Hello, I'm happy that you enjoyed the installation of this ROM. About the Magisk installation and the "Signature verification failed", that happens because the packages do not come with the keys recovery and ROM was signed with.

Pretty certain as long as you are on the latest OOS (I think 11.0.8.1) and have L1, flashing any ROM should keep it at L1. I followed the directions for PixelExperience (copying both partitions, etc.) and still have L1. My bootloader is unlocked too.

Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see if your device is built on a nightly or weekly schedule.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. You will need to use the version arm64/arm/whatever for SDK 27.
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot", then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash, and then reboot.
Using the ROM:
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
- Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
- Flash the ROM + Gapps Zipfile.
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)

Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine

I am on pixel experience now, here wifi drops often in standby mode. when I awake the phone it again scans and connects to wifi.

Oh sorry for that, I thought hardware encryption was related to the FP bug which was present in early builds of some other Pie ROMs. Anyways, is that FP bug present?

I have Mi A2 and the main problem I'm facing is not working VoWiFi so I decided to try this ROM (syberia_jasmine_sprout-v3.7-20200525-1034-OFFICIAL.zip) since it says it supports this.
But I'm unable to get VoWiFi to work here either.
I can see VoWiFi options in call settings but when I enable it, I can see no connection/traffic on Microtic Torch - nothing happens (can see other traffic from phone).
When I try *#*#INFO#*#* - the VoWiFi knob is turned off (grayed of course). On stock ROM I was able to enable it over *#*#VOWIFI#*#* and in INFO - knob was on. But it didn't connected.
And I found problems with camera app also - it says it needs sdcard. I can't go to (...) options - the button is "transparent" for click.
EDIT: I enabled developer on stock, debugging and oem

EDIT2: I can't write to storage I think it's the reason why camera app displays message about no sdcard. Don't know why...
EDIT3: Just wiped internal storage and reflashed ROM, rebooted flashed gapps and Magisk and it works - still no VoWiFi, magisk manager says no Magisk installed (it anyway patched slot _b no matter what was active slot).

More problems:
- gapps wizard turns automatically mobile data on.
- wizard crashes on update search process
- google data transfer crashes
- night mode doesn't work at all
EDIT1: Is it possible some problems are caused by vendor partition? Since TWRP doesn't allows to wipe vendor...

one more problem:
- when calling virtual keyboard should send numbers to e.g. call robot. These numbers not sent at all.

edit: no need for R firmware. I flashed directly from Resurrection Remix Q.
I noticed that the quickswitch gesture of swipe up and hold on the homescreen for recents doesn't work from just any part of the screen anymore. It only works if I swipe up from near bottom edge. Is this the normal behavior on Android R or is it just peculiar to this ROM?
edit2: NVM. Google changed the swipe up and hold behavior. You can no longer do it from midscreen in homescreen.

1. Download Magisk R from HERE
2. Download latest official build of Magisk from HERE
3. BACKUP YOUR DATA (option)
4. Reboot to recovery like TWRP or Orangefox etc.
5. Flash Magisk R (you downloaded in step 1) dont reboot
6. Flash Magisk 21.1 official build (downloaded in Step 2) and then restart

Im using it and there is an issue with some widget like whatsapp, it shows there is an error and is not loading the widget. I have tried reinstalling the app but the issue is the same

IDK what hapened to mine then. Firmware, maybe? I flashed 12.0.5 firmware on mine before this ROM. What did you do with yours? And yes, I did set that option through the Shapeshifter menu. But I would still like to have the notification for ease of access.

You should use latest firmware available for your region. Download it from HERE

12.0.5 is already the latest stable Q firmware for my region. Anyway I've reverted back to Q for now. The battery drain is too much on the R versions of Shapeshift and the Pixel Experience beta.

Not sure whether you have noticed that the Network Traffic monitor doesn't show up on the status bar when Status Bar is selected for Net activity location. It happens to either mobile network or Wifi connection. A screenshot is attached.

Yeah i noticed, its a rom issue. All devices on 5.9.1 are affected. If you set it to show in the quick settings it works normally.

One more - the background of brightness slider covers the top icons when the brightness slider extends or contracts if "Top" is chosen for "QQS brightness slider".

I think its because you have the brightness slider set to the top, but you still have move to bottom when expanded activated as well.
Try turning off the marked switch in settings/evolver/quick settings

You can install riru (xposed) and another module lsposed to pass.
Next update has safetynet passing as usual just with magisk hide activated

As I checked the file name, the build is 20211219-1717.
On Dec 17, I flashed 20211215-1321 and on Dec 18, I flashed an update named 20211217-1200
So, is this another update?

Installed and setting up right now. Quick question, how to enable fast charge? Or we can't even use fast charge anymore? Since this is my first android 12, previously using xiaomi.eu
1 more questions.. Why there is no incoming call on screen, only ringing even I already set the dialer as default phone?

Is it only me who experienced can't connect to internet via mobile data after awhile? Need to reboot for the data to work again, but then can't use internet after 10-15min.. endless cycle, and didn't work if i just turn on and off data only, need to reboot. Clean flash with only nik gapps and magisk v23

I can turn off double tap to wake, also for amazon are you using adaway with original filter? If so you will need to whitelist *amazon*, previously I also can't access amazon photos (upload and such) but after whitelisting it worked.

Turn off double tap to wake also whitelisting amazon in the adaway

Thanks to the developers. A stable and fluid rom.

This is the A12 ROM with the best battery life I've used so far, but banking apps are failing in my case both without root and using magisk and hiding method and mods. It's the only thing left to be perfect as a daily driver to me.

Thanks for the reply: I'm using the zygisk option at the moment and I tried both MagiskHide Props Config and Universal Safetynet fix, because at first safetynet was failing. Now safetynet check passes, but the ROM is still detected as modified by the banking app. In other A12 ROMs the same setup seems to work fine, but I can't find what's the difference between them.
