Can anyone tell me how to configure my 6A to be touch to answer the phone, instead of swipe? I have google searched it to death and can't find anything. I guess the phone is to new. I am still on android 12 and plan to stay there.

Hello everyone i am not sure i am posting in the right place so sorry if i am not.
I have bought a daxian 999+ today from a friend but i have some questions wich he could not answer also.
1) I have seen on some video's that this phone has touch-flo. However i can not seem to activate it. The manual says:
On any screen push with your finger on the bottom of the screen and push upwards to turn on touch flo. This does not seem to work for me. Do i need to install thos feature or am i doing something wrong.
2) Every time i want to send a text message (sms) my friend his name is displayed at the bottom of the text and he has no idea how to get rid of it he says. Does anyone know how i do this without doing a hard reset.
Greetings and thanks in advance

Can anyone help me i am still facing the same prblems
you're in the wrong place... HTC didn; make that iPhone wanna be.
Had this phone too a couple of months ago and encounterd a lot of problems...
For the touchflo: Probably your friend deleted the file from windows/startup but you can get it back by doing a hard reset (don't know the name of the file anymore, that's why I suggest a hard reset)
For the text message, go to your message settings and see if he has put in a signature...
greets
manual

search on this site is your best friend.
Ok so I understand that this is probably a setting that i must of overlooked but i've been trying to find information about it for the past few days now. A few days back i changed the option to XDA classic but decided i didn't like it so i changed it back. This is around the time i noticed the search button missing and ontop of that its overlaying on the screen messed up. It didn't do this before and i'm not sure what i did or if maybe XDA is just improving their search button and thats why i'm having problems but its starting to bother me big time. I really did search for the answers as best i could without having use of the search button but i came up empty handed. Also if i got to my name it normally brought me right to the statistics where i could find my posts and so forth but now it brings me to About Me. No big deal though since all i need to do its select statistics which is right next to it but when i go to find posts i was in or threads i started i get "vBulletin Message, Searching has been disabled". Who disabled it and if it was me how can i enable it again? I would be very greatful if someone could shed some light on this and tell me what i'm doing wrong. UHGG!! I feel so stupid because i know its probably something small i'm doing wrong.
It's problem w/ board and admins are working to fix it.
Patience.
Huge thanks.
As i said i wasn't sure if it was something i was doing but i noticed it right when i was changing the style around. Thats a huge releif knowing it wasn't from something I did. I have no problem waiting patiently.
Is it possible to remove the call timer from showing up on the screen? If you're on a call and want to play a game, search the Google or anything is, it gets in the way. I've searched the forum and also the Google with no results.

I want to know the same thing because it is so aggravating and is always in the way! Anyone with a solution??!
Not getting rid of it, but you can tap and hold to move it out of the way. It is still there just in possibly a more convenient spot.
My Pixel 2 XL became intermittent with Google maps and the online ideas for fixes did not work. So I bought a 4A-5G last month.
But answering calls is a nightmare. Call rings. I can't get to the green answer icon fast enough or if I tap it, it does not work. It goes to a second screen showing a call coming in where I have to tap again and nothing happens. Sometimes multiple tapping does nothing, and the caller hangs up. Other times I do get it to go to the answer screen where I then have to swipe up. Three screen displays to answer a phone? Dear Google: Despite all the bells and whistles, it still is a phone. I need an easier way to answer it than 3 screens.
Saying "Hey Google - answer phone" does not work. Not sure why, supposedly it is designed to work, but mine does not.
I need a phone with a simple way to answer - preferably a button like power, volume up or down. My Pixel camera app takes photographs using volume down, why not something similar for calls?
Kogan has agreed to take my phone back and send me a replacement (4A-5G out of stock) or refund my money. But what to buy? Kogan says all Android phones answer the same way. They think my glass may have a sensitivity problem, but I am wondering if peak Pixel was the 2-XL as one article wrote.
> If you have a solution that means I can keep and enjoy the 4A-5G, let me know.
> If you know how I can get the Pixel 2XL to make Google Maps work (weirdly WAZE works fine, but its voice commands are not as responsive), let me know and I will return the 4A-5G and eventually buy a replacement battery for the 2XL.
> But barring that, please recommend a phone that works. I use it to
Answer phone calls including Whats App
Take good photographs
Use google maps
Check gmail
Send and receive texts
Use Google web browser
Any Android phones that are easier to answer calls?
