[Q] No Lockscreen and cannot see the tiles in the notification bar

Running XNPH33R on the One plus one . I do not have a lockscreen and also cannot see the tiles in the notification bar. If i click on the icon on the top right hand side which is supposed to show the icons , nothing happens.
I have gone into the settings to check if the lockscreen option is checked and it is .
Checked for system updates and couldn't find updates . i was told that 38R has released but havent seen it yet.
Some further background information is needed. When did this start happening? Are you unlocked/rooted? Have you made any modifications at all?

I got the oneolus last night . out of the box it was running 28r when all the above issues weren't there . I got 5 updates until 33R and that's when no lock screen, no notification etc issues started appearing . this is the Chinese version .

That's because of the STUPID skinning that Huawei did to its EMUI overlay. I think it is in theory possible to hack the SystemUI or to re-skin the navbar, but it's probably a rather difficult process or more people would do it. Easiest thing is to install Xposed framework, App Settings module and set the SystemUI back to 480 dpi. I know of no other workaround. (Also, setting SystemUI back to 480 dpi also fixes a number of other awkward theming issues, e.g. on the lock screen. The camera app also looks weird at a lower dpi, etc. etc.)

[SOLVED] Need help identifying status bar icon

Title says it all. I'm on Resurrection Remix Oreo (same icon also appears on Bootleggers ROM) and I can't find which setting or app is placing it on the status bar. It's the slightly rounded white rectangle. Any help is appreciated.
[Edited for posterity]
It was from smart keyboard pro.
I guess you've already tried all the statusbar toggles. When does it show up? Maybe the resource is missing for that display density
Yes, I have. It first appears right after I input my screen unlock PIN at boot finish.

Screen issue since updating to 10

Hi
Since upgrading to 10 last night I get a bar at the bottom of the screen on all apps ( see the screenshot) I have gestures enabled with no navigation bar showing.
Anyone know how to get rid of it?
