Hello, I noticed that when I have AOD turned on, after a few minutes it does not work and in the AOD settings it is turned off
Go to settings and search for Devce Admin Apps. If any (other than Find My Phone) is toggled on, turn them off and see if it works.

Do you have schedule set up? I think that is the default setting when you turn it on.
I personally have mine set to off during the day (6:00AM - 8:00PM).
Is it a digital clock that comes up? If so, it is a built-in clock that comes up I believe after you receive a message or notification. It is annoying and cannot be turned off. There is a thread about it.
do you have any bixby routines enabled?

You're probably thinking "Turn off 'Always Scanning'"
Well, that's not it.
I noticed this issue in the developer preview, and I thought it was part of the wifi bug that held up release. Well, after coming across a Reddit post, it seems it's affecting at least one other person in the official image as well as me still.
Wifi is off:

Always scanning is off:
And I even tried to toggle Wifi on while sleeping to never.
Battery stats shows Wifi on the entire time (the sliver of 'off' you see is a reboot.):
I disabled location and bluetooth, thinking there might be an app tied to either of those that is keeping wifi alive, for location reasons or other. Is anyone else seeing this, or have any ideas?
Same issue, not a huge one tho cuz it doesnt effect my batterylife.
I would like to get smart lock set up, and I already have my home and work locations in google maps. I would like to use these two options with smart lock yet they are greyed out.
Any ideas? Running Cataclysm and ElementalX kernel.

Does it need Locations to be on High Accuracy mode, by any chance? I'm not sure myself, just an idea.
The screenshot states exactly what needs to be done; set your home and work places at Maps settings, then enable the switches at trusted places. You can still add another ("custom") place if you have not set home/work addresses.
Cheers.
I had a mass updating of apps a few days ago and ever since, I've been CONSTANTLY interrupted no matter what I'm doing. This stupid screen pops up and it doesn't care how many times I decline.

Hi @kyran64

Hope this helps!

They did indeed have the answer.
Thank you so so so so so so very much!
The solution for me was to DECLINE the pop up every time.
Open the stock contacts app (orange button) and open my own profile (shown at the top of the contacts list).
From my profile, the first option was profile sharing, which was turned off. Click it on the text.. Don't toggle it on or off, you may hang up your phone.
It'll display your registered number at the bottom. Ignore that. You're going to deregister your number but you don't do it from there.
Click the menu or 'more' button at the top. Deregister your phone number.
Done.
So OnePlus is a little excessive when it comes to saving battery...I have to un-optimize and allow auto launch on many apps to keep them functioning properly. Fine, a little tedius but at least I can get around it.
Until today, I tried to allow an app to auto-launch, and apparently there's a 20 app limit. No way to override, it just doesn't allow it and gives the attached message. I can't find anything about this online, has anyone seen this before? How do I override this, or hell turn this stupid "feature" off entirely? All it ends up doing is blocking my smartwatch and other apps from showing notifications after reboot.
This is the function under Settings > Apps > Auto launch. It also pops up if I go into the app properties and try to toggle the "Allow auto launch" switch. Running latest Android 12 OTA.

I charge the S22u in my bed table, at night. I would like to see the clock during night, but I don't want to have AOD always on. I thought that under modes and routines this could be defined, but I can't set a trigger condition to be "device charging". Probably this is possible with third party apps, but first I wanted to be sure that I'm not missing a way to do this with the internal features. I'm in stock Android 13, Snapdragon model.
I use Bixby routine and it works fine

This is what you need to do in Modes And Routines, go to the right bottom tab in Routines and set this exact routine. You can choose the name you want of course ;-)
jordiz86, sprov, many thanks for your answers. I could successfully create the routine.
