Bypass Mi Account Activation Screen - Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC Questions & Answers

Hello!
I have bought Poco X3 Indian Variant 1.5 years ago. I have all things that tell I m the rel owner of this device. After one month, i managed to unlock the bootloader by official method. From that time, I used various AOSP ROMS and sometimes custom MIUI ROMS. Sometimes i also flashed official stock rom from fastboot but i always choosed c"lear all" only. I did this when there was official stable update from the xiaomi. after flashing official fastboot rom, i just use the rom for couple of hours and immediately i flashed twrp and flashed latest AOSP ROMs cuz i had still unlocked BL.
1 month ago, I was on Arrow 12 ROM. I downloaded 12.5.8.0 indian fastboot rom and flashed via flash tool from mi. but this time i wrongly choosed "save userdata" option in the flash tool. i saw this while process was on. after successful completion, device rebooted to the system and asked for mi password to use the device. but my password didnt work. i checked the mi account and number but both are different from my own. i rebooted my device to the fastboot mode and tried to unlock the device, but it successfully unlocked my device. i checked in mi webite there was still my poco x3 attched in my account.
after unlock, i again flashed the same rom but this time i chosed "clear all" option and successfully flashed the rom and device rebooted but again i got new mi account that didnt associate with me. the registered mobile number starts with +1 but my country has +977.
i tried miui androi 10 rom from fastboot but same thing happened i.e. different mi account and mobile number.
till then i m using custom AOSP roms. last week i tried custom MIUI roms but it asked password for the same id that didnt belong to me.
i m using custom aosp roms these days (project sakura 5.2). I m going to sell the device so i want to flash official miui rom but i am not getting my own mi account after flashing any miui rom (both official and custom , both recovery and fastboot).
I still have unlocked BL. how cn i bypass the mi account and add my own account again so that i can sell this pcoc x3.
please help

Issue solved. i found original persist.img from the device which has no mi account logged in. i flashed this image and flashed miui custom rom and didnt get the device is locked message.
now i have successfully added my real own mi account and it is showing in the mi account info too

How did you load the persist.img file? You can't do this on a bootloader locked phone?

Question about Fastboot + Miflash + Unlocked Bootloader using unofficial method!

Hello everyone!
I bought a mi 4c from gearbest which came with a custom\unofficial possibly full bloatware rom, because of this i decided to install the last version of miui for mi 4c from xiaomi.eu! To do this i had to unlock my bootloader, yes my bootloader was looked because before i thought about xiaomi.eu rom, i had installed the lastest stable chinese rom by using the rom updater which i think that it looked the bootloader when i did this. I don't know if the bootloader was looked or not while i had that custom rom on the phone because i did not check it.
So my bootloader was looked and i wanted to install TWR to install the xiaomi.eu rom because of the international support and because of google services and play store which i had tried to install in the chinese stable rom but i had failed miserably to do so! So i want to install TWR but i did not want to wait for the sms with the code to unlock my phone because i had read people complaining that the code takes a long time to arrive and etc! So to solve my problem i used this unofficial way to unlock my bootloader -> http://en.miui.com/thread-247961-1-1.html <- which worked and i got my bootloader unlock, installed TWR and the lasted xiaomi.eu rom for mi 4c
/\ I regret using the unofficial method to unlock my phone, because two days later o got the sms with the code Haste is the enemy of perfection!
But now i want to go back to stable chinese rom because my phone is overheating and throttling a lot and also the GPS works really bad which it did not on the chinese rom!
Now for the doubts:
1 - If i use Fastboot + Miflash to flash the last stable chinese rom, is there the risk of bricking my phone? Because of the way i had unlocked my bootloader i mean?
2 - Is there way to lock the bootloader again, so i can unlock it the right way? I mean using mi unlock and the code that i've received? It will make any difference using the official way in relation to the unofficial way, it will be worth it i mean?
1. only risk is you have a power blackout
2. you can, fastboot oem lock
Hi! Please I really need your experience
I will receive my new Mi 4c with the Bootloader Unlocked from the re seller , Rooted and with Multi language ROM.
Do I have to unlock the bootloader with the official method (which means flashing Cina Dev ROM -to re lock the bootloader- and go on with the Xiaomi's code procedure..) or it is possible to get all things done as soon I get my device by choosing an unofficial weekly miui.eu international ROM and install it normally from the Updater app but also be able to update it every week via Updater without issues?
My problem with flashing is that I don't have my laptop and the one I have now runs win xp.

1. i suppose no, it will only brick if you have TWRP recovery flashed to recovery partition. My workaround is to never flash TWRP in the first place, but boot to TWRP from Fastboot every time i want to flash something. definitely a hassle but should be guaranteed to work. Never tried though, i am fine with CM ROM and unlocked bootloader.
2. If i read correctly, the latest dev ROM will lock the bootloader back. So if you want to unlock, you must flash the old MIUI version as suggested in the unofficial unlock method again.

you can unlock via unofficial method. Win XP should be able to flash it. CMIIW though
Thanks but it's not necessary anymore ..I've changed the Mi4c with Mi4.

Redmi Note 4 ROM Flashing Issue

I have a Redmi Note 4 with locked Bootloader and no root access. I flashed MIUI 9 Global Developer ROM earlier via XiaoMiTool(by Francesco Tescari). Now I am attempting to flash the Global Stable ROM but am unable to do so. I tried flashing it by the XiaoMiTool, it showed errors every time I tried.
I downloaded a Global Stable ROM package from en.miui.com/download-309.html and tried updating it through the updater app in my phone but was unable to install the ROM by this method as well(I tried flashing this ROM by the XiaoMiTool, it said an unlocked bootloader is required to flash the ROM). I have already applied for the Bootloader Unlock request for over a month and have recieved no response as of yet.
Is there any other method to unlock Bootloader without asking for official permission? Or is there any way to install the Global Stable ROM without unlocking the Bootloader? please help!

Fix miui can't be installed on this device, also anti 4 ubl and downgrade possibility

Hi, I just found a thread on MIUI forum which inspire me
http://en.miui.com/thread-3450268-1-1.html
Kudos to the OP in that thread
I tried the tutorial to one of my friend's Note 5, the tutorial works, so now we know that DOWNGRADING FROM 8.82 GLOBAL TO 8.7.26 GLOBAL IS POSSIBLE
Now I need someone with bricked devices because of downgrading to try it, you must download fastboot room first and sideload it to your redmi note 5
Here is the summary and the short version of the already short tutorial (lol), also some fixes needed, for those stuck in "MIUI CANT BE INSTALLED ON THIS DEVICE" error AND NEED AUTHORIZATION CODE TO FLASH
ALSO FOR THOSE IN ANTI 4 WITH FAKE UBL (MAINLY DEVICES SOLD IN INDONESIA), WHO WANT TO FLASH CHINA ROM AND BIND THE MI ACCOUNT TO THE DEVICE TO LATER REQUESTING UNLOCK TO XIAOMI
FOR THOSE WHOSE DEVICES ARE BRICKED BECAUSE OF DOWNGRADING, YOU CAN TRY TO DOWNLOAD THE FASTBOOT ROM AND FLASH IT WITH THE SAME STEP, NEVER TESTED IT WITH EDL MODE, SO ANYONE?
1. Xiaomi Tool
2. XiaomiTool ADB
3. MI FLASH PRO
4. ROM GLOBAL 9.5.19
5. ROM GLOBAL 8.7.26
6. ROM GLOBAL 8.8.2
7. ROM CHINA 8.7.26
8. DRIVER2 QUALCOM, ADB DLL YG BISA DICARI DI POST LAIN
THE STEPS :
1. FLASH YOUR NOTE 5 TO 8.8.2 GLOBAL ROM USING MI FLASH PRO
2. OPEN CMD AND SIDE LOAD USING XIAOMITOOL ADB, COMMAND IS xiaomiadb sideload_miui<spasi>namafile.zip. WHICH IS miui_HMNote5HMNote5ProGlobal_8.7.26_d7fb438aef_8.1.zip. YOUR DEVICE WILL BE DOWNGRADED TO 8.7.2.6 GLOBAL ROM
3. NOW FLASH YOUR PHONE USING ANY TOOL LIKE XIAOMITOOL TO 8.7.2.6 CHINA
4. VOILA, IT WORKS NOW
don't know when Xiaomi will close this bug hole, so try it while you can
Tried to downgrade from 8.82 Global Rom to 8.726 Rom Global, later flashed the China 8.726 rom and it worked
It means we still can downgrade, I think this is a bug in xiaomi server, can anyone use this bug for our advantage?
Thanks

1. if your device was on china rom from the very begining. you flashed global rom over china rom without unlocking BL, and phone got bricked (This MIUI version can not be installed on this device)

There should have been note posted about that guide: -
NOT FOR DEVICES HARD BRICKED BY DOWNGRADING ON ARP!
You still need access to recovery/fastboot for that tutorial to work.

Mi Mix 2S Hard Bricked - No auth

Hi. My friend has a Mi Mix 2S and he bought it as a Global Unlocked Version... Like always, it turned out to be a china specific device and he accidentally flashed global rom with miflash and it was set to "Clean and Lock"... Now the device keeps boot looping into recovery and says "This Miui version cannot be installed in this device"... I tried via test point but my account is not authorized. Is there any other unofficial way to recover my device without paying anymore to s-unlock or any other shady services? Regards, InfernoWolf19.

have you tried boot to bootloader and reflash China rom ? I think the miui package ended with tgz can be unzipped and run flash_all script from fastboot
