I lose root after each reset the phone without PWR+Volup on start - Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Questions & Answers

Note 10+ and root from Magisk (Patching AP) Android 12.
Every time when I normally reset the phone, I lose root. Then, to recover root, I need to combine with the commands "adb reboot" from Windows via USB and a combination of PWR + Vol UP keys on the first inscription "Samsung" immediately after reset phone. This is the only way I can get root permissions to the next normal reset ... I will always lose root after a regular reset or turning off phone without a combination of PWR + Vol Up. I have enough of it. How to make root permanent ??

And everything is clear, I will answer myself. In addition, in Android above 11, when restarting, you need to connect the phone to the computer or USB headphones and when turning on the power, hold PWR + VolUP and release the buttons right after the first "Samsung" logo.
Second solution. Install the "Reboot options" application from google play and each time reset the phone by selecting the recovery option, this way we do not lose ROOT every time we reset ...
Due to the fact that some devices no longer uses ramdisk in boot images, Magisk has no choice but to be installed in the recovery partition. For these devices, you will have to boot to recovery every time if you want Magisk. Since both Magisk and recovery lives in the same partition, what you actually end up getting when you choose to boot to recovery will be determined by how long you press volume up.
(Powering up normally) → (System with NO Magisk)
(OEM Recovery Key Combo) → (Splash screen) → (Release all buttons) → (System with Magisk)
(OEM Recovery Key Combo) → (Splash screen) → (Keep pressing volume up) → (Actual recovery)

One question,
how does twrp and magisk gonna work together,
or is it possible to use both..
I ask because anytime I flash twrp (magisk installed)
restart my phone it's goes into a black screen and won't even show charging when charger is connected or plugged into PC

[Tutorial] Get rid of bootloader exception error

Hello everyone. This might be tutorial of how to get to download mode, when you flashed something the wrong way and have Bootloader exception error.
Don't forget to stay calm! So, what you need to do?
1. Power on your phone (you will be stucked in bootloader exception screen)
2. Hold volume up + menu + power
a. If you have custom recovery (TWRP/CWM/idk...)
I. Find boot into download mode and done
b. If you don't have custom recovery (navigate via volume up, volume down, power buttons)
I. Find factory reset and wipe cache
II. Find reboot
3. Phone will be again stucked in bootloader exception
4. Normally, everyone will start to press volume down + home + power, but this will just loop the boortloader exception BUT, if you hold buttons long inought for the device to "reboot" 2 times, you should be brought into download mode.
5. If it does not work, just try again, again and again. You must be brought at least once into the download mode .
Hope this "guid/tutorial" will help you somehow.

Magisk rooting issue - Recovery erases itself

Hi,
I've recently gone to rooting my Note 10, I've managed to get the bootloader unlocked. I've followed the rooting instructions with Magisk via flashing with ODIN and then doing a factory reset in recovery.
Basically, whenever ODIN is done, and I try to enter recovery for the first time, it just displays 'erasing' for a second, the phone reboots, and root and magisk don't seem to work. I'm fairly sure I followed instructions to the T. Any idea what could be causing the issue? My phone is the 970F variant. I'm using the latest (android 10) firmware with Magisk and then flashing the processed file.
Thanks!
You should keep holding volume up and power. Don't release any of button when flashing is done and phone is reboot.
Best way is to disable auto reboot in Odin and when modified firmware is flashed, simply reboot by holding vol down and power key together.
As soon as screen goes black. Relase vol down and press vol up and power key. Let the erasing do, don't release buttons at any stage. You will get into recovery.

Magisk will not root

I was able to follow instructions to patch the AP file with magisk. I saved it to my SD card, removed the SD card and put it on my computer and flashed it with Odin. I now have the unlocked Bootloader warning and the not Factory firmware warning. I cannot get Magisk to give me root access. When I Boot to recovery with volume up, Bixby, and Power, if nothing is plugged into the USB C port it will not go into recovery at all. If I press all three of those keys almost any length of time with the computer plugged into the USB C Port, it will go into Factory recovery. It will never boot with magisk giving root access so I can further install Magisk and Root Checker always shows not rooted. I even tried plugging in the USB C while holding the buttons, and even unplugging it while holding in the buttons.
Push.
I have the same problem. Flashed Android 11 with patched magisk AP but it seems like it does not start into the revcovery 'mode' (only factory recovery when plugged to the pc). Worked before with Android 9.
Connect the phone by computer and use ADB command reboot recovery...
With g9700 you can not simply reboot the phone, you always will lost root! You have always to turn off the phone by power button and then turn it on.
Thanks for your reply. However, if I do this, I only get into the recovery menu.
I cannot find any option to boot into recovery "mode" (where magisk is available).
The model is G970F if it makes any differences.
Hi, i had the same problem. I tried the flashing process again and again with Odin v3.14 from the beginning (patched AP only! No other files used) and finally it worked! First, after flashing hold the [power button + vol. down] for 7 seconds and when the display turns off because of the restart then immediately hold [power + bixby + vol up] until you pass all warnings and finally you will see the recovery.

How to boot into recovery of start tablet?

Hi, i have a start 101 tablet with a Cortex-A9 cpu, a WM8850 chipset and a Mali-400 GPU and i do have root, it has android 4.0.3, im not very good in these things but i wanted to install google apps on this tablet, i already found a site that gives some links to some zip files for every android version, but i don't know how to install them. The site that gave those zip said that you need to boot into the recovery of the device and press install from zip, but the problem is that my recovery doesn't have any menu on it.
So 2 days ago i tried finding a way to boot into the recovery, holding the power button and volume up do not take me to the recovery, they take me to a screen which says "do you want to do system recovery? press power button before 10 seconds to confirm" and if i press the power button the tablet factory resets, if i wait 10 seconds the tablet shuts down, i also tried holding the power and volume down buttons but they just took me to normal android.
Now yesterday i found a way to boot into the recovery by using an adb command or by using an app called "Reboot manager ROOT", but the problem is that when i use abd or this app and reboot to the recovery, an android robot with a red triangle appears without any menu on it, and searching this on the internet i was told to basically press power and volume up / down untill a menu appears but i can't get this menu to show up, and since there is no menu if i hold the power button to reboot im stuck into this boot to recovery loop unless i factory reset which works and takes me back to normal android, so then i was thinking that maybe the recovery in this tablet does not exist but is that possible? im not very experienced with this but i also found out about custom recovery yesterday, so after like 5 hours on the internet i found a cwm recovery for my chipset and i saw a video on youtube that said that if you had a twrp/cwm recovery for the same chipset of your android device you can make a custom recovery for your device, the video i followed is this:
so i made this custom recovery img file now but how can i flash it? or can i just use the recovery that is already into my tablet to install the google apps?
because i searched the internet a bit and it seems that for flashing a recovery you need to go to the bootloader but i can't access this thing for some reason, power + volume down takes me to normal android so then i tried adb reboot bootloader but it also takes me to normal android, then i also tried the same app i used to reboot into recovery (reboot manager root) but pressing the reboot to bootloader buttons also does not work (it asks for root permission, i press allow and then it reboots to normal android) same with the reboot to download mode button, then as a last attemp i downloaded an app called "flashify" which basically allows to flash recovery, zip and etc, so i first tried to flash the recovery but pressing the button choose file made the app freeze, so then i tried the flash zip option to maybe flash google apps without recovey, but after choosing the zip it gets stuck at downloading 92% and the app freezes and it doesn't seem to have installed the google apps, do you know if there is any way to boot into this bootloader to flash this cwm recovery or maybe any way i can get the normal recovery to work?
thanks for the help!

Need help for flashing TWRP onto a Magisk-enabled Samsung device

Hi. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 5G (d1x) device, rooted with magisk. The recovery key combo (Power+VolUp) is not working on the second reboot since flashing magisk (exiting download mode to be the first), pressing the key combo only gets me into a unrooted os. Issuing adb reboot recovery command from a pc will only get me into Magisk-enabled os, whether VolUp is long-pressed or not. After I tried to flash a TWRP image patched by the Magisk App using Odin, the situation remained same: key combo not working, adb command gets me into Magisk-enabled os. But if I use the Reboot to Recovery option inside the Magisk App, the phone blacks out for a few seconds after the Note 10 splash screen, and then reboots and gets into unrooted os.
So my question is: Is there something wrong with my method (patching the TWRP image from their official site with Magisk App, renaming it into recovery.img and flashing a tarball containing it with Odin), and how can I get both Magisk and TWRP working (and also how can I fix the recovery key combo).
REPLY:Both TWRP and Magisk work properly after the third reboot.
Hi, I have the same problem. Note 10+ and root from Magisk (Patching AP). Every time I normally reset the phone, I lose root.
