Question Back lightning - Black Shark 4

Hello guys, I've read on a lot of articles that BS4 Pro (which I have) can light up the triangle and change its colors, but I simply can't find the option in settings or don't have an app to do it.. I've searched everywhere and even on Chinese to see if I can download the app but I just can't find it... Could you help me out on how tuo turn the lights on?

Widgetsoid Default Screen Brightness

I use the brightness switcher on my Widgetsoid widget. The default is REALLY low and you can barely see anything. Since i have a Droid Pro, I have some reboot problems (happens daily). Because of that, when it comes back on, I can't see anything.
I posted and asked the dev on Android Forums if he knew how to change it. He didn't act very helpful, so I'm trying here.
Does anyone know how to change the default?

[Q] RG2X MIUI; Any way to adjust or disable LED notification?

Latest distro of RG2X MIUI installed... I can't seem to find any way to adjust or disable the LED notification when an Email/SMS/Call is received/missed. Anyone have any insight?
I like the LED notification, however it seems to destroy my battery life if I don't clear the notification in a reasonable amount of time. I wouldn't think it to be the problem, however if I go without getting notifications, my battery life is great.
TIA
searched the thread came up with this, courtesy of psychoace
Go to the home screen
Hit the search button
Hit menu
Go to search settings
Turn on settings search
Back out
Hit search again and type either trackball or led
You now have control of your capacitive button lights
and maybe next time search the thread or ask in there before making a whole new thread when you don't have to... that is an old solution and MIUI has been updated since so I don't know if it'll work or not... post your results if it worked.

While I should have mentioned in my original post that I DID SEARCH for a solution, I don't see the necessity for the contempt.
I did try the method mentioned, PRIOR to posting this thread. Neither LED or Trackball shows up in the search after enabling the settings search.
In summary, the proposed solution does not work for RG2X MIUI 2.3.24
hmmm I didn't think it would, I don't know what to tell you hopefully someone can help out.
Ok, an update for anyone who may have a similar problem.
I could not get the above mentioned solution to work, at first. After getting a bit frustrated with the matter, I performed a completely clean flash of the ROM again, re downloaded, etc... and now the above solution does work.
Another inexplicable and random quark I suppose.
Thanks for the help, mt3g.
Interesting but glad it worked out

[Q] Huawei Ascend Y300 - Notification LED

Hi,
I've recently picked up this great budget android phone and am very happy with it so far. Only problem is I can't get the notification LED to notify me of SMS, gmail, etc. It definitely exists because it lights up for charging but doesn't seem to light up/flash for any other event, which makes it hard to know if you have received anything without specifically checking.
Is this normal behaviour? Can I change it easily? I've not rooted the phone and would prefer not to, but will if it is safe and will fix this.
Thanks in advance!
Tried factory reset, and root. neither has changed anything
HELP!
I noticed the same thing with mine. I'm thinking its not actually a notification led but simply a charging led. You could try an led notification app from the play store and see if it will operate it.
*correction it is notification led. Skype and viber are flashing the led on mine.

I have the same. I read on many forums that the notification led from their Y300 is working. Mine at the moment only is on when charging battery.
I wonder how to get this to work...

I bought the phone a few days back. After running a few days on stock I flashed cm 10.2(android 4.3) in the cm settings I had the options for notifications. On the stock rom it didnt work but on cm it works like a charm. The ui is much better them emotion ui plus alot faster.
Hi guys, update: I found that Light Flow app can control the LED and you can then set the notification behaviour for sms, calendar, etc etc. You do need to play with the settings, I can't remember exactly but i think it needs "direct mode" of control and various other tweaks to start working...

Is it possible to change default notification LED behavior

Hi all,
I was just wondering if following would be possible;
as you all know Nexus 5 has nice notification LED at the bottom.
By default it works with (most) applications (gmail, whatsapp and so on).
However, by default it blinks once in 10 seconds.
I know there are at least 3 apps in Play store to modify behavior of LED blink / color / speed and so on.
Now, I am wondering would it be possible to (somehow?) change only the blinking speed without having to install additional applications?
Call me crazy, but I wanna keep my (new) phone as stock as possible without bloating it with (unnecessary) apps.
I am web developer so have very little / none knowledge and / or experience with Android (tho' I am quite handy with Linux / CLI).
Am I thinking 'too simple' that this 10 seconds would be some XML / config setting which could be changed?
Thanks in advance!

You`ll need root for changing system settings, Lightflow works very well and uses very little power in my experience.

Hi gee2012,
Thanks for your reply.
Rooting the phone is a possibility. Could you point me to which system settings would need to be changed to accomplish this?

[Q] ONE Annoyance Left to Sort Out Before Perfection...

I have a minor problem but I read a lot of books on the phone so this annoys me...
When you turn a page in a reader app like Kindle or Aldiko the lights behind the 3 capacitive buttons down the bottom come on for a few seconds, my last phone didn't do this, is there anything I can do to tell them to stay off just when I'm reading or using a certain app? There is no option for this in Aldiko or Moon+ app settings.
This is literally the only thing I can think of that I dont like about the best phone Ive ever owned, only had it since yesterday evening aswell
Hmmm, I installed this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.sleepydragon.capbutnbrightness
And it sucessfully turned off the lights, but now I cant get them to come back on! Tried turning on the on-screen keys and then turning the capacititive ones back on but no joy... Help please?

Other than completely disabling them I thin that would be a programming issue
Any clue ho to get the lights to come back as per my second post? Would an update or a reflash do it do you think?
your only option is without using any other apps is to go to settings -> buttons -> backlight -> uncheck illuminate lights.
