Hello boys and gals,
I need help activating the reverse camera on CC3 Teyes unit with the 360 camera kit already fitted. Selecting reverse is displaying the 360 view and all the modes, but we are trying to achieve a rear view mirror function with the AHD camera mounted up the top. Is there a special app that needs to be downloaded or it is in the factory settings somewhere?
Would be ideal if we could have the 360 for parking and the AHD displayed in the home screen when driving.
Thanks you!

Hi marchnz, I didn't try the sales in AU. Seems too technical to get this answer from them. The online search about technical issues with this particular equipment took me here a few times. I already found a ton of good information on this forum about other questions I had on my mind.

Hi. I've tried searching this forum for answers and even found a thread about "all secrets" of capturing Pocket PC screens. However, I have not been able to find any information about how to video record the screen on my phone. I'm running WM6 on a HTC Hermes. I'd like to be able to video record my screen so I can do a review. Thanks!

Thanks a lot! But I'm not really sure that program works. It doesn't allow you to set the file to which the program will be captured.
Any other programs? Preferably one that isn't still in beta.
it's a google search if the first link is not good enough try the next and repeate untill you found what you are looking for or loose hope
that would most people who dident already know of a program would do for you anyway
I do appreciate your insight, but I was hoping that someone who actually knows about the subject would chime in with their expertise. Anyone can do a google search and exhaust the possible options, which I've done. Hence I've turned to this forum in hopes of finding someone that has done this and can lead me in the right direction.
i agree but the pro and cons with posting it in the general forum are
pro
more exposure so more people who may have insight can contribute
con
lots more posts in this forum then in maybe the hermes forum so your post will have a shorter time before being pushed out of the main page
Have a look at Soti it offers a video capture mode which works very well http://www.soti.net/default.asp?Cmd=Products&SubCmd=PCPro - add to that the ability to skin the virtual device you can make very slick looking presentations/ screen captures - Mike
Thanks! That what I was looking for.
Here's what I had to have video for: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zD5zhHl4RU4 . I wanted to demonstrate the accuracy of Live Search with GPS on my Hermes.
That is a neat example of GPS in use - I like the video - Mike
cool vids...another reason to love my tytn II
Hello,
I'm looking for a solution to receive values of the "Laser Sensor", which LG G3 has built in. I searched Google, asked at stackoverflow and read the Google Android API Documentation a lot of times - but I didn't get the information I need.
Three weeks ago, I asked LG's support. They told me they will send my question to the developer department. I'm still waiting for an answer / reaction.
So I thought I will maybe get some information about this sensor if I decompile LGs Camera App - but reading the code is very confusing for me. :-/
At the moment I'm searching for a solution to take control over the infrared diode and the receiver by using adb and echoing values to sys/class/...-files.
But I didn't get something useful.
Kind XDA-people, if anybody know how to control/trigger (what ever) this infrared diode & sensor, please let me know.
Last night I was out taking pictures of Comet Lovejoy and the Pleiades using my Canon 1100D with 50mm lens on an Astrotrac tracking mount. I was using DSLR Controller software for focus and framing and decided to try to use the intervalometer function to control exposures. The intervalometer worked fine, but I couldn't find out how to view the images as they came in on DSLR controller with the intervalometer running. Does anyone know if this is possible and if so how do I do it?
Thanks

Hi there,
I'm new to this android stuff, I use a... Uh, okay I use a different phone...
I'm blind and am exploring android with one goal... To see again. Okay, maybe that was a little over blown but let me explain before asking for some help from you lovely people.
There is an app called 'the vOICe', by seeing with sound, their home page here:
(Noticed I can't post links, do a search for seeing with sound and the voice and you'll find the one, it's also on the app market, just don't mistake it for the app accompanying the TV series...)
Who are using a system to help blind see. In a nutshell, it scans an image from left to right and layers sound using different frequencies to represent the image. I'm sorry if I'm a bit vague about this as I've not really had a chance to fully experiment with it. In short, it turns visual images into sound and it would appear that some fantastic results are coming from it and actual stimulation of the visual cortex is happening. In effect, the android device is the a to d, and the user's brain is the d to a. Amazing.
The problem is, currently it's not very usable. It can process a live stream from a video camera built into an android device but, of course, no one wants to wonder around with a 6 inch sudo-tablet strapped to their forehead. There was some excitement with the idea of google glass, however, aside from it not coming to light, I'd not really want to spend several hundred pounds on a device which I can use for just one thing. Okay, now the specifics...
I want to be able to route a webcam, or a similar camera into an android device, the device to accept the images from the camera and to process them into sound using the vOICe app. From what I understand from the Doctor who is pushing this forward and the inventor of the system, android does not yet allow external cameras to act as the native camera device. Can you help?
My perfect rig, and I'm making the huge assumption that it's the rig that most blind people would settle for, is the phone in my pocket, a hat or headband containing a camera, and a pair of headphones, preferably bone conduction as they give better awareness.
My question, my request is for someone to help make my device accept a video camera through usb and use the vOICe app to process the image.
Thank you in advance.
Olz
PS... I'm new to all of this, so I apologise if I've posted in the wrong place. If admins could move this post to the right place if I have messed up, I'd be very grateful.

Hi, Thanks for using XDA assist
There is a general forum for android here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help where you can try to ask to get expert's help.

Im trying contact with seller, in this moment their asked for order number.. Any update i'll post here.
Solved, it was the yellow wire of the camera, both sides were being fed 12v when only 1 side is needed (Or reverse light, or brown wire G5).
