I've installed MX Player on my Android TV and love it, as it works well and the GUI and options are awesome. But no matter what I try resume won't work when playing back from USB stick.
I see older posts about this and most people fixed it by uninstalling, restarting the device and re-installing. But after several attempts at doing the same resume just isn't working. I have checked that resume option is set (tried both the resume 'always' and 'ask' options).
Does anyone have other things to try? It's the only third-party media player I have installed at the moment so I can't see it being a conflict with anything.
So after a couple of re-installs and app updates the resume feature seems to now be working for the most part.
I think there's an issue with the whole OS though so I'm going to do a factory reset and start from the beginning. Hopefully that will fix the niggly problems.

My Fuze has started soft resetting itself whenever I try to play a mms stream. I've perfermed several hard resets and the issue will not resolve itself. I did a search and found information on MP3s, but nothing about streams. I have internet access with no problems in both Internet Explorer and Opera. I'm not new to Windows, just WinMo.
Any ideas or threads I've overlooked?
Ok, I figured it out. I was doing either a clear storage or a hard reset to try to clear up the software glitch. It was only when I cleared storage, then performed a hard reset at the screen setup that the problem was cleared up.
Unfortunately, it seems the problem was caused by Herg's flip clock. Time to head over to that thread and find out if there's a way to keep Media Player working.
Well, after working normally last night, we're back to either locking up or rebooting while trying to play a mms stream in Media Player. Just plain old stock ATT software. No add-ons. No customization.
I'm really at a loss here and am thinking hardware, but it's only with one app, which usually rules out hardware.
I had to flash my tab, long story, but I did a format, NVflash and started from total scratch! So I have now installed everything back per the instructions provided for each component, Vegan 5.1, Vegan5.1.1, flash, market fix and the new kernel 2.6.32.30. (Also tested with 32.29 kernel)
Issue -- Ever since I started from scratch TV Stream and TV.com show up in like a phone size screen. I have uninstalled flash, reinstalled it, cleared caches, wiped data, etc. etc..
Any ideas as to what is causing this or what I might look at to try and fix this? Something in build.prop perhaps?
Try going to spare parts app and unchecking run in compatibility mode, then reboot. Worked for me with T.V.com
Must have tried that ten times today with three different kernels but read your post and figured I would try again. And it worked.. I think the issue must have been I was rebooting as opposed to powering down. Thanks.
How do you get tv.com on the gtab, it will not load on mine from the market i get a message that it is not compatiable with my tab.
I use the uZard web browser on my HTC HD2 mobile device (running Windows Mobile 6.5).
Recently I have found that the flash player cannot actually play any videos. On the whole it will open but the Stop, Play/Pause, Volume and Close buttons will not respond. My only choice, thereafter, is to use Windows Mobile Task Manager to forcibly shut the player down and return to the browser itself.
I do not know why it has suddenly started doing this after many months of working with few real problems. I have tried soft-reseting the phone and re-installing the program but I cannot get the flash player to work.
Very occasionally a dialogue box will open saying 'File Not Found' (which I have seen before) and then the player buttons will respond to the extent that they normally would - obviously without actually playing the video. However, when the file opens properly the player simply opens and freezes - even before showing the first frame of the video.
Please help. I have tried to contact the developers through the uZard site but received no reply. If anyone knows anywhere else where it would be worht enquiring, that would be useful information too.
Many thanks!
Further Experimentation
I have found that, after freezing for the best part of two minutes, the player produces the 'Error' message; "Could not open URL!"
After hitting 'OK,' the player responds again. That is to say, you can change the volume level and hit the buttons. If I hit the 'Play/Pause' button, the player will freeze up for a while and, again, produce the message "Could not open URL!"
It looks like LogicPlant, who make the browser are not going to reply to my requests for help so if anyone has any bright ideas, I hope you'll share them.
Many thanks.
I have the exact same problem with my HD2. any solutions?
I'm afraid I still have not found any solution to this; I have experimented, I have researched and I have posted on here - all to no avail.
Interestingly, I recently re-installed uZard on my mobile (having taken it of within a month of my last post). The flash player was able to play videos (and I tested it on a number of websites too).
However, after attempting to use the program a second time, the problem re-occurred. Sure enough, as was the case back in December, simply uninstalling and (at least immediately) re-installing makes no difference.
I literally have NO IDEA why this does not work. I have also tried contacting the makers of the program through the E-Mail addresses provided on the uZard website. That was back in December as well and I received no replies.
Please let me know, anyone, if you have any ideas. Many thanks.
Ever since updating to the newest official 4.3 ROM, I've been having issues with stuttering/juddering video. This will happen in both Youtube and BSplayer (HW acceleration). The stuttering will happen every few seconds, and seems to primarily affect 1080p videos, which many new Youtube videos are, as well as those I have on my SD card.
I have tried reflashing from scratch with the ODIN file that was just recently posted, which did not fix the issue. Nor did multiple factory resets. I have tried Youtube immediately after flashing the ODIN file and factory reset without setting up my accounts or loading any apps.
This did not happen with the stock 4.1.2 for me.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions?
Bump. I'm surprised no one else has noticed this. Either that, or my phone coincidentally became defective at the time of the update...

on fresh upgrade to 4.3, completely stock, and don't see it. Could be your connection, or maybe trying turning off HW acceleration?

I'm editing this since further experimenting says something has changed since the fresh ODIN load. BSplayer actually works fine now; the playback is smooth as expected. However, Youtube is still terrible, with regular stuttering. I can even play a video I downloaded from Youtube in BSplayer and it plays well, but in Youtube it stutters a lot. So, at least it seems like it's not a hardware issue. However, it is still very odd. It does it with both the original version of Youtube that comes with the 4.3 ROM, as well as the updated version from the Play Store. And the issue happens via both 4G and over Wi-Fi.
Thanks for the feedback!
Hello all, I hope this message finds you well.
Recently I bought a new pair of TWS earbuds, BlitzWolf BW-FPE1 and I'm having trouble connecting and playing sound in both of them at the very same time.
Actually when I connect both of them in the smartphone, I can see them connected at the bluetooth screen and I can also see both of them as available options to play audio from the Android sound settings. But as this is a pair of TWS earbuds, both should be connected together and play stereo audio.
What is actually happening is that this Android version (and I presume this is the reason) does not allow me to select them both at the same time. I can only use one of them at time: the audio will either play in the left OR in the right side. In addicion, I receive both left and right side of the audio in just one part of the earbuds.
And just to make sure the earbuds are working perfectly, I've tested it on a Samsung M51 running Android 11 and the latest One UI version (can't recall the version right now) and in the Android audio settings there were on screen a radiobutton to select both of the buds at the same time.
Can someone really confirm that this is a limitation in Android 11 stock version or if there is any kind of workaround to make the earbuds work together?
Thanks in advance!
Try clearing the system cache.
Try a network reset.
A cheap trick that fixes a lot of issues.
If that doesn't work try reinstalling their app, try clearing the data first. Reboot.
Check connectivity setting in settings.
Check bt settings in Developer options as well.
Any other 3rd party sound apps? Try in safe mode. Any you uninstalled*?
Try a hard reboot (simulates pulling battery).
Do not do a factory reset unless you did a major firmware upgrade without doing a reset.
Find the root cause, otherwise it's likely to reoccur.
Play with it... you will find the cause.
Google search for same issue on that brand of device (Motorola), include other OS's/device models in those searches. More than likely you're not the first.
*if an app changed hidden user settings, a factory reset may be needed. This is rare but can happen. Poorly coded ones sometimes will not toggle back hidden settings to their default value.
Sometimes reinstalling the app can allow you to change that value in the app's settings, then uninstall that app again

First of all, thanks for replying!
Well, these earbuds do not have any particular app for configuration or use (and I as long as I looked in the user's guide and Playstore, there is no particular app for them).
I've already checked settings regarding to Bluetooth on Developer options and changed some of them after sometime researching on Google, restarting the smartphone afterwards but no one solved the problem.
I'll take another look into system cache and network reset, hoping this will really solve my problem. Otherwise, the only explanation would be a limitation on the stock version of Android v11.
Many times a network reset is all that's needed.
Clear system cache.
I hate Android 11 but haven't seen this as being one of its known issues.
I have the same situation. the online manual solve it for me
Recover to Default SettingWhen Bluetooth is not connected and in a single headset state, press the touch key 5 times to clear all pairing information, the red and blue lights flash 3 times at the same time, put the earphones in the charging box, then you can pick up the left and right headsets from the charging box for -MS pairing.
