Battery Charging problem when OFF... - OnePlus 6 Questions & Answers

Help here:
OP6 + unlocked+TWRP+Magisk+ Pie9.0.9 xXx Rom.
Yesterday i replace the battery, and it was after one year, wish was without energy. Before assemble rear, i charge a little and test everything.
However i have a strange problem:
When charging OFF, the phone boots and appears the information of telephone unlocked, and stays there.
It should appear the symbol of a central battery + percentage and then go black.
Apart that, everything seems ok with the phone, i can turn OFF, reboot normally, enter TWRP and then system...
Is this normal? Or maybe is something wrong with battery?

Someone?

Can your phone charge in unlock interface? Maybe your phone's boot partition is broken, and it can't show charging interface. Try to use mem tools to flash a full package.

Hi.
It charges normally. On or OFF. Last time i erase and flash ROM 9.0.9, i did have some problems in fact....
And i did flash 9.0.9 Autoinstall from Maurofrio, full package. Everthing seems normal and ok....TWRP, Magisk, etc,etc....
Edit:
Turn off, conect cable, vibrate, and get unlock message.
Press power button + 6 seconds, gets black.......vibrate and again message.....something is weird....
Does not show red light of charging, but i think its hardware here, not software.

Try to use MSM Download Tool to restore phone, it will fix everything except the hardware problem.

[Q] Stuck on Moto Logo

Hey there,
Was on Dexter's Froyo 1.2b. Phone froze up, had to pull battery.
After pulling the battery, it won't reboot. Just stays on the Moto logo forever.
Will not go into recovery mode, but will go into bootloader.
Tried flashing a few different ROMs onto it with RSD, no luck.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

try this
remove your sdcard and just leave sim card in our phone and boot..wait for it ..if after 10 minutes moto logo still there..pull out your battery and put it back into phone
press power button , press the Vol + button for 30 seconds as soon as the Moto Logo shows up
if you see the recovery option select the wipe data/ factory reset option and then reboot..
I had exactly the same problem (and a few people too)
sorry...but you can't do anything!
I tried to flash my phone numerous time, and can't get into recovery!
only solution is to send phone to motorola service
PS. this is 100% connected with dexter's froyo...so it would be nice that we collect some info why is this happening on some phones......

Did you end up sending yours out to motorola service? Were they able to fix your phone? I think resar also had a similar problem. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=821210 (before Dexter's ROM)
It is wrong that there is no way to deal with that problem. I also had it a few weeks ago.
Method 1: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=892026
Method 2: Get a second battery that is charged up ( at least 40 % or so..) and then get into the bootloader and reflash your custom ROM.
Method 3: Charge up your phone ( do not connect it to PC ) with the wall charger. When the phone wants to boot automatically, pull out the battery and set it in again. When the phone tries again to boot, pull the battery out and set it in again. My XT720 wanted to boot after 5-10 minutes or so when it was charging up. You should do that until your phone has enough battery to get into the bootloader.
In my opinion the problem is that the battery does not charge up anyway?
It worked for me with a second battery that was charged up for 50 % and then I reflashed custom ROM with RSD Lite.
Just ask if you don't understand anything
Did you get into RSD Lite & bootloader mode?

Interesting! So, the idea is that when battery power is too low the flash is either ineffective or perhaps disabled by some low-level hardware check? It does seem plausible. I hope I don't ever have to try this.
battery is not a problem (at least in my case)
I have original milestone which have the same battery as xt, so I always charged battery at 100%...
motorola did repair my phone, but now I am afraid of flashing 2.2 back, because it will surely stuck at M logo again (I tried it two times already )
PS. tried flashing ALL available flashes (even original korean 2.2), and nothing happened..
I just couldn't boot into recovery
So when you got into the bootloader mode, was there shown something like "battery low cannot program"?
Or what do you mean exactly with "I just couldn't boot into recovery "?

We tried everything we could to save pajo's phone but nothing worked. resar is also extremely knowledgeable and had to send the phone to Motorola for repair. Pajo's thread has been merged into this mega thread, unfortunately:

Mine bricked today also using Dexter 1.3. This was my replacement phone (other one had audio jack issue, hardware not software). My battery died and couldn't get it to reboot, would just cycle the moto logo then sometime the dex froyo logo. I'm flashing back to stock right now, then reverting ti 1.2b was a more stable build.

Will not boot into recovery only download mode

My phone is rooted with stock rom. The only changes are listed below
Froze bloat that was safe
changed bootanimation to stock samsung
replaced some apps with inverted versions of themselves (ex. google +, stock messaging)
Here goes:
I was using navigation and I noticed that my phone was off after I had finished. Nothing worked at all, I could not boot into recovery or download. I connected the phone to a charger and red led flashes and an empty battery appears. The battery was full. I could reboot the phone while on the charger, but it would shut off as soon as it got to the homescreen. While off, If I pressed the home button, the green battery would appear as if it were charging. From here I could boot into recovery and download mode. The phone will only boot into these modes while connected to the charger. Here is where it went bad. I attempted to restore a backup while the phone was on the car charger and my car charger got pulled out in the middle of a restore. No charger meant that the phone shut off mid restore. Now, when I plug in the phone, the red led appears and the empty battery with a circle inside appears and then goes away. This repeats itself over and over and the phone buzzes when the empty battery reappears. I can still boot into download mode but not recovery. If I try to flash the stock samsung rom via odin, it says that it passes, however upon automatic reboot the samsung appears and nothing else. After the samsung appears the phone just continues to buzz every 5 seconds or so as if it is trying to do something. Could it be a bootloop? I have done a ton of searching here and now I am resorting to help! Your time is appreciated and beers on me if you can help me get my phone back to normal.
I had an issue close to yours and I had to use KIEs to flash back to a stock rom and restore the phone to its factory settings.
This might be the only thing you can do, and it will take some time.
I'm not sure what to make of the whole battery thing as that's not an issue I've seen or even heard about...
As for recovering things, it looks like Odin is going to be the way to go. What exactly did you flash? Was is the system image, the boot image, some combination? It seems as though multiple partitions are damaged. There is a combination Odinable tar around somewhere (I think invisiblek put it together) with basically all the partitions including the entire boot chain, system, and recovery. That's where I'd start...unless of course you already tried that. If you can't find it, I can get it to you tomorrow. Good luck.
---------- Post added at 02:16 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:09 AM ----------
Couldn't edit for some reason. Here's the file I mentioned. It's the combination one.

Thanks, I will try it with Kies first now.
Odin said setup connection and dont goes further (maybe wrong cable or wrong device, dont know).
The easiest were for me to solve this issue with the recovery, but if Kies now can help, I can start from the beginning, and thats better than a full brick

[Q] Now I am at a point I want to keep, but...

When I power off and and press the power button, all I get is the progress wheel and an empty battery logo, over and over. Remove battery, count to 10, reinsert battery, after a couple of seconds the progress wheel then nothing.Press and hold power button same as previous. I can not enter recovery, I can enter download and that's the only way I can boot currently is by re-flashing with ODIN the 1997UCLB3.tar.md5. I can reboot with adb reboot. (Nothing happens when I use the 3 button to get into recovery since before the first Odin Flash.)
History: First occurrence Thursday 2/21/13 with no charging when plugged into the charger (3 tried) Read most of the posts here regarding no charge and boot loop (never got to SAMSUNG logo). Downloaded ODIN and the above ROM and re-flashed when my phone booted, I had everything and was rooted. I was happy until I turned it off and tried to turn back on. same progress wheel and empty battery, I re-flashed and did a hard reset, re-flashed and now my data was gone, reinstalled some things, turned the phone off, same no start. Used heimdall back to stock and when running, as expected, but when off, no start.
Yesterday I downloaded SDK and could ADB reboot. Then I dismantled my phone and cleaned what little just had gotten inside, inspected the power button with magnification and noted nothing wrong reassembled inserted battery and pressed power, same results. Re-flashed to get up and tested all functions which seem to working. I have dropped the phone intentionally several time to no avail.
I can turn the screen off with the power button and wake it up. I can lock the camera with the power button and wand unlock it. I don't know if there is an additional circuit connected to the power button for start and I really need to re-solder ( a little scary for me) with a sharp tip and steady hand. I am considering purchasing a cracked screen phone on eBay and swapping mother boards.
At present, I just don't turn the phone off and use Airplane mode at night. I appreciate the work that I see on this forum and will be grateful for any solutions.
End cut n paste:
Since that date: I have factory reset a few times due to rebooting via download mode and flashing via Odin because upon reflash I lose my mobile connectivity (No wireless service, IMEI as if the Sim was not in) Reset fixed that but of course I had to reinstall all my Apps, google acct. etc (My restore will not come up to clear cache and reboot. I do not have a Recovery mode nor a back up and numerous attempts to get CWM have failed.
I do not intend to turn this phone off until I get a replacement which should be in my hands Tuesday. I am asking for a clean GB rom for Odin that will let me reboot without changing anything. I have jscott30's unbrick Roms that have gotten me where I am and don't want to reflash back to stock anymore, Thanks a 1 to the 1oth power jscott 30 and to qkster for his guides. Without the recovery, I am at a loss of what to do. So I will be cool with a point to a clean UCLB3 Rom to reflash should my phone freeze before Tuesday
Thanks and Make a woman Happy today for Valentines
After you go back to stock and flash a working cwm kernel make sure you release power on logo keep holding vol buttons for at least a min, sometimes it takes a few.I'm sure you did but some people don't.

I never get to the Logo
Thanks, but I never get to the LOGO.
I tried to flash a CWM kernal and it failed with an error on reboot about something not being formatted, At each "return to stock" Odin, I select the format button and since I can't get to recovery on my own, use the Settings, Privacy, Factory reset with Fromat USB, I have the 1997UCLB3-roo.tar.md5 that I will use if my phone turns off or goes dead to reflash back to life.

if you can use odin,
flash jesse's option c.
this will give you the base rom with lidroid boot into recovery option
download this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1702026
flash it in cwm. use the back up the whole rom option.
this will back up just about your whole setup at any one point and make restoring easier.
you had mention about not being able to get into recovery...
what i was wondering is: while running the rom, if you use the pull down status bar menu, go to the far right, there are some reboot options..one of which is recovery..what happens if you choose that option?
Thanks qkster!
I think I tried Option C a couple of days ago and something didn't go right. I figured it was because I couldn't wipe the cache in recovery. I had aslso attempted your kernal flash using the program you recommended. On reboot I got the something not formatted right. I had used my laptop and USB to copy the kernal file to a folder I made in the Infuse. But to be clear. Since I can't clear the caches in recovery, just flas option c, selecting PDA? (No PIT or phone?)
I do want to get the C.
As for the infuse Toolkit, you mean after I get CWM vis Jesse's option C?
You ask about the pull down status bar "when running ROM" is that in ODIN it self? I am not sure where you mean,
Thanks for your patience,

I'm wondering if you may have several things confuse..or at least the terminology anyway.
In order to flash Jesse's option C, you have to be in DOWNLOAD mode (DL or dl) and flashed with Odin on your PC.
When you have the phone running, if you touch the top of the screen and pull it down, you have the status bar menu. You can sweep the icons to the right for additional options.
if you are looking to wipe cache for what ever reason, here is one option without using recovery menu:

if you are looking for an easy way to get into recovery, here is another app:

It's most likely my attempt to communicate with unfamiliar terms:
I can and always have been able to get into Download Mode, and flashed Jesse's C via Odin that way. Originally back at the beginning, It was Odin and Jesse's B that got my phone up. but it didn't solve the problem of not being able to turn the phone on with the power button. It was Wednesday evening that I attempted to load the kernel you had to add CWM, that's when it failed and then the Jesse C failed on Odin and I had no wireless connection or IMEI etc. Back to your unbrick then the factory reset with phone running and using the Privacy menu.
Until I downloaded the Quick Boot at your recommendation, I have not been able to enter Recovery from a phone in the off status. (Recovey ran at the end of each Odin flash). Thanks also for the Cache Cleaner.
Now when I pull down my top bar, nothing scrolls left to right or right to left and I don't ever recall seeing that happen in the last 1.5 years.MIne just shows L-R Wifi; Blue T; GPS; Flight Mode; Screen rotation.
Now I am good as long as the phone doesn't freeze and I have to remove the battery. I have in those cases I have re flashed Jesse's B to bring the phone up. Only the last time I ended up with no wireless (No Sim recognized and it was installed), and I went back to stock to regain it. So I am a bit paranoid about re-flashing anything new now. But knowing me I will before the weekend is done. The Reboot app is what I have been trying to figure out how to do. When I get the new phone and get it up and running and stable, I'll attempt to re melt the on button solder and possible the USB connector solder too. USB connection now dies if the screen time out turns the screen off. (If i keep the screen alive by doodling on it no problem transferring files.)
Thanks for your help I am a bit compulsive so all of this is my current obsession.:laugh:

you're right about the status bar..looking over jesse's description, you would have to flash the lidroid as an extra
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1698972
there is something odd about your phone though...possible hardware issues...you should not have to keep screen on to complete a background task.
under Display..there should be an option to keep the screen on longer than default if you it
gl
I do believe it's hardware too.

I set it on 2 minutes and touch the screen often. Funny it doesn't have an issue in DL mode, Sometimes I wiil have SUB Connected and no charging and It'll connect in the back ground, lose connection repeatedly and all of a sudden show the charging Icon, which I haven't see since all this began 9 days ago.
This phone has had some big drops. last one about 4 days before this began, vibrated off my table saw onto the concrete floor,
Thanks.
New phone works as advertised

Ok eBay phone arrived this afternoon. Factory reset, Odined, Jesse's C option. Yeah, CWM recover. I loaded most of my programs and backed up my ROm. I will experiment on my old one now.
New thing happening. I still can't start the phone from Off. BUT if I plug in the charger and hold down the on button and the down volume button after a few cycles of the dead battery icon, I get a charging icon and the phone is charging. Now with that icon working I can hold the power button down and the phone starts. Charger or USB need to be plugged in for that to work.
Update on the Start button.

Thursday Update:
Recap of current state:
Factory Reset from phone/security/fatory reset.
Flashed Jesse's C option with odin https://www.facebook.com/jennifer.waddell.963/photos_stream?ref=ts and let it boot all the way. Next I down loaded Quickboot (see qksters link above) and restarted in Recovery. Voila Red CWM. Cleared cache; factory reset; Advanced cleared davlik cache. Rebooted and let it fully load. Turned off to enter download.mode and Odined a second time Option C.Everything looked good on all accounts, reentered Google data etc. like a factory reset requires. Re installed Quickboot and booted to CWM and backed up my ROM.
I turned the phone off and the start button wouldn't work still, but I held it a long time with the down volume button (not sure this is necessary, just what I did) and all of a sudden instead of the dead battery logo, I got a charging battery logo and it was 87% charged. First time I had seen this in while. I pressed and held the power button and the Samsung Logo came up and the phone booted. (Slow boot compared to the new Infuse I now have.) So now my old phone was working, but not up to 100%.
I charged the battery to 100% and turned it off and left it off for the day/night. Yesterday I got it to turn on with all the buttons pressed and it booted, said connect battery charger/low battery 1%, h'mmm. I charged again to 100% and turned it off all day and night. Same issue this morning. Something is draining the battery when fully off. SO I still have a hardware issue I believe, just not sure what it is.
Thanks for any insight, I'll keep experimenting.

it could be your battery that is bad.

I have tried several other batteries now with the same results.
Yesterday, I decided it would be a good idea to use this phone as a practice platform for a Jelly Bean upgrade.with scott.hart.bti's http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1776129
Everything went as advertised and I was pretty happy for a while. I was following the instructions quite literally and after flashing the CM9, I removed the external SD card and that messed up getting back into recovery, but I got there. From reading, I understand that I need the IC flash to preserve the EFS file, but not absolutely sure that I can't remove the SD card before starting the process altogether. CM9, then CM10.
Since all my programs needed to be re-downloaded and installed, I had the "Bright idea" to restore the backup in CWM that I did just before the upgrade. Bad idea, now I had a phone that would not boot.
Is there a way to upgrade to JB and not have to re-install all my programs? I will try the Nandroid backup in CWM
To get back working again, I could get into download mode, but not recovery, so I did J scotts back to stock, then the option C to get CWM and used quick boot to get into recovery and reflashed with an experiment of using your Quick wipe in stead of factory reset on this go. Again when I took the SD out at the finish of the CM9 I had a little trouble getting into the recovery to continue. When it did get to recovery, I finished flashing per the instructions, but when it booted I only had a partial group of programs, Google play was the most notable omission. I took a deep breath and did a factory reset, and managed to get into recovery and started with a flash of CM10 again and this time all ok.
I did a couple of boots with quick boot and powered down for the night with it plugged into the charger. This morning I can not get anything up. Battery charging icon shows and goes away (CM10 battery logo) I can get into download, but not recovery and don't really want to Odin back to stock and go from there, but may do that and leave it in GB while I update the new phone.
My conclusion is that it's hardware and possibly USB connector. IN GB the USB cable wouldn't connect so I used Software data cable. In JB it worked. Still confusing, but I'll keep at it.
Thanks for your patience and my learning curve!

Phone just died & doesn't boot after reset/re-installing stock Rom

Hi Guys,
my phone is dead and i have no clue what the issue is.
My S6 just turned off out of nowhere and can't be switched on anymore. It will only show the charge sign for a few seconds after plugin in and then stops/screen turns off. It can't be started at all.
I bought a new battery but don't think this is the problem. i haven't installed it yet, as something else might be broken.
The phone won't turn on when connected to the usb from the laptop, but i can get it into recovery mode as long as it is connected and install a new firmware.
If i unplug the usb in recovery mode, the phone switches off right away so that might be a power issue.
Once i install a new factory rom through Odin, the black/white Samsung boot screen comes on, then the blue installing screen that counts up the installation percentage, and then the phone turns off around 2-6% and says erasing. Then the phone is completely dead again and i can only get a screen picture by entering recovery mode.
What can it be? Any ideas/suggestions?
i attached some picture and a video of the start up in the .zip file, as i can't upload .mp4.
Thanks
Smiler51
I also don't have a boot-loop or something where the phone continuously reboots.
Maybe something related to the memory of the phone?
try flashing firmware with "NAND Erase All" under Options in Odin, this will wipe /data/ partition, if you get stuck in a blank screen reboot in recovery mode and perform a Factory reset to recreate/format the /data/ partition again.

Thanks a lot for that tip.
I tried that and the blue installing screen that counts up the installation percentage doesn't stop at 2-6%, but it stops at 26-32% now, then says erasing, reboots into the same blue installation screen and then turns off.
When i unplug the cable, the phone immediately turns off, so there must be some battery issue as well. Not sure if this is related in any way. I can't get into recovery when only running on battery without a USB cable connected.
Anymore ideas what i could try or it could be?
I think, that because of battery your phone died while flashing in Odin and that's why you can't flash anything now

The phone is connected to the USB though. Wouldn't that provide enough juice to power the phone while flashing?
I can install the new battery i bought but if that is not the reason, i can't return it anymore.
Does the USB provide enough power when flashing?

This is 99% a dead battery, try replacing it. If you have enough time to disconnect and connect to your Wall charger you could try that.
Usb is not enough to keep the phone on, neither charge the battery at the same time

I have installed the new battery.
It is working now... Wow, i didn't know that no charge in the battery will create such a problem
Thanks for the help!

Xiaomi Mi 4 (Cancro) 16GB/3GB Global Model Stuck in EDL mode

From last 2 weeks I have been struggling with getting my mi4 to work again. Earlier, I was running AOSP Extended Custom Rom based on ANDROID 10 without root but bootloader unlocked since last 3+ years and It was running well. Following complication happened suddenly without installing any new app on my phone:
My payment app shown that my phone is rooted and did not let me do any payments
Unable to connect to WIFI showing password cannot be saved
After that, I tried cleaning apps cache while system was on and through TWRP recovery cleaned Dalvik cache and cache but that did not change any behavior.
Instead of factory resetting and reinstalling same rom, I was looking for new rom and found Xtended XR Vanilla ANDROID 11 rom unofficially released in following thread:
Xtended XR Vanilla ANDROID 11 For Mi4 (Cancro)
I downloaded this rom and Gapps from BitGapps as somehow LiteGapps was not installing playstore even it stated in the information. I tried installing Xtended XR and Gapps but TWRP stated Storage is insufficient. So, I decided to see if only Xtended XR rom works or not? It worked after reinstalling. Everything was working fine but battery was draining fast that was unusual because earlier it was giving me around 1.5-2 hours of Screen on Time and now it was down to around 40-50 mins! In order to get Google Playstore, I had to resize system partition.
After reading few articles, threads and watching YouTube videos, I deleted cache, system, data and vender partitions and resized and recreated them. But after doing that still twrp was showing the same message of storage but I found that it is a problem with many custom roms but can be solved by unmounting system, resize system and mounting system again from twrp after flashing rom. It worked and I was able to install BitGapps and except battery draining everything worked. Therefore I was thinking of flashing some custom kernel for battery draining as I was using CraneWing kernel with AOSP Extended it was working fine. Before that I started setting up my phone settings and installed apps from playstore.
Everything was fine till now but on next day after finishing all basic settings and installing apps, I encountered new problem. It happened twice whenever I try to change brightness manually phone restarts automatically. From second time onward phone stopped booting to system.
I tried following things that did not work:
Re-flashing Xtended XR Rom and BitGapps (installed successfully every time but didn't boot)
Wiping and Formatting cache, data, and system partitions
Changing TWRP version
Installing Stock Fastboot MIUI Global Rom for Mi4 Cancro (installed 4-5 times successfully via PC on fastboot, MI recovery opened twice but system did not boot)
Re-flashing TWRP again (Because battery was not charging, so whenever I keep phone as it is for like 1-2 days for draining battery I can open TWRP with 1-3% battery and can charge till 16-20% then it goes to boot loop with Mi Logo)
By this time I was only able to access Fastboot, so tried installing stock rom but it did not boot. Recovery is also not accessible. I found that I can flash stock rom in EDL mode. My phone does not support EDL from fastboot. Then I found following thread for reboot to edl via fastboot:
Reboot to EDL Via Modified Fastboot For Redmi Note 3
I used that but because it was for Redmi Note 3 and I think I made a mistake by using that. I tried button combinations of Power and Volume buttons and also tried battery draining but that did not work. Now at this moment I am stuck with following problems in given order to make my phone work again:
Battery not charging
Stuck in EDL Mode. Restarting frequently (in 2-3 seconds) in EDL continuously without system recognizing it as Qualcomm Device
Able to turn on Fastboot when Connect with Wall Charger but cannot with USB connected with PC. Though I can turn on Fastboot with wall charger connected and then connect to PC to perform any fastboot commands.
Custom Recovery not accessible (Can flash recovery but not opening)
I am not sure it is entirely battery problem or something wrong with custom rom, gapps or fastboot miui stock rom. I am not sure how can I solve this problem now. Battery replacement seems one thing that I can do but the company stopped manufacturing batteries but I found someone who has 3 years old battery stock and says it works very well for this and many other devices batteries that he sells even if manufactured batteries kept unused for long.
What should I do? I would appreciate if someone help me on this.
Thanks.
I think your brightness problem reason was that you flash cuatom kernel. I think that kernel not supported android 11. You should just tried other custom roms like havoc lineage for android 11 or etc.
Does it have blink red LED When you plug your device to charger?
It should turn to fastboot when you plug via USB to PC and hold vol up + power... Anyway, use another cable (original is better) to do that.
If u can't do that :
So about battery, for your problem i think you have 2 ways:
1. Buy and Change battery and flash fastboot rom and...
2. Charge your battery and flash fastboot and...
Just plug your device for 6-8 hours to the charger and after that, flash fastboot...
Be careful that you should use original cable.

Actually, I did not flash any custom kernel with Xtended XR rom I was just thinking about finding compatible kernel later and then flash it.
Yes, I do get red LED but phone is continuously in EDL bootloop either I put on charge or connect with PC. With charger I can turn on fastboot but with PC it remain stuck in EDL. So I can perform some fastboot commands via getting fastboot by connecting charger -> turn on fastboot -> plug into PC. But after restart it remain in EDL bootloop. So exiting EDL is first major problem that I need to solve.
Your other two suggestions would not work if I cannot get out of EDL bootloop. Though I do think changing battery after resolving EDL bootloop can work but as of now I have no luck. I hope you get my point.
is there a way to manually stopping EDL via opening phone and do something with the motherboard or battery?
btw you have made a great rom @moj.enjoy thank you. I only got to use it for sometime but I liked it. I am planning to install the same rom if my phone starts.

I know what you are say. But are u sure that you are in EDL mode?
I think when you charge battery, it can automatically bypass EDL! In my opinion charge your battery 8 hours and don't touch that. After that

I tried charging battery for 8 hours, but phone remain uncharged. Sadly, nothing changed.
While charging with charger, the red LED blinks variably between 3-12 times before showing MI logo in bootloop.
Blinking of red LED is the same when connected with PC, but in PC it remains in blinking and neither show MI logo nor allow me to fastboot. Also I hear connect and disconnect Windows OS sounds for devices frequently.

I think It's battery issue...
CONCLUSIONI changed battery then able to flash custom rom, gapps and installed apps. It was working fine.
But again after few hours it suddenly went to bootloop and never booted again. Technician said there is some problem with PCB and phone is considered dead now.
Thank you @moj.enjoy for giving your time here.
