Just made a review of the ScreenMate Tempered Glass Screen Protector for the Galaxy S4 by iloome.
Close up pictures:
You will get dust/lint around the home button and the home button sticker that's included doesn't help cover it up.
I have been using this for about 2 weeks and I am blown away of how well this screen protector preforms! 100% absolutely bubble free, very scratch resistant, super easy to apply, and looks like a product that could last forever.

The only thing I'm surprised about is that, contrary to several threads here, it does NOT have Rounded edges. It's very straight cut and feels like it's scraping ur skin.
Very disappointed seeing as how most others have it but oh well.

Does anyone know how this compares to the ones produced by spigen? Also, is there any interference with the air gestures?

Nope, the response hasn't decreased at all from the senors or the screen.
I also have this screen protector. It is absolutely wonderful! Has anyone tested it against ghost glass or some other glass variant? I also notice a bit of a decrease in performance from the proximity sensor when removing the phone from my face after a long phone call.
I ordered this product on Sunday from Amazon. It's arrival today was heralded by a loud thump on my doorstep as the delivery person essentially slammed the Amazon box (which contained the ScreenMate and a Obliq Case) down and ran off. Needless to say, I was not surprised to discover on opening the screenmate box that the glass had been cracked.
I will be ordering another as soon as Amazon processes my refund, as I believe that the fault was in the handling by the delivery person. I do think that iLoome could probably do a little bit better with their packaging, however, again, I believe that the fault truly lies with the Prestige courier that Amazon used to ship my product to me.
I will update after I get the replacement ordered and it arrives.
Just got my iloome glass screen and its amazing feels like nothing there but I got a hair under my screen. Thats my bad but its nice and all the gestures is working for me. Very well pleased

Ordered from here and received yesterday. Shipping was very fast and has a cut out for proximity sensor and back camera. Apparently its gorilla glass and fits great. Has a nice anti finger print coating. I have been searching for a glass back protector and finally found one. I can post pics if people want but the price is great and fit is also good.

Yep thought the same thing, but since it had paypal I said I'm covered so what the hell. To my surprise it was delivered in three days lol.
As for the docking station I have not has any issues with mine but it is the ten dollar one off ebay. It doesnt say the thickness but my uess would be 4mm

You could put it over the asf, I did it with another brand glass protector. Just makes sure it clean and dust free. These one came with a big sticker to remove any dust.
Can you please put a Picture of the Phone in a way we can see how much the glass is in thickness compared to the Phone looking Just at the sides?

I have had rhino shield on my nexus 4 and nexus 7 also for my xperia z. The first generation where not very good. They scratched easily and also got dented easily. On my nexus they didn't cover much of the screen and on my xperia the one they sent had issue with the back protector. I have ordered the second generation since they were giving the people who backed them on kick starter free second gen ones. I have not received them yet so cannot comment on them as of now.
These have been very good so far they are apparently made of gorilla glass so they are scratch resistant and have anti finger print coating. The best I have used so far. These are 9H and rihino shields are I beleive 5H.

Thank you, they seem quite thin from the pictures. While we can notice it's there, it's actualy quite OK in therms of thickness.
It's a case that the pros outweight the cons by a large margin.
Ordered now.
Let see how it perform compared to my old SGP one.

Do you have the sony dock or the knock one. I had to take out the spring loaded tabs to get mine to work properly it would charge but a slight knock on my night stand would sometimes stop it from charging.

I bought one for $9 but noticed that the seller on ebay has reduced the price to $5.87.
I'm not sure if it's fake, but I suspect most of these are manufactured in the same place.
The screen protector came in a plain brown box with no dust cloth or alcohol wipe, but I didn't pay $39 and those extras aren't worth that much upcharge.
The printed instructions on the packaging say, "GLAStR" but I suspect it could be fake. In any case, it works just as well as the real one and for $6-$9 I can replace it at any time and not be worried about the cost.

Sorry, I didn't post that part because I like to keep my videos short and to the point.
But to answer your concerns, it feels just like a regular screen without screen protectors.
That's the benefit of glass and the clarity is unmatched.
I hate sticky screen protectors like skinomi and xtreme guard and don't like the tackiness on those types.
Dry install ones like Spigen are what I usually used, but even those eventually start to show scratches and dont have complete clarity.

Yeah i currently have the cheap (but still $13 at Verizon..I know, i forgot to order online with my case ahead of time of getting the phone) flimsy ones that no matter how hard i try seem to get a bubble or two

I am seeing a lot of screen protectors coming out on amazon, that are from small companies, was wondering if anybody has ever tried them and which one is the best one? Should I go try some of them out or wait for Zagg to come out of one of their own for the Moto Z/Z force?
Never felt like paying the premium for Zagg stuff; I've been using Skinomi protectors on my last three phones (it's the same material as Zagg/GadgetGuard etc). Have the TechSkin on my Z Force and it fits PERFECTLY, right up to the edge. Tried the MatteSkin once, but found it de-contrasted my screen way too much.

I have just ordered 4 or 5 of them from the small companies that I have never heard of. I'm planning to review them. They start arriving this weekend and my moto z arrives on Tuesday. Can't wait to get started as I tried the phone in BestBuy answer was really impressed.

Well crap. I thought it was the Force that had the 2.5D screen edges. We aren't ever going to get a decent glass screen protector for this phone. My S7 was just like this and as popular as it is doesn't have a good glass screen protector.

how is the fit?
I wish I would have come across this thread before I bought the IQ Shield Tempered Glass protector. Clarity and feel are amazing but the edges don't seal!! It really grinds my gears.
Just bought a generic tempered glass (I highly doubt it is real tempered glass, maybe just some plastic). It is really cheap, not prone to fingerprints, and it makes the screen look great. Adhesion is nice, no abnormal lifts from the sides. Here are some pictures and the price tag.
I'm jealous, that seal looks perfect! I paid twice as much and mine is lifted on the left, right, and bottom edges.

Installed today... The front screen protector is of good quality and attach perfectly on screen even if it is a bit small in size in all directions in my opinion. Great transparency and print resistance too...
The back one is like old screen protections and it's impossible to fit it without a lot of bubble...
Too much for me so I removed... It's a pity since it had a good print resistance too... that was really needed.
Anyone found a screen protector that covers the entire front?

I didn't get it on exactly perfect but if I did then I think it would have been pretty close to full coverage. I'm considering pull it off and replacing it. Also, I bought a full body protector so that I could put something on the back to protect from scratches and some finger prints. When I pulled it out and looked at it before applying it to the phone then I noticed there was no hole for the gold connection pins to pass through. I was very disappointed. Seems the same as Whitestone with a few exceptions. I do like that the camera cutout isn't there but I feel like Whitestone is easier to install with the kits they provide.

Im not going to blow money on these gimmicks. Tempered glass has soo many advantages too but the reality is- there is no great solution for the curved screen except a wet install and good case+ extreme care like not walking and using phone, not holding phone while getting out of car in gravel driveway, etc.

i think the front facing camera is optimised as is, adding extra glass will affect that.

FINALLY GOT MY GLASS TODAY AND IT WORKS!!
I tried first with standard way and fingerprint didn't work. Second try followed that video the mods took down and it worked perfectly!! I didn't even re-register my fingers. It's a little less accurate but I'd rather not have a cracked screen when i get careless over the next 3 years I own this phone.

I'm using it. My only issue with the glass in this thread is the absence of the camera cutout. I know before I had stated it seemed nice but my Whitestone has lifted up around the top while still actually being adhered to the phone. If I didn't have the cutouts then my front camera would be blurry. I assume this company would use similar glue and would end up with the same results later on.
get an insurance for it, and save money on your case!!!!

I recomend I have one in my s10 plus and I love and the fingerprint work with no problem
