Orbic Maui stock rom download? - General Questions and Answers

I've seen a lot of posts about Orbic Wonder but does anyone know where I can find the stock firmware for an Orbic Maui (rc545l i believe)? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
What I've done:
Checked the Orbic website for the normal opensource links but can't find anything there, attempted searching a bunch of search engines (google, duckduckgo, yandex). I also attempted using the verizon/orbic update utility for windows. Does not seem to download the rom but tells the phone to. I've used es file explorer to attempt to find the update file with no luck. I've also searched XDA but only seem to find info on the orbic wonder. I would like to try developing on this device as it's a relatively cheap (about $30) and I think it would help anyone else with it. It will also give me the chance to work on android firmware porting without worrying about bricking a more expensive device.

Okay, so I'm sure google pulled this just to mess with people who have rooted phones? Otherwise why would the RC29 to 30 updates be the only ones missing off the site? Anyhow, I've searched this forum, and only find old links linking to the site where it was released?
Surely somebody has mirrored this? I found a link on zshare, downloaded it, and tried to install, but it just fails.
Anybody have this?

Path 2.0

The new version of path is out, the social journal app, could anyone some how retrieve the .apk file, for some reason my Samsung mini never realises it is compatible, when it usually is.
(cannot post link as I'm apparently a noob)
(also is it possible to somehow make the store think your device is compatible?)
Thanks
Hey, i have the same problem. Can´t find the apk installer anywhere, maybe it´s because i´m using a custom rom. If I happen to find it i´ll let you know, i´ll appreciate it if you do the same.
Thanxs!
will do! as of yet, nothing
Hey, in case you haven' found it yet.

Motorola Droid 2 Global OTA files

Hey guys,
I've been using XDA for quite a while, but so far the community as a whole has been so helpful and thorough that I have never needed to make an account and post, so if any part of this post is wrong or in the wrong section please feel free to move or close this thread.
Now down to business: recently, some old Moto Droid 2 Globals resurfaced at my house, and as they are very old and outdated I figured I would re-purpose them into a few projects I'm working on, as they probably won't be extremely useful in any other ways. Here is my problem though: in order to use them how I would like, they must be rooted. Rooting is not my problem: I have rooted one of them many times when I was still using it (I might or might not have bricked it one or seven times while trying to install custom ROMs so flashing, rooting, and every other aspect of un-bricking is familiar to me). HOWEVER, ALL THE FILES NEEDED TO DOWNGRADE, ROOT, REFLASH AND RESTORE DO NOT EXIST ANYMORE!. This is one of those times where things on the internet actually disappear, as quite a few of the mirrors to the files I need were hosted on the gem of the internet back in the early 2010s, MegaUpload. The rest of the files were linked to personal servers, smaller and now nonexistent file hosting companies, or were straight up removed from their links. So what I'm asking is: if you ever had to root a Motorola Droid 2 Global running GingerBread 2.3.4, System Version 4.5.629.A956.Verizon.en.US, and for some reason you still have the files required to root it, could you upload it and post a link in the comments? I will list the necessary files below in case you would like to scour the internet as I have, or if you want to check that the files you might have are the ones needed. I will also post links to a few guides so if you want to refresh yourself or see how the process is done you can do so without extra searches.
And seriously guys, thanks in advance. Even if no one has the files, this community has helped me out so much over the years that a thank you was way overdue.

(not entirely sure what this one below is, it looks like its a correct file but its got huge red "DO NOT INSTALL" all over the page so take it how you will)

Files I'm (mostly) Certain I Need:
Verizon OTA Version 4.5.608 (but it looks like this is a modified and repacked version)
Verizon OTA Version 4.5.629
wrong section buddy, post this thread in your device's forum

Searching for Juopunutbear - Has anyone got the Linux file please?

Hi all,
Am relatively new to Linux and am trying to gain S=OFF on a HTC Sensation XE.
Am searching everywhere I can think of for the file:
ControlBearRelease_pyramid_GB_LINUX.tgz
Obviously the unlimited.io site no longer operates as is few years ago, have found a windows version as such on a site in australia, and multiply references and links relating back to the original site. The file name came from waybackwhen archive, amazing site, am looking there also. Have been trying to understand if there is some sort of trawler but may be getting in to deep water so to speak.
Current state of play is:
Temp Unlock at HTC website
Clockworkmod Development
Fastboot + ADB
Have tried Rumrunner but could not find updates I think.
Have tried a Windows ControlBear through Wine in terminal, but couldnt read deamon.
Am connecting from a Toshiba Satalite Laptop, running Ubuntu 18.04.
Have paper clip...
So looking for this file...
Am thinking to, on this probably 'Retro', but still viable phone, to possibly try a custom ROM, such as: LineageOS, Paranoid Android, Revolution, Etc. depending on what I can find. Really to play with phone, as sort of learning process. But then am thinking to try and to install postmark OS or such like.
Would be really grateful if anyone could direct me to a source or link and/or any other pointers/advice would be also appreciated,
Sorry my brains a bit frazzzled, hence the corrections.
Allbest,
Matt

NVFlash and other G Tablet tools

Hey all!
A coworker gave me their old G Tablet months ago, and the only thing I kept finding was that it was very hard to find all of the tools needed to modify the thing. So many download links are down, etc. I just wanted to post these on here.
I will take them down if I'm stepping on anyone's toes. I will not help you troubleshoot. I am not responsible for any harm caused by the things provided here, and I cannot claim that they came from reputable sources because I can't even remember from where or when I downloaded them.
NVFlash notes:
I've included the drivers because they were harder to find. They're in usbpcdriver. I can't be bothered to reinstall them to find out which you need because frankly I don't care and you only have two or three options. Good luck.
By default nvflash_gtablet.bat flashes the files in its own directory. Just copy the files into where it's located.
The bootloader is contained on part9.img. If you want to flash CWM you will need to replace part9.img with clockworkmod.img for your particular bootloader. Just rename clockworkmod.img part9.img.
Hope this helps if anyone goes around looking to modify their device. Once again, please do contact me if you would prefer your work to be hard to find.

I went looking through all my old files after I found my old G-tab. It was running barebones, stock android from viewsonic, and NOTHING worked anymore. Couldn't even browse the web or use youtube.
I found multiple custom ROMS (branch 1.2 firmware), stock ROMs (branch 1.2, don't have any 1.1 stuff, sorry!), along with TeamDRHs 350m partition prep file, NVflash, and USB drivers for Windows (can be found in the teamDRH 350 Prep folder). Everything you could possibly need or want to get your g-tablet back up and running again. I even used archive.org to look up teamdrh.com and gtablet for dummies old websites; so I could create instruction manuals for myself and those who need them. I just copy-pasted their how-to posts into word documents.
I was bummed I couldn't find MOST of these files ANYWHERE on the web. I was horribly surprised they were not even attached to the original posts here on xda. Maybe the get auto-deleted after a certain period of time or the original posts had links to their own website instead, sigh.
I hope these stay for a long time to come but if not, I have these files stored on 2 mechanical HDDs that I occasionally boot up to make sure they stay working. If anyone ever needs them, send me a DM. Hope this helps. Leave a comment with the ROM you decide to go with! Personally, I'm going with TeamDRH JB 5.2 as it is the 'newest' ROM I have. Hoping to get playstore and browser support using it at the very least. I'd just like to use my tablet as a web browsing/video streaming device again.
