What recovery to use to flash? tried Kraken rom recovery just says

I used PE12 recovery
thank you for every ones help FIXED
The strange error i got was due to the new firestick 4 MAX plugged in to my tv but powered from my PC so when i tried to flash to phone it errored out saying

Definitely a good rom give it a try, and if you are facing random ui lags just flash dora kernel as perf+ is not that good

nice, 2 weeks not bad
Hi, seems like there is some instability while connected by cable to PC. It constantly gets disconected and connected in random timeline. Sometimes nothing for longer time (around 2-3 minutes) sometimes it disconects connects 10 times in 15 seconds.

Hi tried to install from pbrp and got this error assert failed: update_dynamic_partition(package_extract_file("dynamic_partitions_op_lists")) and if I remove assert line from script then I get error E2001: Failed to update vendor image, any solutions please?

Never mind I reflashed the pbrp with latest version and now it's working, sorry for any trouble.
When the stable version will be released I am waiting for it

After unlocking bootloader i flashed vbmeta and recovery images and now i am unable to go to recovery mode i end up here after pressing volume down and power button please help...

Hi dev,i think this rom having moemory leak or something alike issue,by the time using my phone with this rom,the "Android Kernal" process shows in dev options,it's ram usage grows higher and finally leads google board unable to show and every app could not stay in background then the whole phone becomes very laggy and make me had no choice but to restart the phone,and it happens about every 24hrs to 36hrs,i hope you could investigate in this problem thank you.

well after flashing this via fastboot.exe it i can boot normally but when i enter the correct lockscreen pin then Android UI crashes and restart asking me to enter lock pin again and then it crashes again over and over again btw i am using traditional chinese system language and when i rollback to 220711 build's boot.img everything goes normal

Nope unless you want decryption. Also dont forget to update recovery if u are staying encrypted

Camera is working normal? After clean flash (Format Data) camera is crashing when i open. In others apps both cameras (front and back) are normal working.
Recently did a clean install after formatting data but upon initial checks, camera app fails to open and says "Camera keeps stopping"

The 'select' feature is not included in ROM cause the launcher is based on launcher 3. U can use pixel extended launcher instead.

Great Rom for daily use, came at the right time i lost hope on new roms for pixel 4a.
@Unknownbitch Could you add icon shareps if possible in future builds, everything great with this rom so far, just missing icon shpes feature.
Wow, this rom is damn stable and fluid. The only bugs I have is that now playing and live caption are not working. It says "downloading song database" and "update your software to use live caption".
Despite this, everything is working great, thanks to all the devs involved in this project.

hi, i am unable to install project elixir on my pixel 4a (android 13), do i need a custom recovery?
Long story short:
dev options : check
root : check
google research : check (i'm on it since 2 days)
adb devices : my device is found
problem : adb sideload projectelixir.zip -> error 21 something like cannot verify the whole file
if someone can explain what i've miss it'll be very nice!
ps: sorry for my bad english, french people suck at speaking english ...

First u have to boot into the boot.img provided in the download link then do adb sideload

You can find flashing instructions in download section for Pixel 6A on Project Elixir site, you'll find Elixir recovery in there too

EDIT: Unsure if this is the right way, but I was able to extract boot.img using payload-dumper-go.exe

Flashed the rom and liked it in the first instance. It's the one which is quite distinct in its ui. Thank You
REally good Rom - ran it for a few days. It's FAST! and everything worked fine - all apps worked fine as well. I did have high battery drain...it "felt" like the CPU was juiced to the gills as the phone was also running hot. But everything ran fast and worked
