you can use the msm tool to flash an old version on your phone (depending on which model you have global , eu , india or china ) and since the global c47 i mean is the last full global rom flash to get a global rom again on it and can then continue to update to global oos12 if you want (since there are unfortunately no current full global rom packs, you unfortunately do not have the option of simply flashing the global over it via your Indian rom

Many thanks for your comments. My model is oneplus 9 Le2110. i tried msm tool but failed. tool not detect my phone. i installed all driver perfectly.

why didn't you try either;
__a local upgrade using *oos updater app for Android 12*
__ (for example to latest oos 63)
__ or a local downgrde *oos updater app for Android 12.... search for "downgrade package for op9 techibee"
..
also, if u want to try msm, and it doesn't detect your phone, watch youtube video by "techibee to go back to stock oos"

I tried. oos updater that can install same region rom like i can install android 12 indian rom from android 11 indian rom and downgrade from indian rom to indian rom. otherwise it shows verifying and fail. I already follow the techbee vedios. problem is my variant is chinese 2110 and no msm tool can't detect my phone.

msm downgrade package 11.2.4.4 on techibee website should be fine, if u already tried it, then i don't know what to tell šŸ„¹

try the moded msm too. it will convert device to global. just search it here

This method is outdated. You must use this method or you will run into problems...

here i searched it for you. be aware it will lock our phone. but the update to C48 converts your device to global (using, of course, the global c48 update)

Convert OP 7 pro Chinese Hydrogen ROM (GM1910) to a EUROPE Global ROM (GM1913)

Dear all,
I am waiting to arrive an unopened Oneplus 7 pro (GM1910) from China with, I guess Chinese ROM Hydrogen.
I just want to flash it and install the Global ROM Oxygen valid to my spanish language.
Is there any official way to do it from Oneplus?
Could you please tell me how to do it in the easiest and safe way? (links or whatever)
I have read about TWRP and Magisk but l donĀ”t know and undestand if I HAVE to do everthing they do in the tutorial videos.
Titokhan said :
GM1910 is the Chinese variant OnePlus 7 Pro running HydrogenOS (with GM21 build tag).
----> It is possible to flash both GM21AA (global) and GM21BA (EU) OxygenOS firmware on top of the HydrogenOS using the Local Upgrade method.
----> Bootloader unlocking is not necessary for switching to OxygenOS.
After conversion, you'll get OTA update from the respective branch.ā€‹
I just want to have the properly ROM for my country (Spain) and get update normally in the future.
Thanks a lot in advanceĀ”
As the quoted post implies, just download the firmware onto the the root of the internal SD card and use the local upgrade option found in the settings. Settings -> System -> System Update -> Top right gear icon -> Local Upgrade

I'm trying to do the same, but Local upgrade option doesn't work - selecting the file pops up an error message that downgrading is not allowed.
Any Idea's?

You will have to wait until the next version of the global rom is released. Looks like your copy of H2OS is newer than the OOS version you're trying to install.

i have a GM1910 too and its now running Oxygen OS 9.5.8 without any issues
I bought oneplus 7 pro model 1910 and it comes with oxyOS 9.5.8 with may security patch , is there any different between global and Chinese one when you root of flash ROMs

Question Need help recovering Oneplus 9 LE2113 with MSM tool

Hello,
While playing around with custom roms, I bricked my device when returning to the stock rom. I cannot seem to find the correct MSM tool for my device. I can only find instruction Indian or Global variant, but not for the European variant.
How can I get the tools I needed for the European Oneplus 9?

From what I'm seeing unless there is one in a thread there isn't one available. Better to wait for an msm recovery tool prior to flashing though. Guess you know that now.

Better yet they will do a remote session as long as you have a PC. They will download factory msm for Eu to your desktop and repair.

Do I have to ask OnePlus support that?
I have asked them if they could provide me the MSM files, but they wanted me to send it instead.
So should I ask tehm to do a remote session instead and where exactly do I have to do that.

Save you much time and none away from device. The do a remote session. I'd def ask for that. And you plug into the PC through adb and they will do the rest.

There's a way to do it. I had the same issue two days ago.
Flashing with the MSM Tool for the Indian variant of the OP9 Pro and checking "Lite firehouse".
Once recovered, you could use the MSM Tool for your device.
If you need any of these tools, they're posted, let me look for them and update this reply.

None of the MSM tools are going to work from the Indian version. I tried all of them. Your build is going to need to be flashed with temp TWRP and the OS build from OP support website. Once that happens, you have to do an OTA update before reboot so the Indian partition can be overwritten. That's the only thing that worked for me.
MSM cannot recognize your phone aka. Sahara Connection error? Check this.
Hi! Today i successfully bricked my OP9 to the point where the global MSM tool couldn't recognize it anymore. I tried everything, from different MSM tools to this thread. Nothing. Then, Deus ex Machina, @flameteam recommended me to try...

I was stuck with Sahara communication error from yesterday, tried mutiple drivers, cables and OP9 MSM Global,EU tool. did not work.
I downloaded the OP9 Pro India MSM tool, flashed the OS with Lite Firehouse, and then used the OP9 indian MSM tool to get back.
So use this tool as a stop gap, After the first boot use which ever tool you want to get back.
I had tons of problems until I used the right Qualcomm drivers. Nothing would flash - even the Indian Pro ROM, until I got that straightened out. I was then able to flash the T-Mo MSM without having to mess with India.
I kept getting the Param Preload failure.
Uninstall the old Qualcomm drivers and delete them. Put your phone into EDL and have it redetect the device. Then update the drivers with these.
https://onepluscommunityserver.com/list/Unbrick_Tools/Qualcomm%20drivers.7z
Biggest difference I saw right away in MSM was it switched from COM10 to COM3. Then everything worked properly.
Give it a go.

My step is, after done flash op9pro, i flash op9 india msmtool.
After that, i use oxygen updater and set my phone to EU. Then I download oos stable full for EU using oxygen updater.
Then I flash it using local upgrade.
Done.
Everything looks good as at today.

Question Has anyone found a fix yet for the Android 12 screen freeze after unbricking with the eur/in 9pro msm tool?

Even on the newest stable OOS12 build (C40) the touchscreen still doesn't work as well as the sim card.
While the Indian 9pro msm method was able to unbrick my phone, it seems to have broken the firmware in a weird way. I flashed the global stock OOS11 rom and thought I returned my phone back to it's out of the box state. One thing I noticed was the country code when logging into the community app was locked in for India. Then of course when I updated to android 12 (C39, then C40), I cannot use the touchscreen and the sim won't work. Is there any way to fix this? I can still use my phone via USB OTG.
How did you flash global stock oos11 rom? Did you use fastboot or the global msm tool? Also what version of the oneplus 9 do you have?

I have the global NA OnePlus 9. In my post above I used fastboot to flash global oos11 using this tutorial but keep in mind you can't update to android 12 with this method and you won't have a "pure" oos11 rom.
I've since come across a better method that fixed all my issues, getting me to the truly pure out of the box global oos11 rom (which now updates to oos12 flawlessly). See here.
Note the param part, I am pretty sure the aa file he provided is only for the north American global op9.

How To Guide All of those stuck on Indian firmware, rejoice! I modded the global MSM!

Long story short, I bricked my device today, had to use the Indian 9 Pro firmware to fix it as the global MSM wasn't recognizing it, and was very frustrated I couldn't go back to full global firmware.
I figured out how to fix this. Just use it like any other MSM Tool, click the dropdown in the left and switch to IN.
This isn't a technical support thread, there are plenty of threads around here for the MSM Tool and the issues that arise when trying to use it. As you can see, I didn't have to use the lite firehose even but most people seem to have problems if they don't so just do what worked for you before.
Also, this is not for people who haven't flashed their global variant with the Indian 9 Pro variant. I'm not responsible if you mess up your device by flashing it to a real Indian 9 Pro or under any other circumstances!
EDIT: Also, I tested it just now, and this successfully updated to 11.2.10.10 and then C.48 with working touchscreen using the stock OTA updater!
EDIT2: I can also confirm that the original global MSM Tool works again after flashing this so my device was 100% returned to a stock global unit.

Question Easiest/best way to get to stock Android 13?

So I've got a TMobile OnePlus 9 that's been converted to the global ROM. From here what's the easiest way to get updated to stock OxygenOS Android 13? When I run the system update in settings it'll update to Android 12 but the phone says that there's no sim card in. Am I doing something wrong? I don't mind unlocking the bootloader and flaking a recovery if there's a stock rooted zip I can flash.
I've tried myself but updating anything to 12 and up my touchscreen stops working, but using the TMobile India modded MSM should work getting to the global rom "but now realizing it was cuz I used something else to recover from a brick" but here
Safely convert regions (includes T-Mobile) as well as restore the ability to use OOS12 after using Indian MSM to recover from a brick (Windows only)
It seems lots of us have had to use the India 9 Pro MSM to recover our devices and in the process, we lose the ability to go back to OOS12 or ROMs based on that firmware because the touchscreen stops working and also trying to convert T-Mobile...

this doesn't work for my device le2119 the mod fix zip throws an error unsupported device eu. I made the mistake of activating slot b. is there any way of switching back without fastboot. all I get is a black screen no matter what button combo I press. I can only get edl and I'd rather not flash the eu msm again.

ive gotten the same error too, im on 11.2.10.10, but cant upgrade to OOS12/13 without the touchscreen breaking/dual sim bug, i forgot the link to the 9 pro india msm to flash it with, but ive tried flashing one that was 9 pro and kept getting "device not match image", no clue why
I just read somewhere that downgrading to 11.2.2.2 may work but only place I can find that firmware is on some Chinese site. I can flash the eu pro version all day long. but now I tried flashing an India mod firmware with no success and reflasjed eu again but phone is stuck at 0% power and all I get is a bootloop
