Other carrier SIM with rooted D850?

Is it possible to use other carrier SIM cards with an unlocked D850? I am currently traveling and don't want to pay the usury ATT rates on international data and voice. Bought a SIM from a local carrier but am getting asked for SIM network unlock code. I am assuming that until the bootloader is unlocked there is nothing that can be done about this.
Bootloader lock has nothing to do with sim lock or network lock. In order to sim unlock your device you could go ebay and search after lg g3 unlock code, follow the instructions provided and then you could use any sim, any network you want with your device.
Yup, unlocked for use on other networks and an unlocked bootloader are two completely separate things.
If you need an unlock code, I don't have personal experience, but I have friends who have reported success with imei-unlocker.com

Unlocking Sprint S5

I'm considering unlocking an S5 I have laying around and using it on a prepaid service for a cheaper monthly bill. My question is can I just get the unlock code from sprint or is there extra steps I must take ? Also when I unlock it can I use gsm Roms on it ??

All the info you need is there on how to domestically unlock the phone. You will not be able to run GSM roms, you're still limited by hardware

Invalid SIM Card error message on Sprint-unlocked SM-G900P with T-Mobile SIM.

I called Sprint and had them unlock my rooted, stock-Android 6.01 (G900VPU3PCA) SM-G900P Galaxy S5 for domestic and international. Sprint also gave me a 6-digit MSL unlock code.
I inserted a new, T-Mobile SIM card into the unlocked S5 and I activated the SIM card on T-Mobile's website. However, the phone displays "Invalid SIM Card" in the notification area, and I get no voice or data. I tried restarting a few times. I also tried dialing ##72786# to reset the PRLs a few times. It won't activate. It still displays "Invalid SIM Card".
T-Mobile reps say to call Sprint.
Sprint reps double checked that it is unlocked and said that:
1) For Sprint phones built prior to February 2015 (like the Galaxy S5, but not the S6, S7, etc.), unlocking only truly works for non-US SIM cards & international use.
2) Domestic unlocks only work if the domestic carrier is willing to work with you to reprogram your phone using the "unlock" MSL code that Sprint gives you when you have them unlock the phone. T-Mobile is not willing to help me reprogram the phone.
3) I did find a site (idoneapps.com) that claims to be able to unlock the phone and fix the "Invalid SIM card" error for $35. But for that price, I'd rather just sell my Sprint GS5 and buy a T-Mobile GS5 because the Sprint G900P doesn't support T-Mobile's LTE bands. (It only supports HDSPA+, which is probably fast enough, but may not be common throughout the USA).
Can anyone help me figure out how to get this phone activated on T-Mobile without paying a fee?
I struggled with this. Idoneapps used to have a free version that worked for unlocking but it has since been scrubbed from the web. I went ahead and paid for the service, and it workeds well.
Since you got the unlock code and already performed the unlock. I recommend getting the free galaxy tools app that was made prior to it becoming idone.
I used version 3.12
Check sim lock status, if still locked go ahead and unlock then use idoneapps recommended steps to enable tmobile service.
You need to change the gfc settings. This might let you use another sim card.
Sent from my SM-G900P using XDA-Developers mobile app

Sim unlock so phone can be used on other networks

Is it possible to unlock the z3 xperia so that it can be used in other countries/mobile service providers ?
I have found sites online that offer a unlock code that you need to buy. just seeing if it's possible to do myself.
In theory Yes you can do it. It requires a tweak to remove the sim restriction so you can use other but you may be affected by LTE connectivity. Check the Z3V form to see
