Qualcomm CrashDump Mode Attempted to kill init! exitcode=0x0000000b do_exit - General Questions and Answers

Hello,
I'm having issues installing Nethunter.
I have the last Android version 11.0.8.1
Oneplus 7 Pro GM1913
I did:
- Msm tool to go back to stock.
- I unlocked the bootloader (fastboot oem unlock, phone wiped)
- Enabled USB debugging mode again.
- fastboot boot twrp-3.6.2_11-0-guacamole.img
- adb sideload twrp-3.6.2_11-0-guacamole.zip
- rebooted to system and then to recovery to check everything was ok.
- Tutorial said to format data ( Wipe -> format data -> yes ) doing this i got this message in the middle of the logs:
"TWRP will not recreate /data/media on an FBE device. Please reboot into your rom to recreate /data/media"
- Rebooted to system as the message request and it recreated the folders and i could copy files to the internal storage once again.
- Rebooted to Recovery TWRP and installed Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_11.02.2020.zip and Magisk-v19.3.zip.
- At this point the guide said to reboot to system to finish the setup but never got into the system, instead i get this message:
"Qualcomm CrashDump Mode
Attempted to kill init! exitcode=0x0000000b
do_exit"
Is anyone able to help me ? I can't find information about this message that could relate to my situation specifically.
With thanks and regards,

[Q] LG Optimus one (p500) - upgrade it to Android 4.4.2 KitKat problem

Hi,
Hope this is the right place to ask...
I have LG Optimus one (p500) and I tried to upgrade it to Android 4.4.2 KitKat CM11 ROM.
I used this guide:
http://www.ninjaromeo.com/update-lg-optimus-one-kitkat/
But since the link to the rom is down - I tried it with mukulsoni cm-11-P500-Ver10.zip rom from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51341582&postcount=1154
I'm not sure is it's relevant - but in the ninjaromeo guide it was stated to:
Do the following: “Wipe Data/Factory Reset > Yes”
Do the following: “Wipe Data/Factory Reset > Yes”
Do the following: “Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache > Yes”
Do the following: “Mounts and Storage > Format /system > Yes”
but in mukulsoni guide is was stated:
DON'T WIPE ANYTHING (data/factory reset + wipe cache partition+wipe dalvik+ format system)
but since I used ninjaromeo guide I did the wipe as instructed....
anyway - the installation finished o.k. and the device rebooted and i got this message:
Fastboot mode started
udc_start()
--suspend--
--reset--
--portchange--
--reset--
--portchange--
stall get_descriptor 128 6 1006 0 18
fastboot: processing commands
the phone was discovered by my windows - and some drivers ware installed.
after long long wait i disconnected the the phone from my computer and re connected it back, I got this message:
--suspend--
--suspend--
--reset--
ep1/out fail nfo=40 pgo=74000
--portchange--
usb_read() transaction failed
--reset--
--portchange--
fastbootops!
fastboot: processing commands
but nothing happen.
I tried to re install the rom - this time without the wipe part (though I guess it is too late since I already did it the first time) - and again I got to this message:
Fastboot mode started
udc_start()
--suspend--
--reset--
--portchange--
--reset--
--portchange--
fastboot: processing commands
should it take so long to complete - or is it because something I did wrong?
what should I do now?
Thanks!

Hi again,
So I upgraded the CWM Recovery to v6.0.4.6 from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2564767
and installed the SDK on my PC from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1007244
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html?ssSourceSiteId=otnjp
then I have Installed ClockWorkMod through ADB:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=852905
then installed again the new rom from mukulsoni cm-11-P500-Ver10.zip rom from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2589303
so now the phone is restarting - but a get:
"unfortunately, google play service has stopped"
and then:
"unfortunately,the process android.process.acore has stopped."
and:
"unfortunately,kitkat launcher + has stopped"
after that the phone reached the wallpaper with the lock etc - but after few seconds the phone reboot over and over again....
any idea?
Thanks.
=======================================
o.k.
did recovery and then "wipe data / factory reset."
got:
"formatting /data
formatting /cache
formatting / sd-ext
formatting /storage/sdcard0/.android_secure
data wipe complete"
then reboot system now. - and the phone work without a problem (almost) -
now i get no signal (although the sim and network were o.k. on the previous rom).
when dialing a number i get:
"mobile network not available."
in: settings->more->mobile networks->network operators-> choose automatically
I get error: "can't connect to this network right now . try again later"
in "search networks " I get error "error while searching for networks"
i'm trying to update to 10.3 via OTA - will it help?
any idea?
Thanks.
===========================================
so the problem was with the baseband.
i used this to installed a new baseband :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=15250036&postcount=1
and then re install the new rom all over again - now it's working fine!!
But there is a problem again...
Now i cant connect to the google play / add new account to the phone etc...
i get error:
"there was a problem communicating with google servers/ tray again later"
installing the Google Play Store 4.6.16 did not help - still the same error.
can you help??
Did you get updated to 10.3? are you still having this issue? I'm using this ROM without any of the issues you've described.
If you had posted this on the thread where you got the ROM from, your question would've been answered long time ago.

How to Root the CAT s60 ... ... and more !!!

Since i am afraid, that my Guide will dissapear in the other Thread,
i post this guide in a new Thread !
I have just uploaded a collection of, how i have named it, - s60 essentials - there are ALL files included to flash stock, update to .033, flash twrp recovery and root.
(this is for Win7 x86, you have to check if it works for other versions yourself, sy..)
Here is my collection
HOW TO.... Stock, Update, custom recovery and root your s60 !!!!
Disclaimer: if you brick your phone, it's your fault, i have tested this way of rooting my s60 now for a several times and it works 100%
SO READ TWICE, CHECK TWICE, BEFORE YOU CLICK ONCE !!!!! i will not take any responsibility !!!
Thanks to everybody who contributed here in this thread (Cesarq, OpenMinded, Tuschi, BetonJohn, etc.......) the software in the link
is the collected data, freely available in the net and linked in the original Thread several times, i have only bundled one package and wrote
this, hopefully usefull guide.
in principle do as follows: (I will only explain once how to sideload or load via recovery, afterwards i will only state what kind and what file)
Prerequists
- install USB drivers (for recovery and adb)
- install "minimal ADB and fastboot"
- copy the two updates (update032 & update033) into the folder, where you have installed "minimal ADB and fastboot" (makes live easier later)
- install QPST (the version of QPST is the one from Androidmtk and should be virusfree
(The version of QFIL in my collection is the one without reboot, so you have to reset/reboot your phone manually (resetbutton below hatchdoor on your phone) whenever
stated in this guide.
- format micro SD card in fat32 ! and copy SuperSU.zip onto it.
- connect a WORKING USB cable to your phone (Not to your PC atm !!!)
getting twrp (for saving your old firmware only)
- power off phone.
- start minimal adb on your PC
- start QFIL (part of QPST) on your PC
- press VOL+ & VOL- simultanousely and connect phone with PC (it will vibrate once, top right LED starts blinking red, screen stays black) - DOWNLOAD MODE -
(just in case: to leave Download mode, press and hold power button for apprx. 15 seconds)
- as soon as you connect your phone to the PC, QFIL should show the Phone/port in the topline allready, if not, either try to manually select the port, or you probably still have
a problem with the USB drivers !
- tick in QFIL Flat Build (top left)
- QFIL - select Programmer, "browse" to the saved location of "update-twrp-recovery-nobootpatch" and select the "prog_emmc.blablabla...mbn" file and doubleclick
- QFIL - "load XML" ,select rawprogramm, doubleclick, select patch0, doubleclick
- QFIL - click on "download"
- if everything was OK up till now, it should start download - BE PATIENT- and read the status window on QFIL, when it shows "finish download"....
- disconnect phone from PC
- press and hold simultanousely POWER and VOL+ and use a small tool to push the reset button on the phone under the hatch, while still pressing Power and Vol+ !
- the phone should now be in twrp recovery. If so, do a full backup now to your (allready inserted and fat32 formatted) microSD card!!!
when done
- Power off your phone !
flashing stock 31.02
- enter download mode again (Vol+ & Vol-, connect phone to PC.......)
- this time in QFIL, browse in programmer path to "s60_stockFW_31.02" and select the programmer from there
- load XML's (the onces that belong to Stock31.02)
- start download... this will take a while !!!! BE PATIENT !!!!
- when QFIL status window shows finish download, push the reset button on the phone and let it reboot.
- it is normal, that the phone should restart itself 2, maximum 3 times at the first start, but sometimes it ends up in a bootloop (Cat Logo, reboot, CAT logo, reboot, etc, etc, .......)
(The bootloop mainly happens, if you clear, in twrp recovery, the whole OS, but that's no issue either...)
- if it ends up in a bootloop, no worries, just continue ! Believe me, i did the process now several times ! )
you are back on stock 31.02 !
-Power off your phone again
Updating to 032
- bring up minimal ADB sideload on your PC (start it, if not allready done in previous step (getting twrp)).
- press and hold POWER and VOL+ button on your phone - RECOVERY MODE -
- when in stock recovery select (with Volume keys) "adb sideload" and click the Powerbutton
- connect your phone to the PC
- on PC, type into the black ADB Terminal window "adb sideload update032.zip" and hit enter
- if drivers are there, phone will start downloading the update now.
- when complete, select clear cache, and clear data then reboot your phone.
- again, same as in the step (flashing stock), if bootloop, no worries, just continue, if it boots up, let it boot up and then..
you're on 032 now
- Power off the phone again
Updating to 033
- do the same steps as described under "Updating to 032" only difference, type in adb window " adb sideload update033.zip"
After updating to 033 your phone should boot up normally now, NO MORE BOOTLOOP !
getting twrp
- this is the same step as above "getting twrp" only difference, this time, no backup needed and...
- when in twrp-recovery, select "install" browse to your micro SD-card, and...
- install SuperSU.zip from SDcard.
- once more, clear cache and data and reboot.
The phone should boot up now, you should be on FW 033, with custom recovery and root !!!
That's all !!!
Would a TWRP or fastboot flashable stock recovery let us apply future OTA updates without wiping and starting from stock 031 if we're using systemless root like Magisk?
From stock recovery you can reboot to bootloader which puts us in fastboot (you can select boot mode with Vol +/-), so I'm thinking if we could boot TWRP from fastboot (without flashing, obviously), we could back up the stock recovery. Then when the next update comes around, we flash stock recovery back, apply the update, then reflash TWRP.
I tried fastboot boot recovery.img from update-twrp-recovery-nobootpatch but I got
FAILED (remote: unknown command)
and rebooting into recovery from there just got me stock recovery which makes sense.
QCN please
Hi guys, can anyone share me QCN backup of S60 because i've lost it! Thanks.
Last update for Android 6.0 was from 766 days ago.
Any suggestions on how to patch?
Thanks a million

Cubot King Kong custom ROM or Android go?

Hi everyone,
First post here. I purchased a Cubot Kingkong. I liked the toughness and the price. Has Android Nougat, 2gb of Ram, 16gb ROM, MT 6580 quad core processor.
What I don't like is that it's slow, in my opinion. I tried to find a custom ROM, but couldn't find one.
Do you a custom ROM that can work? Thought about Android go, but it would need to be updated to Oreo first.
Thanks for your help.
Slow? I have this phone and I find it very reasonably snappy for its specs. The MT6580 is a 2016 entry-level processor. Not any great performer and no firmware will do miracles.
Besides, its Nougat Android is 100% bloat-free (a good surprise I must say). And the 2 Gb of RAM are enough to run it correctly. Don't think Android One would make much of a change here.
Your expectations might be too high for a sub-100€ phone.
does anyone have a scatter file or custom recovery for this phone? how did you root?
CUBOT KING KONG B-1 (X511) Android 7.0 quick TWRP + rooting guide
WARNING: You do a factory reset! all data lost! unlocking - warranty lost!
edit: With locked bootloader, you can not flash from fastboot. BUT - Yippee! - SP Flash Tool is able to flash twrp.img for encrypted device with locked bootloader (and FRP / OEM lock!) without data loss. TWRP is then able to decrypt data with default_password. Before you unlock bootloader, flash TWRP, Back up your /data from TWRP and manually copy Internal Storage (/data/media/0) via USB-MTP (not included in TWRP Backup). Backup is not described in this Tutorial, but feel free to ask
- first you need adb and fastboot, in Windows represented as adb.exe and fastboot.exe which run in command line terminal (cmd.exe) - (for adb and fastboot Windows XP click here)
- install MediaTek MT65xx USB VCOM Preloader USB Drivers for Windows
- this phone is locked. to unlock the bootloader, enable usb-debugging:
Settings -> About Phone -> tap Build number seven (7) times
Settings -> Developer options -> OEM unlocking -> Turn on
Settings -> Developer options -> USB debugging -> Ok
WARNING: You do a factory reset! all data lost!
- connect the phone to pc and type in command console:
- confirm with Yes (Volume UP)
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot oem unlock
Phone is now in Orange State - warranty lost!
(if you wanna get rid of the waiting time flash the 'Orange State disabler' see below)
- reboot the phone:
Code:
fastboot reboot
i have created a scatter file using this very cool program WwR MTK v2.30 from Ilya Aleksandrovich
then i have ported this TWRP v3.2.2-0 from S. M. Nahid Emon Generic TWRP v3.3.1-0 from Samad Segmane meanwhile
- on Phone, download SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742.zip flashable zip
- on PC, download the scatter file and the twrp-3-3-1-0-recovery from this thread
flash recovery with MediaTek SP Flash Tool
- in SP Flash Tool, go to Download and select the following files:
Download-Agent: MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin
Scatter-loading File: MT6580_cubot_king_kong_7081c_scatter.txt
Flash Mode: Download Only
- uncheck all checkboxes
- double click on recovery.img and select twrp.img
- press Download
- type in command console:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
(flashing starts as soon as phone is connected in download mode)
- after successfully flashing, press and hold Volume UP, disconnect the phone, connect again, wait until you see the Orange State message appears, then release the Volume UP Button
- you can start TWRP each time from command console:
Code:
adb reboot recovery
edit: Fixed! unfortunately, when flashed and booted from recovery, touch screen is not working unless someone will fix the kernel (Patryk did with IDA Pro but this tutorial drives me crazy) - at moment you can only boot as boot.img
- boot into TWRP recovery from fastboot without flashing recovery (working touch screen)
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot boot "C:\Download\twrp.img"
<-- see here
- from TWRP you can now install SuperSU.zip flashable zip
- if you want install Busybox binary, download Busybox-1.29.0-YDS-UNIVERSAL.zip from github and install this flashable zip from TWRP
- if you don't like SuperSU better use Magisk i have tested successfully too, it is easy to install, no TWRP required. MediaTek SP Flash Tool has a readback mode where you can make a backup of boot.img and copy to phone (or use the one attached). Then, all you have to do is install the Magisk Manager apk and patch the boot image, then flash the patched_boot.img and you are rooted
- this phone is encrypted by default - disable encryption may increase performance
WARNING: You do a factory reset! all data lost!
first install adb and fastboot, connect the phone and unlock the bootloader,
then follow instructions for disable encryption (do everything in TWRP):
- on Phone, download Disable Force Encrypt zip and SuperSU zip files
- boot into TWRP recovery from fastboot without flashing recovery (see above)
- copy Disable Force Encrypt zip to cache partition
Advanced -> File Manager
navigate to /data/media/0/Download
select file Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_v1.4.zip
press Copy File
navigate to /cache
confirm blue check mark on the right bottom
Swipe to Confirm
- repeat this copy SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742.zip to /cache
go back to main menu
- Wipe -> Format Data -> type yes
if Format Data fails, reboot TWRP and try again:
go back to main menu
- Reboot -> Bootloader
- boot into TWRP recovery from fastboot without flashing recovery (see above)
- Wipe -> Format Data -> type yes
go back to main menu
- flash Disable Force Encrypt zip and SuperSU zip files
Install -> (Up A Level) -> /cache
select file Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_v1.4.zip
uncheck all checkboxes
Swipe to confirm Flash
go back
select file SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742.zip
uncheck all checkboxes
Swipe to confirm Flash
Reboot System
- finish the initial android setup assistant
- enable usb-debugging (see above unlock bootloader)
- boot into TWRP recovery from fastboot without flashing recovery (see above)
- clear cache partition
Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Cache -> Swipe to Wipe
instead of SuperSU you can flash Magisk after Disable Force Encrypt. The SuperSU v2.79 is the latest release from Chainfire and it is Pro-Version. Do not update to V2.82 from Coding Code (it is the same version)
- new: 'Orange State' disabler
if you wanna get rid of the waiting time flash the 'Orange State disabler'
WARNING: experts only! do not try this if you don't know how to unbrick your device
- make a backup of lk.bin (bootloader)
- install orange_state_disabler_v0.3.zip from TWRP
- flash lk.bin from SP Flash Tool (in case you bricked your device)
--- 'Orange State' disabler v0.3 ---

What is the kernel architecture? (you can check that in CPU-Z) nevermind
Try this:
twrp-3.2.2.0-cubot_king_kong_7081c-20180831-2340.img (updated)
If it'll not work then this:
twrp-3.2.2.0-cubot_king_kong_7081c-20180831-2356.img
i have tested, both not booting. i think we should just give up. maybe this method does not working for MT6580. i have requested kernel source code from Cubot but they denied

Cubot King Kong has data mining spy app in OTA updater
https://www.xda-developers.com/report-android-phones-transmit-data-to-adups-a-chinese-firm
dont expect any firmware updates (they wont provide Oreo for sure) - better disable OTA updater instead:
Code:
pm disable --user 0 com.adups.fota
pm disable --user 0 com.adups.fota.sysoper
edit: do not update to V24 battery drain increases dramatically. Just stay at V16

the code in dialer did not work, but i could enter Service Mode with MTK Engineering Mode apk. unfortunately there is no device info in Others. is there another way to check, maybe dump some file?
Use an app from google play called Device Info HW
Hey,
thanks for your support and time! I have downloaded this app and this are the results. it shows Touchscreen gt1x (i2c 1-005d)
Will it boot up after just decompressing and compressing it again? Try: twrp-3.2.2.0-cubot_king_kong_7081c-20180902-2017.img (not patched).
Thanks a lot for providing a usable TWRP, even if only one you can boot from fastboot and not flash. It serves its purpose of installing SuperSU or Magisk, good enough for me.
I'm no Android kernel wizard but I fail to see how booting from a flashed partition or in-memory through fastboot makes a difference as far as the touch driver is concerned?
EDIT : wanted to provide the requested information but it's been done already.
In gt1x its because of this:
So get_boot_mode() returns a different value depending on how TWRP was started, from the recovery partition or in-memory from fastboot? and the touchscreen driver basically disables itself in the former case? I've learned something new today, thanks for enlightening us (and I'm impressed by your knowledge of this source code BTW).
EDIT: @aIecxs: unfortunately you're right. Dr. Web has spotted them as the infamous Downloader adware. Guess I'll have to take care of these once I have root.
And what about custom ROMs? Is it possible to build Lineage OS for this device?
I'm thinking of buying one, but if there won't be any OS updates it'll be much worse than I expected.

I unlocked the bootloader and tried booting the recovery using this method, but the TWRP logo shows up and the phone is stuck in a bootloop (TWRP logo shows up and disappears over and over again) .
I have tried flashing with SPFlash tool with no results. Every other recovery in this thread simply does not boot at all. What can I do to debug it? I have tried every possible method to root this phone with no success (neither TWRP nor "one click root" apps work). If anyone knows something, please help. I really want to root this phone in order to remove the malware that is preinstalled on it (adups fota). Note that I am not a developer and don't know much about these things beyond flashing custom ROMs. Thank you in advance
please do a read back for boot.img and recovery.img with SP Flash Tool

Magisk root > bootloop > Stock ROM > success

I have almost finished setting up new Redmi 6.
After rooting, getting TWRP on the phone I have reinstated all apps trough TitaniumBackup. I have reinstated too many apps from TB and at some point I have removed 1 or 2 apps too many that I thought are only from TB...
Inside TB I went into system apps and deleted apps wit: Backup copy [APK + backup]. Before I realised that apps with backup were actually original Xiaomi appswas too late, I had few warnings later and phone rebooted but couldn't boot into system.
This way I got rid of:
com.android.providers.telephony
com.android.phone
I could recreate what I have removed going into old phone and seeing which apps are backed up from system...
Can you help me to get apps back trough TWRP or FASTBOOT?
USB debugging was still on last time
My SD card is formatted as part of internal storage
TWRP File Manager can browse ROOT folder
It is newest ROM for Redmi6, [V10.3.6.0.OCGMIXM_], can someone provide copy of APKs please?
When in TWRP I mount system only, and try to [wipe dalvik] I get messages:
Failed to wipe dalvik
Updating partition details...
df /external_sd > /tmp/dfoutput.txt process ended with ERROR: 1
df /external_sd > /tmp/dfoutput.txt process ended with ERROR: 1
...done
Unable to mount storage
I almost will not loose any data, but:
if I can I'd like to move missing apps back to /app/data/ OR /system/app/ ? to recover system so it starts
if need be I will flash Xiaomi ROM and start from scratch but will loose many h of hard work on de-bloating etc [I hope that flashing original ROM will be easy since TWRP is working fine]
During TWRP - ADB sideload:
HTML:
adb install com.android.phone.apk
error: device '(null)' not found
- waiting for device -
What can I do???
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Turns out I had to flash original stock
Xiaomi guide is terrible and out of date, so:
there are prerequisites required, like ADB, drivers, that is well explained on Xiaomi site, then...
download original stock for fastboot >>> unpack folder XXX sitting inside 2 archives [it's not zip] >>> download/install and run XiaoMiFlash.exe >>> SELECT button - navigate to unpacked folder XXX >>> attach mobile >>> refresh = device will appear on list >>> FLASH
Read official xiaomi instructions on flashing original ROM just in case something will get updated
Why not any other way?
In TWRP it asked me for a password at the start
I couldn't get /system/ or /data/ mounted, wiped or formatted.
I have seen folks giving advice on how to do it, but often it didn't make sense or it didn't work.
I would be risking bricking new device by other methods & I had no more than 3 pictures to loose on flashing ROM and hours spent on doing up.
Interesting is, there really wasn't even one working advice on how to mount i.e. /system in TWRP when password is missing in booted operating system [like my case, I couldn't find any info on that, all at some point were going to advice to do something that required mounted /system or /data]
But then I just finished whole process of flashing stock ROM; I have set [1. simple password] then [PIN], went to TWRP, tried to use OS password/PIN and it didn't work, it didn't remove encryption .
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Found a solution on how to root the phone after all above.
After another Original stock ROM 10.3.6.0.OCGMIXM flash with XiaoMiFlash.exe, phone will automatically restart and start OS
But... I didn't let it to boot
Once it restarted I have pressed Vol- [button down] and waited for fastboot to load [no need to hold power button]
Installed TWRP 3.0.0.0
Restarted
Hold Vol+ [button up]
TWRP loads
CANCEL if asks for password
----------------------
INSTALL boot.img [when you flash stock ROM it is inside folder, just copy it across]
in MOUNT tick /vendor & /system
use back button to exit MOUNT
INSTALL Magisk 19.3.zip
clean dalvik cache and swipe
I have once again restarted to RECOVERY/TWRP
------------------------
When OS booted I couldn't run/start Magisk APK/aplication. Screen blinked and that's all. Root not working.
download Magisk Manager [7.3.4 in my case] from web & install
I could start application this time & it asked me to install something extra - I have chosen to install it right away
Magisk reboots phone
Now phone was finally rooted
---------------------
I used external USB attached to phone with files so I didn't need to copy files to phone.
This is much more convenient as after restarting to TWRP first time there is nothing on the phone and you would have to sideload.

Below is LibreOffice doc with ADB commands to uninstall bloatware. In the column next to uninstalling commands, are commands to instal same app back [I do not know will this always work since I tried only on few] [some missing - you can create it yourself]
Potentially further down the list there are more necessary apps. Uninstalling them did not cause problems in my set up, but sometimes they might be needed for less important stuff...

Bricked OP 7 Pro, MSM isn't working.

Following a guide to flash a custom ROM, I followed these steps after flashing TWRP:
- Go to main menu, then tap Wipe.
- Now tap Format Data and continue with the formatting process. This will remove encryption as well as delete all files stored on the internal storage.
- Return to the previous menu and tap Advanced Wipe.
- Select the Cache and System partitions to be wiped and then Swipe to Wipe.
- Sideload the /e/ .zip package:
- On the device, select “Advanced”, “ADB Sideload”, then swipe to begin sideload.
- On the host machine, sideload the package using: 'adb sideload filename.zip'
This process was unsuccessful, and now I am stuck in a bootloop, unable to access TWRP.
Tried the MSM tool but I get "Image does not match".
Not sure how to proceed. Any advice? I only have a few days to get this solved before I lose 300 bucks.
