I have installed custom rom in external SD card and now it is not showing my phone storage and when I going to recovery mode it is not showing proper names in SD card. so how can I shift my OS from external SD card to internal SD card. please tell me how to fix this

I moved my old 16gb MicroSD card from my old Droid X to my S3 and never reformatted it. I'm looking to upgrade to a 64gb class 10 card but want to know the best approach. Obviously I'll move images to the cloud or HDD, but what about app data? What considerations should I take before swapping them?

OK I'm not sure whether it's right to post this here since I'm new.
Here goes.
I met a friend which gave me his number which I dialled but I accidentally deleted it before saving into contacts.
I'm on a samsung but since I deleted it within a few minutes after dialing I can't restore call logs since it did not get back up via sync.
I tried recovery softwares but the quick scan couldn't do anything. At the end of the day it needs root acess but I rather not trip knox.
Also since I dialed and it did not connect I can't retrieve it from my telco/service provider.
Any ideas?
