Question Speaker problem on online meetings. - Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Hello friends.
I'm having a problem with the phone. It is s22 ultra exynos.
The other party's voices are not heard during the meeting with zoom or any other similar meeting application on chrome.
My image and sound are going across. only the image of the other side is coming. No matter what I did, I couldn't get any sound.
I checked chrome permissions and other settings. Although there is no problem, I could not solve it somehow.
Could you help with this? If this question has been asked before I apologize as the topic comes up. As a last resort, I am disturbing you here. Thank you everyone in advance.
Note: During the meeting, I request and give permission for the relevant application camera and microphone. The green light on the top panel also turns on, informing me that chrome is using the microphone. But as I said, I can't hear the voice of the other party.

Did you try with team app instead of a browser?

My meeting that i told is going on browser. Its school online lessons. No application using.

Yeah, I misread, nowhere did you mention Teams. Can you check if there is volume control in chrome browser interface when on the call
Can then hear you? Also, restart the phone

Yes they can hear and watch me. I can only watch them, cannot hear. I tried everything but no solution.

Few Problems

I have a few problems that occur on every rom I flash.
1. When ever I make a call or call someone, it uses the speaker phone by default.
2. The Car Home app opens randomly and can be annoying.
3. I cant change the media volume when headphones are plugged in.
- The volume is at it's loudest and there is no way for me to change it.
If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I would search and check other threads before opening new ones. There is an ongoing conversation about the speakerphone issue and I believe it has to do with GoSMS. Not going into detail here as like I said there is another thread already developed. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1242116
If your volume is at max then it is at max. Or do you mean since it is at max, you can't lower it? Might also be an issue related to GoSMS. Never heard anyone mention about this before.

Sorry, I searched in the Q&A forum, but I didn't think to search in the General forum. I never used GoSMS so that can't be the problem.
If I plug in head phones and try to listen to music, the volume is always at it's loudest and I cant lower it (tried using volume bottons and in the settings).
I think all these issues have something to do with the Car Home app. Also thanks for your reply.
Edit: I removed the Car Home app from the zip and re-flashed. The media volume problem is fixed now but even though I removed the application, it still says in the notification bar that it's running. And speaker is the default option when I try calling someone.
I have seen people with issues with the car home app. But I can't recall if it was in the inspire section or the desire HD section. Goodluck.
Ok, thanks for trying at least.

[Q] Asus TF101 Problem with Google+ Hangouts

As we all know, Google updated their Google+ app to include the ability to start and join mobile hangouts from within the messenger portion of the Google+ app. And the good news is that I can get in to the video chats. I can hear the other person talking and everything. The only thing that is bad is that the other people cannot hear me. When I check the little microphone icon in the bottom left to see if maybe I have it disabled, it seems that it is by default set to disabled and I cannot change it. I double checked to see if my microphone was faulty but the sound recorder app works fine. Anyone have any resolutions? I've been searching the internet up and down and can't find anything.
I don't know if I'm the only one with this problem but I hope not and hope someone can help.
Nothing? I'm desperate here...
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
Well this is depressing.

I've also experienced this Google + Hangout bug with the TF101 Asus Transformer but have discovered a work around.
During the "Check your hair" screen, before entering a Hangout, click the mic icon to mute, then enter the hangout. Once in the hangout you regain the ability to unmute the mic by pressing on the mic icon again.
Very odd bug. Thought my mic was broken so tried a ton of tests.
I am so happy that it can be "fixed" by something so simple. you are awesome!
I got the same problem since the TF101 auto update.
I have no video on the TF101 when hangout. Audio works fine always, and people can see me, but I see nobody and just can hear them.
I have Revolver Rom, I'll give a try to another roms to see it...

Fix for headphone problems.

This is a cross post from the thread I found on reddit, I take no credit for this find.
The problem for this person was "I purchased some Beyedynamic DT990 Pros (low impedance ersion; 32ohm) and there is some issue with the jack. It seems to trigger the button of me pressing the microphone button, with minimal movement. It either brings up voice command or just pauses the music, even if I just turn off the screen. If I try to increase the volume it also brings up the voice command sometimes.
Just moving the phone slowly causes the music to stop (if it doesnt already when turning the screen off.
Anyone have any solutions to this? These are good headphones, they work with my pc perfectly. I will test with my ipod aswell.
I was thinking of getting a female to male jack just to see if a different connector works. But these are audiophile headphones so the quality isn't really questionable."
and the solution was
"Download the app SoundAbout. It lets you force your phone to detect the headphones correctly. My G3 was doing the exact same thing and ever since I downloaded SoundAbout around a week or so ago everything has been working fine." "What I do is put the headphones into the jack, but not all the way until it clicks in. Just put it in enough to where the phone senses them. If the phone senses them as a headset, remove the headphones (not necessary to take them completely out, just off of the sensor inside the headphone jack) and try again. Once it detects them as regular headphones you can click them in like normal."
Sorry for the poor formatting, and unable to link the reddit thread because my account lacks posts but I found this extremely helpful and hope everyone with this issue does too.

Thread is LG G3 can't deal with proper headphones-
Thanks man this solution was a breath of fresh air! Only issue is I still get pops between songs, if you don't can you please tell me which settings you're using? One more thing, you'd help alot of people if you were to share it in the non-AT&T LG G3 sub-forum... Specifically, this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/aux-cable-problem-t2802719. If you could post there or make a new thread that would be amazing... Thanks again man.

The settings I use is the default ones, but I heard setting Media Audio to "Wired Speakers" fixes the issue too, however it disables you from playing music out of your phone speakers so what I do is. Set Media Audio on "Let App Decide" then created a widget on my homescreen for SoundAbout and just toggle it on before I plug in headphones.
Hopefully LG will fix it sooner or later. Kinda lame to have to use an extra app for something that should just work. That's why those apple guys make fun of us android guys. Thanks for the tip.

Question Huawei MatePad 11: Overtuned speaker's sound by default

For music, this is normal. But when you watch a video with a lot of speech, it is very difficult to listen to such a sound. The voices have a lot of low frequencies. Mid frequencies are hard to distinguish. Any noise is cut between words!
In headphones, the first time you connect, the sound is exactly the same. But in the settings, you can switch from Huawei Histen Auto to Huawei Histen Natural. And the sound becomes normal.
But this cannot be done for speakers. Huawei Histen Auto is there forever.
Question: Can something be done about this? For example, disable with ADB?
did you find a solution ?

No.
Only a faint hope remains for a possible release of the HarmonyOS 3.

I think I found it,
uninstalling "com.huawei.imedia.sws" via adb and then rebooting seems to fix it
(hope it's not a placebo effect )
Got uninstallable packages from https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/debloater-huawei-matepad-11-2021.4475143/
And found the specific one by searching for "Histen adb uninstall"

I disabled it a long time ago. It seems nothing has changed - probably, it is only for headphones.
We need some reference video - for comparison : )

I didn't disabled it, I fully uninstalled it.
The settings isn't even available in the settings app.
I tried listening back to some bits of the first Ant-Man movie where I wasn't able to hear anything, now it's clearly audible and intelligible.
With it fully uninstalled I can hear every bg noises and whispers.
I'm pretty confident in the fact that it worked.
The sound clearly lost some quality but having the full range of sounds is better imo.
If you have a video we could use as a reference feel free to send the link and you listening experience

There are probably better examples, but so far I've only found these.
When the voice is sharper, the effect is stronger. And most noticeable at a volume level of five points from zero.
(When the application is disabled, there is no menu in the settings either.)
Just tried again but unfortunately I couldn't hear the sound issue a easly as I would've liked with your videos.
I tried with this one (the first 10secs), the background noises were really disturbing.
After uninstalling everything I could from adb and rebooting I feel like it's a little bit better but again, not sure if it's a placebo effect or not.
Will keep watching movies and videos on it for a few days and hope nothing disturbs me
if it doesn't work I'll try installing an external equalizer like Equalizer FX

I played this video on PC and on another tablet. It feels like our Huawei just doesn't have the best speakers. Their weak point is quiet sounds. And if you do not compare constantly, then, probably, you can get used to it.

I agree with you except on the last point. On some videos it becomes, at least for me, so bad that I had to switch with another device.
I'll keep looking for videos like that
I have a problem where Left & Right are switched with USB-C earbuds. Still waiting on HMOS 3.0 hoping it fix it.

Question Children /high pitched voices filtered out during video calls. Can't hear children talking.

During video calls (WhatsApp, google duo etc) can't hear kids voices but can hear adult voice clearly. Seems like the phone software is editing out high pitched kids voices in order to make adult voice clearer. This is making listening to kids impossible during any kind of video calls. Could be the "clear calling" feature working in background. Any fix available to stop this?
I do meetings on Google Meet for work and sometimes the background noise filtering will filter out people. I have noticed that if mutiple people attempt to speak at the same time, some people will sometimes be completely silenced. It usually seems to give priority to the person that is speaking first.
I don't know if there is anyway to turn off the noise filtering. One this that might help is to make sure that people aren't speaking at the same time. I know that isn't always easy or fun with kids, though.

That's very difficult with kids sometimes!
It happens with my kid too. He has a high pitched voice and the phone treats him like background noise. When his mom calls to say hi she cannot hear a word he says. Not if the phone is perfectly on his head, not if I hold it in front of his face, not if it is on speaker phone. The best you can do is report it as a problem using your phone and hope enough people complain that something gets done. Many people (probably without kids or family) joke that not hearing the voices of kids on phone calls is a blessing. Not so much when it is their mother who wants to talk to them.

Try resetting the phone app cache and removing any case on the phone. Force stop the phone app by long pressing on it, then the exclamation mark, force stop. Then select storage & cache, clear cache. Then make a phone call and pretty much immediately have the tiny voice do some talking. Seems to have fixed my problem.

Phone call works fine, the voice on video calls is broken
I have same problem on video calls
It happens on my wife pixel 7 too. I cannot hear my sons voice, sometimes his voice is very low.
Same issue. Wife/grandparents couldn't hear my kids on video calls (Messenger, Meet, WhatsApp). I returned the phone because of this issue.
