Support
CRC32 & SHA256 crypto algorithms
Excluded all debugging symbols for kernel size reduction
Many more under the hood improvements, the code speaks for itself.
How to install:
You can install this kernel by flashing it through your favorite recovery (TWRP, OrangeFox, etc).
Please do a clean installation of this kernel (flash you roms boot.img first) in order to avoid any issues.
