Hey guys, is there any way to disable the Android 12 Location/Camera/Microphone indicator PERMANENTLY. This is one of the most annoying features of A12 so far if you have apps that have to access your location on a regular basis (like every minute or so).
I've been looking for a script or Magisk/Xposed module for almost a year now without success... What I have found is an adb command which disables it for a few hours, but it just always comes back regardless what I do.
Plssss tell me such a module exists :C

Yeah I have submitted a feature request and now finally the AOSP Mods Module for Magisk/Xposed has an option to reliably disable all indicators

Sorry if I'm in the wrong place, if so please redirect me. I'm wondering if there are any xposed modules specific to samsung tablets? I already have xuimod (basically just for animations) and wanam. I know about gravity box obviously too but wondering if there's anything else that could benefit my experience with this tab?
Also as a side note , is there a way to change settings to list view? The way they have these tabs set up drives me nuts! I'd like to keep stock from but if I can't change this through xposed than just might have to flash..

there are many modules related to Samsung
just install the closed module installer
and see download section
you will find a lot of Samsung specific modules
Modules don't have to be specific to these devices to work. Key to installing is to read through the support threads of the module to see if any touchwiz based devices have issues. If a slew of them do its a safe bet that the module isn't compatible with the Note pro. If other note tablets are confirmed to work then it's likely but not guaranteed to work. As always, keep a backup just in case you have to wipe and restore.

It is un- official??
In my opinion is almost the perfect ROM ,clean,with few but important features and OTA ,but I also find 2 problems already
1. MIUI camera doesn't have portrait mode (even in MIUI RN4 got portrait mode)
2. No option to change the LED COLOR.Even the white one is not working.I know this ROM may be universal ,but...I think it should get coloured led option
Excepting this 2 it's a great ROM

gapps are not included in most of the roms.
micro g is an alternative for google play services which doesn't steal data like google and uses bare minimum amount of ram and battery. For more information google microg.

there is an option to use google play store if you flash microg through nanodroid microg package.
you can't sync sms and calls but contacts syncing work if you choose it in nanodroid setup wizard.

Decided to give MicroG another go, previously with different ROM's always had some issues.
Surprisingly everything works great, including location backend (Apple Wi-Fi backend works for me from f-droid, DejaVu and Mozilla's doesn't), even SafetyNet passes with Magisk installed which is very surprising (it took me awhile to figure it out, basically this custom DroidGuard helper is required - https://github.com/microg/android_packages_apps_GmsCore/issues/526#issuecomment-455047320 , has to be installed manually in /system/priv-app/DroidGuard/)
Even my banking app works perfectly which is even more shocking as i dont have any Google Apps or Services running except fake Google Play lol, good job.

Hello peeps,
I found a way to hide the navigation bar on OnePlus 8T. In theory it should work for other devices too.
1. Unlock bootloader
2. Root using Magisk
3. Install Riru-LSposed
4. Follow steps to activate LSposed.
5. From LSposed Manager, go to repository and download Gravity Box for Android R. Reboot.
6. Setup gesture navigation through custom app like FNG.
6. Open Gravity Box app and in navigation settings enable master switch and uncheck enable navigation bar option.
7. Reboot and enjoy!
Tested on DotOS and OnePlus 8T KB2005. If others can confirm this method with other roms, I can add a list in this post.

GVisual and others provide system gesture navigation in full screen mode (hiding the keyboard bottom bar).
Above method helps you hide 3 button navigation bar and use 3rd party navigation apps like FNG, which do not work on Android 11 by default. I read somewhere on Xda that on oneplus 8t it was not possible to do this even after root, so I just wanted to post this and let other people know.
Hey all. Havent rooted a phone in a couple years (Thanks Samsung) and looking into rooting my 7 Pro. I know I want the ad blocker, but what else is good to use?
What is the benefits of Rooting these days?
I used to do it to flash firmwares but that does not seem to be prevalent any more, so why do I need to root?

install acc then use the acca app to control ACC. i use it to limit the max percentage the phone will charge to and the minimum at which the phone shuts down to preserve battery. it allows you to leave your phone plugged in all night and still have almost perfect battery life a year later

I love my pixel 6A but it misses some nice stuff I use to have with magisk and gravitybox in my previous phones
- long press back to quit
- easy way to start flashlight (long press power ? shake the phone? I can have it double taping back of phone but it's not rerally good and not working anymore since I have case)
- also maybe could have shortcut to start flashlight as a button on lockscreen? better than nothing
- circle battery
- and so on...
also, double sim phone is desastrous, I'm so disapointed for a google phone, no custom ringtone on each sim, my motorola edge 20 which is not very famous was doing much better!
I know there are some custom roms but each seems to have some problem and stability is very important to me.
I have magisk and exposed

I haven't used gravity box in years.
AOSP Mods is easily the best magisk module for stock roms.
