I'm sure that you will not find anything for a device that old.

Spreadtrum is the name of the CPU, isn't it. I asked what company made the actual device? The drivers should be associated to the manufacturer of the device itself instead of the CPU it uses. For instance Samsung devices use Samsung drivers even though they use Qualcomm, Exynos or MTK CPUs.
That device seems pretty old so I'm pretty sure it requires some pretty specific drivers, I doubt it is compatible with drivers for newer devices. That is why I asked who made the actual device. How old is the device, when was it first released on the market?

Again, that is not the company that made the device, Beraq mobile is a cellular service provider, they are a network. That is not what I asked for, I asked what company actually physically made and assembled the hardware, not who "sold" the device and not what carrier sold the device and not which mobile network the device came from.
Never mind, I will not continue to run this circle over and over trying to get a simple answer from you that you obviously lack the knowledge or ability to provide. You do not understand my question, you do not understand what I am asking.

[Q] Qualcomm bootloader installed or not?

Hello everyone, im getting setup with Windows Phone, and im trying to install a custom ROM, but im not sure if it has the Qualcomm bootloader. (My phone is a Lumia 710)
1) When i connect it to the PC holding the Vol + button it tells me if i want to format, wich is one of the clues to know if i have the bootloader.
BUT my firmware is 11502, do i really have the Qualcomm bootloader? (the revision hardware number ends in 2.1)
2) To access to the NAND i need Linux or Ubuntu? Or can it be accessed in Windows 7?
Im pretty new in this, so im a bit lost and i don't want to break my 1-week-old phone.
When it asks to format, click NO. Else, you'd brick your phone, mate
I guess you're having Qualcomm. Anyway, to confirm, do it once more, and when windows shows new drivers are being installed, click on the notification bubble. It'd show more details

Yeah, i never clicked Yes when it asked me to format it.
But when it's installing the drivers it stops and just says ''Problem not corrected'' (maybe not literally, im spanish, so that's more or less what it says).
Is there any web where i can download the drivers? Because Windows won't install them automatically...
EDIT:
ok, it says that there are no drivers for ''Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM''...
Alright, the only thing i need is the Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM drivers, but i can't find them... why doesn't Windows install them automatically?
You do not need a driver for Qualcomm, just leave as is. Nss or Downloader will recognize the nand partition anyway.

First of all, congrats as you're having Qualcomm bootloader. Saved you a minor headache of downgrading. Now, the drivers are not required. The method mentioned was just to identify the type of bootloader.
Now, don't hesitate. Go flash with a custom rom

galaxy j700h/ds mtk6572 black screen after flashing orignal stock rom.

hi all! actually i am having a strange problem with my j700h mtk6572 china device.the problem appeared first when i tried to install custom rom on my china device which failed giving me a broken android device.what next was that i flashed a wrong rom with sp flash tool and then the condition got even worse that from then onward i wasnt able to even boot..so i kept struggling to find the exact rom for my android..
when i was failed completely i decided to go to the mobile phone shopfrom there i bought an exact simmilar china phone and readback its rom with sp flash tool and mtk droid tool and when i flashed this rom the sp flashed tool started to flash it (this indicated it is the compatible rom because sp flash tool didnt found an issue).after when the phone booted up,...
strange boot scenarios after flash
the phone shows nothing on screen, its completely pitch black.
i can hear the boot sounds.
power key and volume keys are responding
while chaarging the flash led glows
some additional info about my device
the back flap removed shows me behind the batter the following specs
model_ sm j700h/ds
fcc id_ a3lsmj700h
ssn_ j700h/dsgsmh
rated 3.8v 2600mA
(there is a sticker of some farooq mobile, may be the distributor or developer.)
internel features
i remember once i opened the about section that showed itself j700f
the internel memory was 16gb
before by first hard reset the seemed to be android lollipop but after first hard reset onward the phone had a kitkat lock screen.
i even checked some recovery files manually that shows some files etc indicating sm-g530f
.
the nutshell problem
keeping all the scenarios in mind a came to the conclusion that nothing is wrong with rom because sp flash allowed it.
the issue is not confined to some screen attachments or driver because it dont even connect to my pc(just gives some two unformated partitions dissapear and reappear when i connect with pc using my cable).
i request you all if there is some official or developer who knows about china devices to please cooporate, as i am dead tired with this condition.and i made xda id just to post this thread...
any help will be highly appreciated.

Hello
On the sticker it shows it as j700h and inside the device it's j700f?
Hard reset doesn't downgrade the frimware
And you said some tools indicate IRS g530f?

@HoPe thanks for replying.
You got a point here,I am starting to ponder over it..actually about smg530f I am not sure,I don't remember exactly.what I am sure of is that I flashed the exact ROM and still its not working, and secondly that the lock screen style turned to KitKat 4.4 style when I did factory reset..I wanna know that, is there any thing apart from ROM files that I need to flash, like display drivers, imei etc..can I do a hardware replacement of emmc.
What partitions loads the hardware components like display.sdcard etc.
Any help is appreciated in advance..

Hello, so far i don't think this device is reversible since it seems to be a rebuilt device -modifed-, the hardwares and imei are changed. this explains why the black screen popped, better buy a new device so far or maybe
@Droidriven would you check it out ?

If it says J700H on the sticker(I'm assuming you mean the sticker behind the battery), but says J700F in system settings. That could be for a few reasons but it more than likely started out originally as J700H. Here are the possible reasons the numbers aren't matching:
1) the device is a J700H but has been flashed with J700F firmware.
2) The device was originally a J700H but now has a J700F motherboard for whatever reason.
3) The device could have originally been a J700F but has had the casing replaced with the casing from a J700H.
One way to know for sure is to open the device and inspect the motherboard for the model number that is stamped on it.
Edit: Nevermind, you don't actually have a device that is anything, it's not a J700H or a J700F. You have a cloned(fake) device.
There are no stock firmwares for clones that you can just download and flash. The cloned devices have firmware that has been hacked together from other devices, they don't actually have firmware that is their own.
I wouldn't waste my time on this cheap fake want-to-be Samsung crap. You're going to end up chasing your tail trying to manually put a firmware together for the device. Rest assured, you're gonna have to build it yourself if that's what you need, you probably won't find anything that can be flashed as is without making some modifications.
Next time, don't buy a cloned device, they aren't worth it, I don't care if they only cost $2, it still isn't worth it.
If you want a decent device then go buy one, don't buy a device that is pretending to be a decent device. When you try to be cheap, you get EXACTLY what you pay for. Stop robbing yourself.

I DO NOT PROVIDE HELP IN PM, KEEP IT IN THE THREADS WHERE EVERYONE CAN SHARE
@Droidriven @HoPe thank buddies for getting to my thread and properly responding..I am very grateful to y,all.actually that $30 clone is not my interest any more.
the day I hardbroked my mobile and the next day I bought the same from the same mobile shop (that too is China fake and is in working condition.) What seems interesting to me is that my older device is not booting even with a firmware of its own kind which I read back from the new j700h!..I wish I could get hands on that Chinese developer who is both a genious and an idiot....!!

This must be because the IMEI that you have is originally from a i9500 S4 then it was written onto the device you have because it either had no IMEI or it did have an IMEI but was blacklisted or was not a valid IMEI for whatever reason.

It wouldn't surprise me if the two devices you had are completely different at the hardware level, they probably don't have the same components so they can't use the same firmware.

Please Help Root My Not Supported 2018 Virus infested Unbranded Chinese Android phone

I've been all over trying to find a root that'll help delete these preinstalled apps with viruses on this darn Android phone. They all say root failed Not Supported. I don't need to root for major installs, I need it to delete these apps, that's all. The phone's an unbranded model: A9 (2018), CPU: MTK6592 Octa core, Android 8.1, Kernal version 3.10.72, RAM 4G & ROM 64G. Also if I can't personally root this phone do you think I can take it to a pro and have them to do it. Someone, please help.
Well, you'll have to get the correct files (scatter file, TWRP installer, etc.), but try this procedure:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ge...ng-unlocking-bootloader-t3812910/post79358295
Don't use the files for the Blu Life One X3, each phone has its own files, and using the wrong ones will brick your phone.
But I've found that (for the Blu Life One X3, with a Mediatek MT6753 chipset) just as the phone shuts down, it drops all security, allowing one to push TWRP to the phone as bootloader. That's your 'in' to getting the thing rooted, even if your bootloader can't be unlocked.

How, exactly, is it dumb? It works. My phone is rooted, and the bootloader cannot be unlocked.

Dumb as in "wow, i can't believe the manufactuers left in this glaring hole", not dumb as in "wow this is dumb you suck nerd." My bad.
Ah, I see.
It's a good thing that MTK's chipset has this vulnerability... and I don't think MTK can quash it without a major revamp of their chipset architecture, which they likely wouldn't undertake just to stop a few folks rooting their devices.
What surprises me is that the entire Android industry hasn't embraced rooting. There are ways nowadays to ensure the phone isn't stolen (fingerprints, PINs, etc), so why they continue to fight it is beyond me... there's more innovation on the rooting and FOSS side than on the 'lock it down' side. Innovation and openness is what drives users to use the phones in the first place. If we wanted a 'walled garden' user experience, we'd go with Apple... with the understanding that Apple knows everything about us, and with the hope that Apple doesn't go Google-evil.
I'll go with a known-evil company that I can lock out rather than a company that may someday go evil (or may be evil, but no one knows they are), but which cannot be locked out even the slightest bit.

Question Pixel 7 pro system firmware needed

I don't know if it's permitted or not but I'm in search of the system firmware so if anyone could help I'd be grateful. I know it's unreleased but let's just say I've got the prototype lying around. Thanks in advance.
Doesn't exist. Ideally, you would dump the firmware yourself from the phone.
Now that the phone is released, stock images should be available soon here:

Since Google bricked your phone remotely with the hardware ID (since you got one of the dev models before release), it will be quite difficult to get it running again, a simple firmware flash will probably not do the trick.
And even if you'd manage to get a firmware running, you will not be able to go online, since Googles system has flagged your hardware ID and just brick it again. The only hope you have really is to wait for a custom kernel/OS and use that, IF you can actually manage to flash any sort of data on that phone. Was the bootloader still locked when Google bricked your device?

No it was never locked to begin with. Does this mean even original stock firmware( when released) won't work?

That is highly likely, but don't let me stop you from trying. Maybe you will have success. Also keep your eyes out for the Android Flash tool or the Pixel Repair tool, once Google updates them for the P7 Pro. Big companies usually not have all the tools interconnected, so chances are that the Repair tool won't check for blacklisted hardware IDs, it's just important that under no circumstances you may connect to the Internet with that thing, IF you manage to get it running and as long as it runs stock.

J415G stuck in EDL mode (Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008)

Dear all,
I've been chasing on every single website for a XML firmware of Samsung J415G.
Apparently the only way is using QFIL to flash the main boot.
Does anyone have that kind of firmware? The firmware could be "Flat build" or "Meta build" or a ".mbn" file.
Thanks in advance.
Unfortunately, most manufacturers do not make these files available. If they did, I'd be able to recover my bricked Pixel 2.

And a lot of it is snake oil, honestly. I do think there needs to be a bigger market for de-bricking, but most OEMs and repair centers don't bother attempting low level flashing; they just replace the mainboard, after programming it with the original IMEI.

Exacty. I totally agree with you.
And because of this, tons of smartphones become a garbage. Often not worth repairing. I think is a waste.
I just found a list of firehose files, organised by brand. It might help someone out there:

And another list of Qualcomm Prog eMMC Firehose file:

PS: None of those files worked on the device J415G.
Yeah, those lists are barely organized and no information is provided. I would assume you'd need one corresponding to your SoC but I'm not sure.
