Hi , yesterday I was flashing the MIUI official rom via the Spflash Tool and I unplugged it accidentally , after that I tried to reconnect it and it appear "Unknown USB Device (Descriptor Request Failed)" in the device manager. Is this fixable with software such as hydra , spflash tool or reinstalling the drivers? (Sorry for my bad English.)
phone is booting to OS or did you brick it?

I guess its bricked , I was flashing the miui 12 via the spflash tool but I unplugged the cable accidentally so now it became Unknown USB Device in the device management.
does it boot to fastboot?

no , it even can't boot to the MediaTek mode (the mode which uses spflash tool).
then you bricked it. try edl or seqrch for someone with box
Okay so now the unknown usb device problem is fixed but theres a new problem. When I use the MediaTek EDL mode to flash the MIUI , it appeared a error "ext ram expectioned". It stucked at the "Download DA" process and after 60s the device disconnected from my pc and appeared that error.

Dear Experts,
I Unlocked the Bootloader of My Xperia L using the official Sony way. But after the successful unlocking the Phone is not booting at all. It gets stuck at the Xperia colour theme loading... I gone through various posts and found a solution that I have to Flash my phone using flashtools.
Now I instaled flashtools as well as the required drivers. However when I do the flashing in flash mode, the device disconnects automatically and flashtools says that "make sure you are not in MTP mode". I remember that My phone was in MTP mode when i was unlocking the bootloader and the USB debugging was always on... Now after unlocking bootloader the USB Debugging is showing as off (can be seen in the attached file)
After reading couple more posts about MTP ... I understand that I can't successfully flash unless the phone is out of MTP mode, and USB debugging is on. As my mobile is not booting, I can not go to the settings and tick or untick any of the two.
Please help me with a way to do it. I am attaching a screen print of the flashtools for Ref....
It will be a great relief to me....
Thanks in Advance...

Every Time I connect the phone in flash mode. once it starts flashing process, the phone automatically disconnects and comes on in normal mode.

how to connect in flashmode without using the buttons?im stock in sony logo and i need to turn on usb debugging to use flashtool
1, the adb drivers aren't installed correctly in your pc
2, don't worry about usb debugging
Just connect the phone to the computer in flash mode by pressing vol down and then plug-in the usb cable to your phone.
Flash tool will recognise it automatically if the drivers are installed correctly
3, then reinstall the stock ROM with flash tool
That's it
You said your device is being disconnected while flashing so
When you start flashing from flash tool start the flashing process
(Without connecting the phone to pc)
After the FTF is extracted flash tool will ask to connect the device
Then just connect your device in flash mode

Hello,
Do you know how to install fastboot or flash mode drivers in Windows 10? Also, the flashtool for me is stuck on "please wait until the end of process", how to make it work?
Note: My device gets recognized in ADB when booted up, but does not when in fastboot or flashmode. (Plugging in cable while pressing vol. down)

the drivers will be on the flash tool folder just open the app then tick drivers for Xperia L (thoshan) and general fast boot drivers.
and use the latest flash tool if you can ( Now I am using a Mac so I have a flash tool which was made for apple. but I used to flash my phone using windows and this is the version of the flash tool "flashtool-0.9.18.5" and this worked fine for me ).

Miui 8 or 9 fastboot rom contains repair scripts as well. When you flash them, it should solve issues if any.
Use any of 2015 year releases like
MiFlash 2015.06.01.0
Load all files properly and also use flash all while flashing. It should work.

For final attempts ...
1.Use different usb cable and try or other desktop.
2. Connect phone by press and holding vol up and vol down and power buttons , wait until you hear sound and then flash . If no use, try different combinations like holding volume up alone
3. Use QPST method for flashing(this is how i unbricked my mobile after flashing wrong bootloader)
Try flashing MIUI fastboot ROM using "command prompt", instead of Mi flastool, you can find the procedure of it on miui forum..
Hey there... I was trying to get my OnePlus 7 -That I just bought - to a rooted Android 10, updating was the easy part but while trying to "fastboot flash boot twrp.img" I think I somehow got myself stuck making the bootloader (aka fastboot mode ) as my main thing the phone load into and now when I turn on the phone it goes straight to fastboot mode I go and try to "fastboot flash boot twrp.img" it says OKAY twice but I can't load into recovery it takws me back to the fast boot again.... Idk what to do... Help
More into:
I got to the twrp before once during the process and idk why dumb me rebooted when I couldn't access my phone files from pc I wanted to put the image of OOS on a flash drive and via OTG but once I restarted by mistake after that whatever choice I make on the fastboot screen will quickly restart and get back to the same screen, so I can do "fastboot flash boot twrp.img" successfully but I can't load to it I hit reboot to recover or Start or Reboot Bootloader nothing takes me to twrp,
Also when I try "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img"
It says sending recovery okay, writing recovery failed, (remote: (recovery_b) no such partition)
I hope to get any help and I'm sorry if it's an obvious thing I couldn't notice, I'm not the sharpest between my brothers. Momma says. ? with me. I'll appreciate it I promise.

"sahara server" problem : disable driver signature / update drivers
https://www.howtogeek.com/167723/ho...8.1-so-that-you-can-install-unsigned-drivers/
Qualcomm dr: https://gsmusbdrivers.com/download/android-qualcomm-usb-driver/
you must to press power button at the same time you plug in usb cable.....keep trying and your computer will start installing drivers for Port 9008
(you can use Google Search for more Info about "sahara" problem)
First of all twrp.img is a recovery image. You would normally use fastboot flash recovery twrp.img.
Secondly, you aren't supposed to flash twrp.img but use fastboot boot twrp.img and then boot to twrp and flash the twrp installer. If you can boot into fastboot, type fastboot boot twrp.img(twrp.70 for android q) and then flash twrp installer and oos. And if you can't boot into recovery you will have to use the msm tool.

Hi everyone, I tried to flash a patched Magisk boot image on my Ulefone Armor 8 Pro via fastboot but the device is now stuck in bootloop. I have already read some threads about trying to flash the stock firmware using the proprietary SP Flash Tool, but the phone doesn't remain in download mode for more than a few seconds. I can't even boot in recovery/fastboot mode again to try to flash the stock boot image since the phone just keeps rebooting. If someone could give me a hint it would be really appreciated.

You need write the model of device.
Currently I know of 3 models: 4GB RAM(Armor 8); 6&8GB RAM(Armor 8 Pro).
So with the correct stock ROM you can flash the device.
To use SPFT you need to specify which OS you have: Linux; Win7_8_10; other
This is to know if you actually installed the USB MTK drivers correctly and if further action is needed.
Also, write if you have the device with the bootloader locked or unlocked.
I have the 6GB RAM and have downloaded a time ago the GQ3090RH3_KSX70H_Ulefone_20210902_V01(Non-EU).zip file aka stock ROM. That's aka Non_EEA model. In the Ulefone site have SP_MDT_exe_v3.2048.02.00(Client).zip aka flash tool.
You used that tool?
Thanks for the reply. I have the model with 6GB of RAM as well and I am currently trying to recover my phone by using Windows 11 in a virtual machine. The bootloader is unlocked and I tried to flash the EU version of the stock ROM (GQ3090RH3_KSX70H_Ulefone_EEA_20210902_V01(EU).zip) by using SP_MDT_exe_v3.2048.02.00(Client).zip (after installing the required drivers), but as I have already specified I can't boot in download mode for more than a few seconds. My computer recognises the device as "MediaTek MT65xx Preloader" but the phone immediately reboots and I am not able to flash the stock ROM.

Win11 is not good to use SP tool.
Maybe using Win10?!
"MediaTek MT65xx Preloader" is normal but need installing drivers correctly. You can try this: Driver_Auto_Installer_EXE_v5.1632.00.zip - 8.8MB
Reboot VM and try with the device turned off!
For using SPFT or SP_MDT your device not need in the bootloader mode. Device turned off - conect USB - look about USB PORT COM - Scan - Start All
If you not know how to do so Read Upgrade software guide for factory assembly line.pdf
Here file and more about: Upgrade tools and USB driver - Armor 8 Pro
___________________________
UP: Maybe SP need more than you know.
I used the SPFT and worked good to me with Win10.
May be SPFT can help more than SP: SP_Flash_Tool_v5.2124_Win
For using SPFT your device not need in the bootloader mode. Device turned off - open sxcatter file - look for Download Only option (NOT use FORMAT+....!!!!) - now with the device turned off conect USB - press DOWNLOAD (Ctrl + D).
Well, you saved my phone. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate that. I installed Windows 10 and the drivers you linked me and via SP Flash Tool I managed to flash the stock ROM after connecting the device with a USB cable. Thanks again.

i have the same problem.
it wont stay turn off
so the sp tool can't flash it.
I accidentally installed the wrong ROM on my phone, and now it's unresponsive (nothing happens when I try to turn it on, not even a vibration)
But I managed to access Download Mode (aka EDL, right?).
Can I restore it if I have the Scatter file and the Stock ROM?
Thanks in advance
MediaTek devices have preloader mode, EDL mode is for Qualcomm
Not sure what device you're talking about, but try to look for an "unbrick tool" or an "unbrick guide"
I "semi hard-bricked" my OnePlus 3T a while ago, and there was this leaked Qualcomm tool that you could use to flash the factory ROM the phone came with from Download Mode.

Does the fact that I can communicate and flash via Download Mode (SP Flash Tool) mean that I didn't lose my preloader? I'm kinda stuck trying to flash the Stock ROM (demanding verified image files, even though I'm using the original firmware for flashing... probably)

I've also had issues previously with trying to flash stock images on Samsung phones. Not sure if you have country-specific images, if you do, try giving all of them a shot. I'm from Hungary, and a locally bought Samsung phone only came to life after flashing a Spanish factory image.
you need to (by)pass SLA/DAA authentication
Now I managed to bypass protection, and got the successful flash message from SP Flash Tool.
But I still can't solve the issue (Phone still only responsive from BROM)
For reference I'm using the global version of RMX3171 (Realme Narzo 30A) based on MT6768, and the Stock ROM is available online.
I flashed every partition (Provided in the Stock ROM), and Now it is booting, showing the logo + a message "Download not completed Error Code 0x992566 " and then it reboots after a minute or so -_-
I think that means you did not flash all partitions (some not included in Download)
In the other thread someone mentioned "Format All + Download" very bad idea never do this.
did you try unlocking bootloader from mtkclient like suggested in that thread?

There is no such thing as a "hard bricked" device that can still boot into TWRP. A hard bricked device is completely dead and shows no kind of activity or function. It won't charge, it won't boot into any kind of mode and can't make a connection to PC, makes no sound when connecting to PC and it won't appear in device manager when connected to PC.
A device that can boot into download mode but not its other modes is just a softbricked device.
