So basically, the "normal" edition is the clean, simple, Google stock edition, the "Plus" edition is the normal one + some customisations.

I have no idea about that, please check if this isn't an app-related bug, If it's not provide logs or I won't be able to help you.

If it helps, my Spotify logged in from the first attempt. This could be a temporary issue with Spotify.

Any chance we can get VoLTE and VoWIFI working with this ROM? Any manual changes that we can do to enable these services?
This doesn't seem to be an issue with Pixel Experience ROMs. There are ROMs which have these services working. But they are for other devices.
So...is this a hardware thing? Is it because this device is using an Exynos chip, whereas the other one (Moto G60 for example) is using a Qualcomm chip?
However, there seem to be ways to add this on Moto One Action...and there's even a thread here on xda about it. But it seems to be for Android 11, in case that makes a difference, and it's only for VoLTE. No WiFi Calling.
This is not a request in any way. I'm super happy that we have this ROM here. And I'm super grateful to the dev/maintainer for that. I know it's not an easy task to build and maintain an Android ROM. So kudos for that!
I'm just trying to understand more about these services on custom ROMs like this one, and why some of them do have these services, where others don't. And also, if there's any way to add them somehow.

It should work, most files responsible for calling etc. are forked from Android 11.
What's interesting is that I do have VoLTE with LineageOS and Evolution X, if I manually add IMS APN, but not with this ROM... Kinda weird.
Still no idea how to add VoWIFI, in case that's possible. I mean, it should be possible...I think it's probably just an xml somewhere. But I don't know where, or how, or what to change. If anyone knows, please, let me know.
Also, related to this ROM, sometimes, after using it for a while, the recent apps carousel (swipe up) is freezing. And window rounded corners disappear, they become rectangles. Sometimes it just fixes itself after a while. But the whole UI becomes unresponsive during that time.
Bug (probably already known): when you drag down the notification shade, part of the clock is obstructed by the camera cutout.
Also, for as far as I can see, we should have VoLTE with Pixel Experience, according to this: https://github.com/PixelExperience/frameworks_opt_net_ims
But..maybe it's a bug?
I've been using it since launch, it's wonderful considering it's the initial version. Congratulations. so far the only problem is with Widevine.
Thank you for this ROM, it has lotta features and passes SafetyNet without magisk.

The clock inside the camera also happens on stock.

Please disable default cam and install other gcam, I'll fix it in next update
Rom works very well!!
But I have 2 problems now, the camera doesn't work and the background of the song on the lock screen when I'm using any player (PowerAMP, Spotify, YT Music) doesn't work

I second this.. can't access SD card as storage so all music ROMs etc stored there I can't copy or use. Couldn't get a fast operating useful gcam to work. Went back to 10.0 version.
some sensors no work good. like orientation. when i use lever apps. bubbles no move
I appreciate your work but I found are several problems in the rom.
These are the follows:
1, The pocked mode is not working, when you get out the device from your pocket the screen stays dark, even if any notification is still not opened.
2, if you switch on the screen on option for a tilt angle also not working.
3, The waving over the screen by your hand to wake up the screen also not working. It worked after the first install.
4, The knock wake up is problematic, when the phone is in deep sleep the know still not wake up the screen.
5, In a call when you plug the headset it's randomly mute the microphone.
A pre installed camera working in the messaging apps (whatsAPP, Viber) but not in a standalone. I installed another camera app.
I found an issue with the stock launcher. Sometimes when I open an app it freezes on the splash screen and it won't let me close or open other apps. Only reboot fixes it. Using another launcher right now
I found another bug.
The tethering can be start, and can be connect to the phone but doesn't provide mobile network.
Hello everyone, I see there are minor issues here and there like nightlight, usb and others idk, it's an alpha build as we see android 11 development just started, hopefully next build should fix everything and should be usable as daily driver even now it's usable as daily driver I guess, thanks for reporting the issues and supporting the ROM.

Gyroscope sensor and few sensors are not working properly in this ROM. Please try to fix this as soon as possible. Over-all the pixel extended experience was good and very free to use.

I have found one more bug. "Styles and Wallpapers" crashes when you try to click on "Styles" to change the system color theme. Or it's only me who face this issue
First things first, tank you for working to bring this ROM for whydead whyred, i'm glad to comeback to PE. Now, i did not find any fatal bug so far, but it seems that the kernel don't support KCAL, and -you can guess it- my device has screen retention, if possible, can you please add support in the next release? Much obliged.

Encountered a really strange issue, cannot use apps like Tidal & Netflix when on wifi they say network issue, tried on mobile data it worked and after initial startup I can switch to wifi and use it.
Can confirm nothings wrong with my wifi I can use both on my computer just fine.
I got some problem with network..when I change 3G to 4G the LTE icon gone and the network connection connect and disconnect repeatedly..UI freezing problem are here..so far everything good for me..hope our new dev will solve every problem..

Tap and quickly release rather than tap and hold when registering
Thank you for your effort. I have used your ROM. I think it is great. I hope you can continue to update it. The bugs currently encountered include the inability to use wired headsets, and the inability of Chinese telecom operators to make calls and send and receive text messages.

i love this Rom! unfortunately no working wired AA for me. I have tried all other roms in this forum based on pure android 11, but unfortunately no working wired AA i read about some bug with the newer Gapps and AA? anyone have an idea how we can get wired AA working?

Its Currently not possible due to the way that Samsung configure VoLTE and WiFi calls. Samsung enable it in a proprietary way and not by the standard Google API. You will only get VoLTE and WiFi calls on OneUI based roms

Awesome ROM!
One bug i found was video recording. All recordings, no matter back or front cam, sounds very faster...it's like they were recorded at x2 speed. Any solutions for this? I've tried with the stock cam and many others apps but always with same results.

so far, so good! I did have a FC crash on the initial setup but it self recovered and worked fine! I am building it out but it looks really good so far! out of the box passing SafetyNet is nice, I was quite surprised to see Netflix show up BEFORE I tweaked anything (MAGISK/ROOT/ETC), it just worked (which is fantastic)!
Anyone else having WiFi drop using 5G or is it my openwrr? Normal works fine but when I switch to 5G using my openwrt router it drops but no other android 12 happens. Normal is fine and originally setting up my device was fine, it wasn't until a system app updated that it's started dropping so I'm testing a few things to see if I rule it down.
EDIT, NM, it was the adaptive connectivity, I turned that off and bingo. No more issues so that was my own doing but NOT a ROM issue!
Is this ROM only for Coral? Or it can be installed on Flame too? Thank you!

I am not the dev on this, but I did search the website download and couldnt find anything for the PX4 - flame (but you could check with the dev):
is there an option to kill an app by long pressing the back button in this rom ?
This ROM is super smooth. Loving every bit of it and a huge improvement on stock android 12. Keep up the excellent work!
I have a question though since I've been out of the game for a while now, is root able to be installed on android 12 and still pass safetynet?
Are the steps for this ROM to be rooted to install the magisk app, patch the boot.img of this ROM, and install magiskhide afterward, or am I missing something? Thanks in advance

Just patch the boot.img with magisk and then fastboot flash that. The rest idk because I don't root. But it guess you need the universal safetynetfix if that's still a thing?

Dual App isn't a native feature of Pixel Extended, so isn't here.
Hey Google should have worked, although I don't use it myself
New update now out.
Now including MIUI Camera and so both normal lens and telephoto lens is working by default.
I've also updated the maintainer tag if you go into the about section.

Hi. The new camera app is not saving photos to storage. It also crashes the first time it is used. (in permissions).

Hi, there is a problem with emojis.
Don't show in SMS, we send them or it's shows in the outgoing message but the message received is blank even if I sent to my self.

SMS messages are working fine for myself. Have you tried using the default Google messages app?
Now is with Google app.
The only problem I found in the ROM. Not sure if this is some config.
I installed the ROM from stock Miui 12.5 CN.
Changed interface scale and text scale.
Not sure if this affects emojis output.
A see them if someone sent me emojis the problem is when I send them.
Wanted you to know this ROM works on my Mi Mix 3.
Only issue I found is that the camera app crashes sometimes. ( loses connection)
Very easy install, starting with Global image, installed TWRP using XioaTool V2, manually installed Magisk-v25 from TWRP, wiped everything and formatted data. Using external USB drive to install from.
Very clean and phone performance is very good.

Regarding the issues with the camera, I'm sorry.
I'll be reverting to the stock camera for Pixel Extended for it's stability. I'm trying to work out if that camera can support both lenses but even without, I'll provide the next update when it's available

Don't have to apologize, Thank you for the good work! Just realized that I have put my Pixel 4a 5g aside and use my mix 3 as a daily driver.
Hi, can anyone test emojis in SMS? just try to send to yourself a SMS with emojis and see if they appear.
Apart from that the ROM seems very good and bank apps work without problems.
Tried to install again without luck, other ROMs like MIUI.EU 12.5 works fine with emojis. Don't know why I can't send them in this ROM but I can receive fro other person.
