Hi!
I've installed this ROM on my HTC One S:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-s/development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-lollipop-htc-one-s-t2946468
Everything seemed to be fine, but sd storage broken. Now I can't even boot phone, only thing i see is CM logo. If i'm trying use ADB Slideload or wipe data in recovery i see this:
E: Unable to mount storage.
E: Unable to mount /sdcard during GUI startup.
E: Unable to mount /sdcard/TWRP/.twrps when trying to read settings file.
Please, help me, how I can flash anything? I was looking for solutions but I didn't find :<

Relock your device install the factory RUU, now your phone turn on and all is ok but you haven't the bootloader unlocked, root and recovery, so if you want any other rom you can flash any rom, boot and recovery.
So I decided I would switch back to a custom rom on my phone. I reverted to stock several months ago to get the official Telus 6.0.1 update. Now that I have that, I'm trying to get TWRP installed so I can throw a ROM on, but when I get TWRP loaded, none of the other file systems are mountable and I don't see anything in the /sdcard directory or anywhere else. There are errors when trying to mount them as well.
I did flash the 6.0.1 bootloader and modem the rom dev suggested before doing the TWRP recovery, but I'm still stuck with not being able to access anything while in the recovery, and I get thrown in to a bootloop if I try to boot the OS. I can flash the Telus 6.0.1 rom back to my phone and resolve this, but I'm wondering why TWRP is "corrupting" my phone like it is. Here are the errors i'm seeing in recovery:
Could not mount /data and unable to find cryptofooter
Failed to mount '/data' (Invalid argument)
Unable to recreate /data/media folder
Failed to mount '/data' (Invalid argument)
.......done
Unable to mount storage
Failed to mount '/data' (Invalid argument)
Full SELinux support is present
Unable to mount /data/media/TWRP/.twrps
Anyone know what's going on here? I tried this same process a few weeks ago, but just resigned myself to staying on the stock Telus rom because this same issue came up.
Hi All,
I am trying to root Samsung S7 Oreo 8.0 with TWRP & Magisk. But, when ever I log into TWRP it's saying "Inernal Memory 0MB)
I've followed below steps :
Installed TWRP and no-verity-opt-encrypt zip, it worked until I reboot to system
After reboot again the internal memory showing as 0MB (may be re-encrypted)
Is there any way that I can remove the encryption permanently?
Error :
Could not mount /data and unable to find crypto footer.
Failed to mount '/data' (Invalid argument)
Unable to recreate /data/media folder.
Updating partition details...
Failed to mount '/data' (Invalid argument)
...done
Unable to mount storage
Failed to mount '/data' (Invalid argument)
Full SELinux support is present
Unable to mount /data/media/TWRP/.twrps
PS : I've gone through the forum to find different solutions, but nothing working to remove the encryption permanently.
yes, it is possible. is use it all the time with my stock android. give me some time to write it...or maybe someone other can tell u. u already used the search in this forum?
an other question, u really need an unencrytped internal memory?

Thank you.. Am not exactly looking for unencrypted partition. Am just confused whether it's expected to format data and no variety everytime or is it just one time for root?
Also I gone through the threads to find fix for this issue. But most of the people are suggesting to format data.
Any other better ways? Can we take backup of existing ROM from TWRP without root?

i am using a stock firmware by telekom, it installs some features after first flash and first reboot (maybe ur firmware does not need step 3, so my second reboot is ur first reboot into download mode)
1. flash stock firmware
2. first reboot
3. install for provider reasons and then
4. second reboot (important: into download mode)
5. flash twrp
6. third reboot (important: into twrp)
7. flash zip-file (attached to this post)
8. reboot and wait....
now u should have an unencrypted system. the only thing is, u need to repeat these steps on firmware updates.

Hey guys,
Few hours ago, I Installed Poco x3 Europe ROM in my Global Poco X3 (with XiaoMiTool V2), and didn't start, it was in Bootloop. (Still don't know if this was a problem or not, I don't know what happened me that)
I solved it with MiFlash and flashing the lastest global rom "surya_global_images_V12.0.7.0.QJGMIXM_20201221.0000.00_10.0_global"
Finally, MIUI loaded, I install the TWRP, tried to flash crDroid ROM and these error appeared:
Updating partition details...
Failed to mount '/system_root' (Invalid argument)
Failed to mount '/product' (No such file or director)
After that, I don't know what I did, but I restarted and I didn't have any OS, phone starts automatically in Fastboot mode.
Again, reinstall the lastest rom with MiFlash, installed MIUI again, installed TWRP again, and I tried to flash LineageOS ROM:
Updating partition details...
Failed to mount '/system_root' (Invalid argument)
Failed to mount '/product' (No such file or director)
I retried to install the LineageOS again after that, and some extrange messages like:
patching system image unconditionally
patching product image unconditionally
After that, I installed OpenGapps Pico, and received Error 20. (I tried rebooting to TWRP again and flashing gapps again and same error)
Finally I made a reboot system, and LineageOS started, but without Gapps installed.
As you can see, I am newbie in the ROM world, I don't even know when to do wipe's (dalvik, cache, system) and format data, if before or after flashing ROM's, but yesterday, I installed ResurrectionRemix, ArrowOS, WaveOS and Pixel Experience ROM's without any problem.
What can I do?
Sorry you all for my bad english.
Best regards.
Since this happened to me, everytime I want to flash a clean ROM (European or Global) through XiaoMiTool V2, phone never work and start bootlooping in first screen (POCO in yellow) and I don't know why. I used XiaoMiTool V2 before and worked well.
Nobody know's what happening with my phone? My system_root and product partitions are broke? I need to change my rom, I don't like Miui haha
Use Orange Fox
or better TWRP

Small update.
I was using TWRP 3.4.0-15 (I think it's the lastest available)
Yesterday I installed OrangeFox R11.0_6 recovery, I flashed crDroid.zip ROM, apparently no problems with /system_root or /product:
patching system image unconditionally
patching product image unconditionally
After few seconds, error appear:
Failed to mount /vendor (Invalid argument)
After that (if my memory doesn't fail), I reboot in recovery, flashed NikGapps, and same error:
Failed to mount /vendor (Invalid argument)
I wiped cache, dalvik cache and format data, reboot system and crDroid started and I had Gapps installed, so maybe /vendor error is not serious, apparently everything works OK.
I flashed fw+vendor to flash another rom, and when I flash fw+vendor, I got error:
Failed to mount /vendor (Invalid argument)
After flash a new ROM.zip, I got error:
Failed to mount /vendor (Invalid argument)
After flashing gapps, I got error:
Failed to mount /vendor (Invalid argument)
Finally, I format data, and I got error:
Failed to mount /vendor (Invalid argument)
What the **** is /vendor and why happen this? xD

Vendor is specific to the device provided by the "vendor", i.e. usually the manufacturer (including customizations) – while System is the "Android base". If you upgrade a MIUI Rom with vendor deleted you're going to brick your device.
I think you need to do a full manual reinstall but I havent rooted my Poco. Maybe you wiped vendor when installing the custom rom... It advised to only wipe system and data

Install super.img from fastboot Rom
After the update of two Magisk scritp my telephone on reboot is stucked on logo.
By long pressing Vol Up + Power I can enter in recovery or fastboot mode.
I need to recover my data, I found a TWRP recovery that was ported to this phone but it is unable to decrypt my data.
I was able to perform a dump of all the data following this post:
Backup full firmware(ROM) of any MediaTek device using MTK client| Oppo reno6 5G | MT6877https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...sing-mtk-client-oppo-reno6-5g-mt6877.4406069/
When I boot in TWRP the recovery say:
Could not mount /data and unable to find crypto footer
Failed to mount '/data' (invalid argument)
Unable to recreate /data/media folder
Unable to mount /data/media/TWRP/.twrps
Failed to mount '/data' (invalid argument)
Failed to mount '/system_root' (Permission denied)

Can somebody help me to correct the TWRP?
If I reinstall the OS with SP flash without deleting the user partition could I have access to all my data?
The system use an MT6873 chipset
Thanks
Reflashing an OS doesn't affect the user-data stored.
Reflashing change nothing, the phone is always stucked on Ulefone logo after reboot
