Does anyone know how to fix gps on poco x3 pro latest global stable rom 13.0.4.0. This bug also appears on 13.0.1.0 and 13.0.3.0
Gps will not be fixed/locked, causing applications like Strava to be inaccurate. I've tried to enable location precision and turn off miui battery saver but still doesn't work.
This problem come after I upgraded to the miui 13 firmware and it turned out that another friend of mine who had upgraded to the latest firmware experienced the same thing

i have not rooted my phone
so after a few days trying to fix this bug with the help of the gps locker application, i found a bug that if the sim with the "128K" logo is activated as mobile data, then it will cause the gps bug to freeze or won't lock the signal.
So, a temporary solution if you want to activate mobile data, use a sim with a 64K logo. This bug will appear if we use mobile data with a 128K sim, the gps won't activate/lock

Hi, I need help on this. It has been days since my battery has gone haywire and I don't know what happened. I just saw that my WIFI isn't turning off even though i toggled itoff in settings/quick settings. I thought maybe a simple reboot may fix it but no. I came from CO12 to Exodus to Bliss but all have the same problems. Wifi isn't turning off! All my settings are stock. Kernels are stock also. I'm getting an average battery life of 3 1/2 hrs SOT which is awful for my usage. Also AndroidSystem and OS is killing my battery but I disabled Google PlayServices which should help. My only concern is the Wifi not turning off. Pls help thanks

Hi.
I use this app wich does only cut on and off the network: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.aDataOnOff&hl=en
(you can also apply a screen filter to help stop battery drain)
But I doubt its your only problem... I tested with and without the app, and the difference is almost not visible. Also, my wifi (when app off) is in third place on battery usage, and I have at least a good 5-6 SOT..

Some people say that it is a common bug in Android 5.0. Can anyone confirm?

The known bug with wifi is not battery drain but the difficulty to connect, to link the network.
I have a Tourneo Courier and it suits me well but when it comes to making a call from the car to the phone this gives me an error.
With other mobiles had not had this problem, will be Nougat's fault?
Thanks greetings

If the device had been working fine on Android 6 and Android 7 giving problems I say it's Android 7. See if there an Bluetooth update for vehicle and take it from there..
PS. Try and extend the BT visibility time out to say maybe 5mins instead of the default 2mins on the Honor 8..

It's Nougat's problem. The bluetooth of the car works well.
And the time of visibility is infinite.
Thank you

OK in that case by the time of official Android 7 for Honor 8 hopefully BT be working. If your on the beta testing you could report this issue..
I downloaded it to version 6.0 and it also gives me the same error.
Is it an EMUI problem?
With a BQ Aquaris E5 4g with version 6.0.1 is going phenomenal.
A greeting
Hi
Anyone know of a way that I can disable the lock screen? I finally got my partner to upgrade her GS7 from MM to Nougat and it's all good except that there is no longer the option for no lockscreen
The phone isn't rooted and I have tried a few apps that disables the lockscreen but I assume the phone won't let it run in background because they only work for a short time
Is there a way to change the lockscreen type to none via ADB?
Thanks,

That was what was on it before the upgrade but not now

Strange, that screenshot of mine is running the latest version of Nougat
Do you have secure startup enabled? Maybe another security setting is preventing you from disabling lockscreen security
Nope nothing like that. Was fine before upgrade and now the option just isn't there. Oh well I'll just have to hope to find out why the apps stop working, probably to do with doze.
Thanks anyway

Have you factory reset since the update to Nougat?
Always recommended after a major upgrade as it generally leaves behind bugs, battery drain, and possibly weird things like this
I'd backup and reset the phone because that option should be there
This is an option on Samsung phones:

Do y'all believe this is an important security option for all phones? Does anyone know how we can get this kind of security on our 7 Pro phones?
We have this on the OnePlus 7 Pro. You are unable to disable certain network functions from the shelf when the screen is locked. I am on the T-Mobile 9.5.8 firmware and witnessed this in action yesterday.

I am curious where i can find this setting.
I just tried and i can access quick settings from the lockscreen and turn off wifi, blue-tooth and data, though i can't turn off GPS which is useless without data i guess.
I'm curious too. I just tested it and I can disable all the network stuff, even restart and turn off the phone.
and he never answered..

Looks like that's only on the T-Mobile version.
My GM1917 still allows me to toggle off airplane mode/wifi/data from the lock screen.

Installed this last night. Went for a walk in the morning, no GPS data.
Was working fine yesterday before the update.
Using gnss app, does not show any satellites.
Anyone having issues with GPS?

I have not received the latest FW in NLD for GW4 yet. Now GPS on watch is working fine, hope update won't break mine too.
I installed the GNSS (thanks for the tip) and although I reveived a remark that the app wouldn't work on the GW4, it perfectly does. I will use it to check after the FW update.
Please do report your issue to Samsung. Easy way is through the Samsung Members app.
(Support - Send Feedback - Error reports). That way Samsung is aware and they can investigate and solve when indeed a hard-/software issue of the GW4.
After a few restarts, of the watch and phone (note 20 ultra) it seems to acquire location. Need to test it with a few walks. I'll let you know how it goes
