I just bought it from T-mobile(USA) and was wondering if it can be easily rooted, and if someone can help me find the forum for it. Not to sure if any of these pics are needed but just in case.

You cannot unlock the bootloader on SM-S908U. You're out of luck.

Hello.is their any method to root moto g3 without unlocking bootloader ? i am on Android M
Nope. Trying to do so with 1 click tools may end up with a brick.

Exactly as @Gravemind2015 said. No. You cannot root without unlocking the bootloader. Do not attempt any other methods than described here, they can and will fail, potentially leaving you bricked.

is it possible to unlock bootloader without wiping the whole device ? I have unlocked it before and later relocked back.

No, any unlock will wipe the device doesn't matter if it's the first or 20th time.

The OEM Unlocking option is what allows you to unlock the bootloader in the first place. If you are in fastboot mode and have not toggled that option, it won't allow you to unlock the bootloader. As for relocking the bootloader, I'm not sure. Though I can't imagine you WOULD need it toggled for it.

When you relock, it turns the option off... You need to turn it back on.
Hi i was just wondering if the G FLEX 2 bootloader can be unlocked via fastboot cmd if the
"Enable OEM unlock" option is ticked in the dev options thnx
I'm pretty sure if this was the case the device would have been unlocked a long time ago lol.
That option has no effect on the bootloader, mostly because we don't have fastboot commands on this phone. It has been tried before.

I received the 7.0 update yesterday (NRD90M.N920VVRUC3QB9).
I'm Developer Options, I can turn on OEM Unlock, which says "Allow Phone to be OEM Unlocked."
Any chance this means anything as far as root or unlock?
*Giving my hopes up.*
It was there before the update.

I know that toggle. But nothing happens when it's flipped o or off. So what you mean it doesn't work like everyone thinks?

Everyone wants to think it will do like it does in stock Android where you enable that and then fastboot oem unlock to unlock the bootloader

On Verizon that doesn't unlock the bootloader all it does is prevent the FRP problems when you do a factory reset.. If you factory reset with oem unlock off then you'll need the original Google account to get the phone running again after factory resetting but with oem unlock on you don't need the original Google account it's basically for security against theft and what @tylerlawhon said is also true.
I had the oem unlock open before 10 update now its updated i cant get it ungreyed any help would be Apreciated
Does it say bootloader already unlocked under the OEM unlocking tab by any chance. It will go greyed out if unlocked, mine is.

No it is not unlocked
Fair play mate, thought I'd throw that out there just in case.
I see you was asking on the Verizon bootloader unlock thread also so hopefully you get it unlocked again.
Good luck

Probably nothing you can do, there is no other way to unlock the bootloader.
There is a chance that the unlock site isn't working, and is giving a false " not eligible" message it happens.
if that's the case you just will have to keep trying the site.
Which CID does the device have?
Code:
fastboot getvar cid

I have a cid that is ineligible, 0x0002, originally I didn't want to admit that it was impossible since it seems silly for motorola to control the phone that I own, but when I read up about the cid, yeah, it won't work, thanks for replying to me though!
Does this mean Stylus 2020's bootloader are unable to unlocked now?

0x0002 is the Verizon Cid, Verizon doesn't want the bootloader unlocked.
Verizon branded devices are rarely able to be unlocked, same for At&T.
